밸브리스 압전펌프 연동구동 제어기 설계 (Design of Multi-Phase Shift Controller for Valveless PZT Pump)

  • The high voltage driving system with multi-phase shifter including piezoelectric actuators comprised a driving power unit for outputting the driving power by converting input alternate current into direct current, a frequency shifting unit for supplying the direct current power and shifting or generating a frequency, a high-voltage amplification unit for amplifying the input signal outputted from the driving power unit and the frequency shifting unit into a high-voltage signal, and a phase shifting unit for shifting the phase difference of the amplified signal applied to the high-voltage amplification unit and driving plural piezoelectric actuators sequentially. The results that the operating voltage was stable, the voltage loss ratio was low and the response velocity was fast could be obtained. An experiment on performance of the high voltage driving system with multi-phase shifter designed and manufactured as above described was conducted by using a piezoelectric pump having 3 sheets of round unimorph piezoelectric actuators laminated respectively in a rectangular case. It sucks any fluid by causing the first piezoelectric actuator to shift from the inlet porter side, the phase delay of 60$^{\circ}$ causes the second piezoelectric actuator to begin to shift, and the phase delay of 120$^{\circ}$ causes the third piezoelectric actuator to begin to shift. As a result of measuring each change in the outlet flow rate of the piezoelectric pump, it was shown that the frequency-flow rate characteristic, the voltage-flow characteristic, and the load pressure-flow rate characteristic were improved.

  • 본 논문에서는 위성항법신호감시국용 GPS/갈릴레오 복합 수신기에서의 소프트웨어 기반의 GPS L1 및 갈릴레오 E1/E5a 신호처리 결과를 기술한다. 성능 검증을 위해 GNSS RF 신호 시뮬레이터 또는 GPS 위성의 실제 신호를 사용하였고, 세부적으로는 광대역 안테나, 112MHz 샘플링 주파수 및 8비트 양자화 레벨을 제공하는 RF/IF 유니트를 이용하여 갈릴레오 시험위성인 지오베-A(GIOVE-A) E1 신호처리를 통해, 갈릴레오 신호처리를 검증하고, FPGA 기반의 신호처리 보드상에서의 시험결과를 제시한다.

Application of the H Infinity Control Principle to the Sodium Ion Selective Gating Channel on Biological Excitable Membranes

  • We proposed the infinity control principle to evaluate the Biological function. The H infinity control was applied to the Sodium (Na) ion selective gating channel on the excitable cellular membrane of the neural system. The channel opening, closing and inactivation processes were expressed by movements of three gates and one inactivation blocking particle in the channel pore. The rate constants of the channel state transition were set to be voltage dependent. The temporal changes in amounts per unit membrane area of the channel states were expressed by means of eight differential equations. The biochemical mimetic used to complete the Na ion selective channel was regarded as noise. The control inputs for ejecting the blocking particle with plugging in the channel pore were set for the active transition from inactivated states to a closed or open state. By applying the H infinity control, we computed temporal changes in the channel states, observers, control inputs and the worst case noises. The present paper will be available for evaluating the noise filtering function of the biological signal transmission system.

  • In order to successfully exploit underwater resources, the first step would be a marine environmental research and exploration on the seafloor. Traditionally one sets up a long-term underwater experimental unit on the seafloor and retrieves the unit later after a certain period time. Essential to these applications is the reliable teleoperation and telemetering of the unit. This study presents ultrasonic-wave remote control system and an underwater sound recognition algorithm that can identify the sound signal without the influence of disturbances due to underwater environmental changes. The proposed method provides a means suitable for units which require low power dissipation and long-time underwater operation. We demonstrate its ability of securing stability and fast sound recognition through experimental methods.

