The present study proposes the various hypothesis tests and interval estimations for homogeneous and heterogeneous populations in the continuous and discrete process. These results can be used to complement the QC story 15 steps for quality improvement circle and DMAIC processes for six sigma innovation.

Repair of incomplete endocardial cushion defect was accomplished in two cases in September 1973 in this department. In each case a low atrial septal defect and a cleft of mitral septal cusp were found. Interrupted suture repair on the cleft mitral cusp and closure of the atrial septal defect with dacron patch were done successfully. Rigg-Kyvsgaard bubble oxygynator and Sigma motor were utilized for extracorporeal circulation. Follow up study, six months after discharge, revealed satisfactory results.

Engineer and quality statistician use different terms and techniques but they have same meaning and concept. The terms accuracy and precision are frequently used by engineer and scientist in the department of R&D and production technology. This paper makes a contribution to the interpretation of statistical quality techniques by the use of accuracy and precision. Engineer and scientist who have six sigma black belt and statistical background can use efficiently and effectively accuracy and precision in a manner consistent with statistical usage according to this study.

이 논문에서는 벨로우 스피닝 불량율 감소하기 위해 6 시그마 방법을 이용하여 전개하면서 Improve 단계에서 일반적으로 많이 사용하는 요인분석에 의한 배치방법을 대신 다꾸지 방법을 통한 실험계획법을 적용함으로 불량을 감소시키는 방법을 사용하였다.

Leuconostocs는 김치를 비롯한 침채류의 발효에 중요한 세균이나 phenylethyl alcohol이나 vancomycin을 첨가하는 기존의 분리방법은 leuconostocs만을 순수분리할 수 없었을 뿐 아니라 가격이 비싼 것이 단점이었다. 여러가지 식품시료로부터 leuconostocs균주를 저렴하고도 효과적으로 분리할 수 있는 선택배지를 개발하기 위하여 모두 17균주의 leuconostocs와 lactobacilli에 대한 항생제 내성을 소사한 결과 leuconostocs의 novobiocin에 대한 MIC가 lactovacoilli에 비해 5배 이상 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 기초로 하여 novobiocin이 첨가된 leuconotocs의 선택배지를 조제한 바 그 조성은 다음과 같다. 1% Tryptone (Dofco), 0.1% Yeast Extract (Difco), 2% sucrose, 0.1% Beef Extract (BBL), 0.5% sodium acetate, 0.2% ammonium sulfatc. 0.01% magnesium sulfate, 0.2% dipotassium phosphate, 0.05% sorbic acid, 75 ppm sodium azide (Sigma), 0.1% (vol/vol) Tween 80, 30 ${\mu}g/ml$ Vancomycin (Sigma), $5{\mu}g/ml$ Novobiocin (Sigma), $0.5{\mu}g/ml$ cysteine HCI, 1.5% Agar (Difco). 이 leuconostocs의 선택배지를 이용하여 여러가지 종류의 김치, 원유, cheese에서 총 86균주의 미생들을 분리하였다. 분석된 균들은 몇 가지 biochemical test를 통하여 동정한 결과 모두 Leuconostocs 속으로 확인되었으나 Leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp. cremoris와 Leuconostoc lactis는 검출할 수 없었다. 특히 이 배지는 분리 효율성이 MRS 배지에 비해 상대적으로 낮으므로 계수용 배지보다는 순수분리용 선택배비로의 이용이 적합하다 판단되었다.
