  • In this paper, we first introduce the concept of left strongly simple po-semigroups, then we discuss properties and characterizations nil-extensions of left strongly simple po-semigroups and semilattices of leftstrongly simple po-semigroups. Finally, we give some characterizations of the chain of left strongly simple po-semigroups.

  • A valued field (K, ν) is called defectless if each of its finite extensions is defectless. In [1], Aghigh and Khanduja posed a question on defectless extensions of henselian valued fields: "if every simple algebraic extension of a henselian valued field (K, ν) is defectless, then is it true that (K, ν) is defectless?" They gave an example to show that the answer is "no" in general. This paper explores when the answer to the mentioned question is affirmative. More precisely, for a henselian valued field (K, ν) such that each of its simple algebraic extensions is defectless, we investigate additional conditions under which (K, ν) is defectless.

  • A fourth-order family of triparametric extensions of Jarratt's method are proposed in this paper to find a simple root of nonlinear algebraic equations. Convergence analysis including numerical experiments for various test functions apparently verifies the fourth-order convergence and asymptotic error constants.

  • We provide indifferentiable security analyses of pfMD, MDP, WPH, EMD, NI and CS hash domain extensions and their truncated versions. Unlike previous analytic techniques, the analytic technique considered in this paper is simple and easy. Moreover, the analytic technique can be generally applied to any types of hash domain extensions. That means that the technique can be used as an analyzing tool for any new developed hash function.

  • Based on a discrete-time version of the distributional Little's law, we present a simple computational procedure to obtain the queue-length distribution of the discrete-time GI/G/1 queue from its waiting-time distribution that is available by various existing methods. We also discuss our numerical experience and address a couple of remarks on possible extensions of the procedure.

  • In this paper, a high throughput multiple transform architecture for H.264 Fidelity Range Extensions (FRExt) is proposed. New techniques are adopted which (1) regularize the $8{\times}8$ integer forward and inverse DCT transform matrices, (2) divide them into four $4{\times}4$ sub-matrices so that simple fast butterfly algorithm can be used, (3) because of the similarity of the sub-matrices, mixed butterflies are proposed that all the sub-matrices of $8{\times}8$ and matrices of $4{\times}4$ forward DCT (FDCT), inverse DCT (IDCT) and Hadamard transform can be merged together. Based on these techniques, a hardware architecture is realized which can achieve throughput of 1.488Gpixel/s when processing either $4{\times}4\;or\;8{\times}8$ transform. With such high throughput, the design can satisfy the critical requirement of the real-time multi-transform processing of High Definition (HD) applications such as High Definition DVD (HD-DVD) ($1920{\times}1080@60Hz$) in H.264/AVC FRExt. This work has been synthesized using Rohm 0.18um library. The design can work on a frequency of 93MHz and throughput of 1.488Gpixel/s with a cost of 56440 gates.

  • This paper explains design and implementation of Multimedia E-mail system as a research on multimedia service. It is based on MIME(Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) which extends RFC822. MIME is a standard mail tran sfer protocol which can include multiple objects in a single message, represent non-textual material such as images and audio, exchange without loss of multimedia information through SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol). It is implementation of Multimedia Mail system which can store, delete, edit and tran sfer multimedia mail misgave in user friendly way on UNIX system. It aims tp develope framework for multimedia E-mail system.