차체 구조 차이에 따른 충돌 고주파 신호 전달성 연구 (A Study on the Signal Transmissibility of High Frequency Crash Pulse according to the Car Structure Difference)

  • Wide range frequency pulses occur in a car crash test. Until now, low frequency under 400Hz has been used to determine an airbag deployment criteria. Also, FIS (Front Impact Sensor) has been used to detect the crash pulse in early stage. Nowadays, technology to determine an airbag delpoyment criteria by using a high frequency crash pulse without FIS is being focused on. In this paper, the signal transmissibility of high frequency pulse for two different cars was studied. Also, signal transfer test of high frequency pulse was done by using a high speed ball impact. Signal runtime of the frontal impact is compared with that of the side impact. The signal transmissibility difference due to the car structure difference was discussed and structure change for improving the signal transmissibility was proposed.

  • In this paper, study of vehicle fire cases caused by connector and power wiring of anti-lock brake system(ABS) module damage is presented. The purpose of ABS module is to improve braking and steering ability under sudden stop of the vehicle by repeatedly activating and releasing the brake with electric signal via electric control unit. The electric control unit for ABS may experience incomplete contact between power line and signal line or electrical breakdown on the printed circuit board by undergoing repetitive signal change which would consequently result in electrical heat and spark, eventually leading to automotive fire. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to provide fundamental data by analyzing connector and power wiring of ABS module damage conducive to the precise investigation on the cause of vehicle fire.

  • This paper presents a technique to evaluate torque and speed characteristics of induction motor with the Dynamometer. The simple Dynamometer controlled via microcontroller and displayed by computer. The Microcontroller generates the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal and control the duty cycle of signal for control braking level. The Buck converter is a braking unit which uses IGBT as switch in circuit. The output current of the Buck converter and output voltage of tacho generator are converted to digital signals and analyzed by microcontroller. The signals are then sent to computer for displaying torque and speed responds independent on the braking time. The test results of the Dynamometer in this research can coreectly predict the torque and speed response under reasonable tests. Moreover, this Dynamometer is easy and inexpensive to make.

  • The SSPA makes the power level of EIRP up to 16W, and compensates for temperature to the SSPA´s maximum stability. The up and the down converters are dually conversed like as individual synthesizers for selecting of independent transmit-receive transponder. The function of the up-converter is to convert the 70MHz IF signal modulated in the indoor unit modem into a 14.0 ∼ 14.5 GHz Ku-band up-link signal to be sent to the antenna. The down-converter converts the 12.25 ∼ 12.75 GHz Ku-band down-link signal or a trouble malfunction of SSPA may be a fatal factor to operation of the whole satellite communication network.   • The basic signals for electronic engine control are velocity and degree of the engine cam shaft. The CPS sensor used for this signal and magnetic pick-up type CPS sensor is more popular. It is very important thing analyze this signal correctly. If there are some mistakes at the analysis, like a noise, The engine do not working at the best status, it will generate some noise, emit exhaust fumes and waste more gases. In general way to analysis this signal, you use zero-level detector circuit and in order to reduce the error you must use another sensor like a TDC sensor. In this paper, We proposed the analysis method using electronics circuits for magnetic pick-up type CPS sensor. We designed Comparison level detector circuit, Differential circuit and Full-rectifier circuit for detected the Long tooth and Short tooth level correctly without another sensor. We expected it is useful for more reliable engine control.

  • This paper deals with modeling method and application of Fuzzy Discrete Event System(FDES). FDES have characteristics which Crisp Discrete Event System(CDES) can't deals with and is constituted with the events that is determined by vague and uncertain judgement like biomedical or traffic control. We proposed Real-time Fuzzy Temporal Logic Framework(RFTLF) to model Fuzzy Discrete Event System. It combines Temporal Logic Framework with Fuzzy Theory. We represented the model of traffic signal systems for intersection to have the property of Fuzzy Discrete Event System with Real-time Fuzzy Temporal Logic Framework and designed a traffic signal controller for smooth traffic flow. Moreover, we proposed the method to find the minimum-time route to reach the desired destination with information obtained in each intersection. In order to evaluate the performance of Real-time Fuzzy Temporal Logic Framework model proposed in this paper, we simulated unit-time extension traffic signal controller model of the latest signal control method on the same condition.
