  • 증강현신 기술은 지리정보 가시화 영역에 높은 잠재력을 갖고 있다. 특히, 실제 환경에 가상의 지리정보를 증강시킴으로써 사용자가 직관적으로 정보를 습득, 사용할 수 있다는 점이 장점으로 작용할 것이다. 하지만 기존의 실외환경 증강현실 시스템들은 GPS를 사용하거나 RFID 또는 마커를 사용하여 사용자의 위치를 트레킹 하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구들은 도심환경과 같은 복잡한 공간에서 정확도가 떨어지게 되고, 많은 양의 센서를 설치해야 하기 때문에 실용성에 의문이 든다. 이에 본 논문은 GPS의 장점을 살리면서 별도의 기반시설을 필요로 하지 않는 새로운 트래킹 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

Establishing the Black Hole Mass Estimator of Active Galactic Nuclei with Hydrogen Brackett Lines

  • Red dusty Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs) are suspected to mid-stage between ULIRG and AGN phase. As well as, red AGNs are suspected that they have more than 50% of whole AGN population. In order to understand the character of red AGNs, Black Hole (BH) mass of red AGN is a key property and can not measured by existing method such as reverberation mapping and single epoch method. Thus we still don't know their character and properties in clearly. To estimate properties of red AGNs without the effect of dust-obscuration, we have obtained Near InfraRed (NIR) spectra of 31 reverberation mapped AGNs and 49 Palomar-Green(PG) Quasi-Stellar Object (QSO) by using the infrared camera (IRC) for AKARI with unique wavelength range $2.5-5.0{\mu}m$. From this spectra, we measured the FWHM and luminosity of brackett ${\alpha}$ and ${\beta}$ at 4.0, 2.6 micron meter for deriving new BH mass estimators based on the properties of Brackett line emission.

  • In this paper, we present model predictive control (MPC) applied to lane keeping system (LKS) based on a vision module. Due to a slow sampling rate of the vision system, the conventional LKS using single rate control may result in uncomfortable steering control rate in a high vehicle speed. By applying MPC using multi-rate Kalman filter to active steering control, the proposed MPC-based active steering control system prevents undesirable saturated steering control command. The effectiveness of the MPC is validated by simulations for the LKS equipped with a camera module having a slow sampling rate on the curved lane with the minimum radius of 250[m] at a vehicle speed of 30[m/s].

  • It is well known that the combustion phenomenon of diesel engine is an unsteady turbulent diffusion combustion. Therefore, the combustion performance of diesel engine is related to a complex phenomenon which involves the various factors of combustion, such as a injection pressure, injection timing, injection rate, and operation conditions of engine. In this study, the spray and the flame development processes in a single cylinder D.I. diesel visualization engine which uses the electronically controlled injection system were visualized to interpret the complicated combustion phenomenon by using high speed CCD camera. In addition, the cylinder pressure and heat release rate were also obtained in order to analyze the diesel combustion characteristics under several engine conditions.

  • It is important to detect objects movement for obstacle recognition and path searching of UCT(unmanned container transporters) with vision sensor. This paper shows the method to draw out objects and to trace the trajectory of the moving object using a CCD camera and it describes the method to recognize the shape of objects by neural network. We can transform pixel points to objects position of the real space using the proposed viewport. This proposed technique is used by the single vision system based on floor map.

  • MSC(Multi-Spectral Camera) system is a remote sensing instrument to obtain high resolution ground image. MSC system includes main control unit, called SBC(Single Board Computer). SBC controls all the sub-units of MSC system and communicates with spacecraft bus. The software developed for SBC should be reliable and autonomous to support various kinds of imaging missions. It is being developed using VxWorks real-time operating system to manage all tasks for all units efficiently. In this paper, the characteristics of the embedded software on the MSC system will be presented. It covers the hardware related characteristics like the BSP(Board Support Package), device driver and code patch mechanism.

  • Since early 1960s, the high precision machining technology, so called ultra-precision technology or nano technology, has been developed in many Held based on single point diamond turning technology. The major application of this technology is the optical components with aspherical surfaces. Now a days, customer requires the smaller and lighter optical elements, such as camera video and etc., with higher performance for convenience. So, the manufacturer focuses on the ultra-precision technology. Thus, this technology becomes the major target to challenge the advanced barrier for the next machining technology.

  • 이 논문은 한 대의 카메라에서 얻은 일련의 영상을 해석하여 단순한 2차원의 영상을 3차원물체로 복원하는 방법에 대해 설명을 한다. 이러한 3차원 복원 방법은 카메라 내부 변수가 동일하다는 가정을 이용하여 별도의 캘리브레이션 작업 없이 한 대의 카메라로부터 얻은 여러 장의 영상을 이용한다. 이 논문에서 제안한 방법은 내부 변수 중 카메라 행렬의 단순화와 사영 기하를 이용한 것이다 이 방법은 실제 비디오 프레임에 가상의 그래픽 모델을 더하는 AR (Augmented reality) 분야에 특히 유용하다 이 논문에서의 실험은 실제 여러 비디오 스트림 데이터를 바탕으로 수행되었고, 하나의 카메라를 사용한 동영상에서 3차원 구조로 복원하는 실험 결과는 시스템의 유용성을 보여준다.

  • Recently, research of visual control is getting more essential in robotic application, and acquiring 3D informations from the 2D images is becoming more important with development of vision system. For this application, we propose the effective way of controlling stereo vision tracking system for target tracking and calculating distance between target and camera. In this paper we address improved controller using dual-loop visual servo which is more effective compared with using single-loop visual servo for stereo vision tracking system. The speed and the accuracy for realizing a real time tracking are important. However, the vision processing speed is too slow to track object in real time by using only vision feedback data.   • Localization is one of the key problems in the navigation of autonomous mobile robots. The probabilistic Markov localization approaches offer a good mathematical framework to deal with the uncertainty of environment and sensor readings but their use for realtime applications is limited by their computational complexity. This paper aims to reduce the high computational cost associated with the probabilistic Markov localization algorithm. We propose a hybrid landmark-based localization method combining triangulation and probabilistic approaches, which can efficiently update position probability grid, while the probabilistic framework allows to make use of any available sensor data to refine robot´s belief about its current location. The simulation results show the effectiveness and robustness of the method.
