Development ofn Sharing Space Access Management System based on Mobile Key and RCU(Room Control Unit) (모바일 키 및 RCU에 기반한 공유공간 출입관리 시스템 개발)

  • Recently, the importance of non-face-to-face has been emphasized due to COVID-19, and the use of sharing spaces is also expanding. The use of uncontact check-in technology for access control of sharing spaces reduces waiting time and optimizes workers' efficiency, resulting in operational cost savings. In this paper, we propose a sharing space access management system based on a mobile key and RCU (Room Control Unit), access to the facility using a mobile key, and monitor the facility using an RCU. Proposal system is for shared accommodation, rental field (residence, sale-selling hotel), shared office, etc. when there is a one-time visitor on a specific day and time, the corresponding password is delivered to the mobile platform to expose and key the existing password. It is supported by a field-adaptive system that can reduce discomfort such as delivery. In order to test the operation of the proposed integrated system, tests were conducted according to scenarios to understand the overall status of the user's reservation, check-in, and check-out, and a 100% success rate was derived for each item by setting performance indicators to prove test reliability.

  • In this paper, we present the design, manufacture and test results of Backend unit for SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) that can be applied on a small satellite. The Backend unit for SAR was designed with a control/storage board, TRX(transmission and receiving) board and a power supply board as a single unit in consideration of the applying of a small satellite. The control/storage board uses RFSoC to generate wideband chirp signal, generate operating timings, and perform control and calculations for SAR operation. The TRX board is designed to convert the wideband chirp signal generated by the control/storage board to the operating frequency of X-band by up-converting the frequency. Since small size, light weight, and low cost are important consideration for small satellite, MIL/Industrial grade components were appropriately applied and the at the same time it was designed to ensure mission life through the radiation test, analysis and space environment tests.

  • High-level synthesis generates a structural design that implements the given behavior and satisfies design constraints for area, performance, power consumption, packaging, testing and other criteria. Thus, high-level synthesis generates that register-transfer(RT) level structure from algorithm level description. High-level synthesis consist of compiling, partitioning, scheduling. In this paper, we proposed the efficient scheduling algorithm that find the number of the functional unit and scheduling into the minimum control step with silicon area resource constrained.

  • In this paper, the experimental unit of the cross inductive radio line and two linear induction motors driven by IGBT inverter for train control was made. In actual condition, the track has straight line, but so as to be able to achieve in small space, the unit prepared was shaped into two circular plates. Then by detecting inductive signal, the position data could be obtained. Also the equipment representing speed and thrust of LIM and train position by means of the experimantal unit could be composed.

  • This paper presents the design of an automated EEG analyzing system. The design considerations including processing speed, A/D conversion, filtering, and waveforms detection, are overviewed with the description of the associated EEG characteristics. The architecture of the currently implemented system consists of a p-controller based front-end signal processing unit and a host computer system. The data acquisition procedures are described along with a couple of illustrations of the acquired EEG/EOG signal.

  • Real-time adaptive lattice predictor was implemented on the TMS32020 DSP chip for digital signal processing. The implemented system was composed of Input-Output units and centrla processing-control unit and its supporting assembly soft ware. The performance of hardware realization was verified by comparing input signal and one-step prediction signal which are calcualted by the real-time adaptive lattice predictor. As a result, for 4 stage lattice structure, the maximum running frequency was obtained as 6.41 KHz in this experiment.

  • This paper introduces a PC-based image data processing unit that is composed of preprocessor board and main processor board; The preprocessor contains Inmos A110 processor and efficient H/W architecture for fast mask/logic operations at the speed of video signal rate. It is controlled by the main processor which communicates with the host PC. The main processor board contains TI TMS320C31 digital signal processor, and can access the frame memory of the processor for extra S/W tasks. We test 3*3, 5*5 masks and logic operations on 386/486/DSP and compare the result with that of the proposed unit. The result shows ours are extremely faster than conventional CPU based approach, that is, over several hundred times faster than even DSP.

  • This paper describes the design of the circuit card assembly to eliminate the communication error on a servo control unit installed in the automated resupply vehicle K56. K56 is a weapon system that automates the supply and loading of ammunition on the K-55A1 self-propelled artillery. As the core item responsible for ammunition movement control, the servo control unit is required to have good communication stability and reliability, but the conventional unit has recognized a problem that communication error intermittently occurs, resulting in an emergency stop phenomenon. We analyzed the communication signal of the servo control unit and identified the failure cause of the circuit card assembly to solve this problem. In addition, the signal interference in data/address line of the circuit card assembly was confirmed through analysis of the failure cause, and redesigned to avoid the interference, such as adjustment of the distance between communication lines and position change. Finally, the proposed cause analysis and redesign were verified through the component of servo control unit and attachment test on K56. We expected these study results to be used as reference for the design of other similar items.

A Study on Measuring the Shape of Transparent Objects using the Focal Area of Hologram Optical System (홀로그램 광학계의 초점영역을 이용한 투명 물체의 형상 측정에 관한 연구)

  • Recently image display devices have become large and high quality. To control the qualities of the component, measurements of the shape and thickness of a plate glass has been required. In order to measure the shape of the specular objects, Non-Contact Optical Sensor using Hologram laser unit was proposed. The sensor has a optical system that is composed of a Hologram laser and objective lens used for CD Player, and the sensor showed high performance for measuring the shape and thickness of transparent plates. In the sensor, the temperature of the sensor body is controlled by TEC(Thermoelectric Cooler). In this paper, we proposed the measuring method to make better performance of sensor using focus error signal of a hologram laser unit. It can measure the shape and the thickness of transparent objects with the s-type focus error signal which is generated by the sensor while it goes to the object.
