효과적인 의료정보 공유를 위한 HL7 기반의 XML 저장소 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of an XML Repository Based on HL7 for Efficiently Sharing Medical Information)

  • 현재 거의 대부분의 병원들은 각각 독자적인 의료정보 시스템 체계를 구축하고 있으며, 이렇게 구축된 의료정보 시스템들은 서로 다른 운영체제와 데이터베이스를 사용하기 때문에 상호 간에 환자에 대한 의료정보를 효율적으로 공유찬 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하며 HL7을 기반으로 관계형 데이터베이스 위에 EJB 컴포넌트들을 작성$.$조립하여, 환자들에 대한 의료정보를 저장할 수 있는 XML 저장소(REPOMI : An XML Repository for Medical Information)를 개발하였다. REPOMI를 이용하면 환자들에 대한 의료정보의 정확한 교환 및 공유가 이루어질 것이다. 따라서 개인 병원과 종합병원 간에도 효율적인 의료정보 교환이 가능한 것이다. 이로 인하여 의료기관들은 환자들에게 시간과 비용면에서 더욱 효율적인 진료를 제공할 수 있게 될 것이다.

  • BOM(Bill of Materials) is a listing or description of raw materials, parts, and assemblies that define a product. In manufacturing companies that produce various products with short life cycles, it is very important to manage the BOM of products with various options and versions efficiently. BOM information should be required to share among the departments of engineering, production control, material purchasing, cost management, and shop floor within a manufacturing company. In order to share BOM information efficiently, information system based on WWW(World Wide Web) should be developed. Thus, this paper models and implements Web-based Generic BOM Management System (WGBMS) for management of a number of variant products which are consisted of standard parts under ATO(Assemble To Order) production environment. Also, object-oriented methodology was used to model a generic BOM and phases of navigational design and interface design were introduced to implement the prototype of WGBMS. And Object-Relational Database Management System (ORDBMS) was used to construct the WGBMS database.

Traffic management for large-scale evacuation with public transportation and calculation of appropriate operating ratio

  • In 2013, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) changed the recommended maximum range of the Emergency Planning Zone (EPZ) to 30 km, and the Kori Nuclear Power Plant in Republic of Korea has also expanded the EPZ to 30 km, following the recommendation. As a result, metropolitan cities with a high population density are contained within the EPZ, and evacuating millions of people should be considered if the 30 km range of evacuation is to take place. This study proposes an evacuation plan using buses (public transportation) to transport people outside of the EPZ, quickly and efficiently. To verify the appropriate mode share ratio of buses that can guarantee the right of vulnerable road users and reduce traffic congestion, a model was built simulating the Kori Nuclear Power Plant in Ulsan Metropolitan City. The scenarios were established by changing the mode share ratio of buses and passenger cars by 10%. Considering a large-scale network analysis at the city level, a cell transmission model was applied to calculate the evacuation time in each scenario. The result shows that the optimal mode share ratio of buses is 40%, with a total evacuation time of 132 min, considering feasible bus fleets in Ulsan Metropolitan City.

경량 CAE 포맷을 이용한 다분야 CAE 관리 시스템 개발 (Multidisciplinary CAE Management System Using a Lightweight CAE Format)

  • In the manufacturing industries, CAE analysis results are frequently required during the product development process for design verification. CAE data which include all related information of an analysis is, however, not efficiently shared among engineers because CAE data size is in general very large to deal with. At first, we represent a proposed lightweight format which is capable to include all the types of CAE analysis results and to support hierarchical data structure. Since each CAE system has different data structures of its own, a translator which translates to the proposed format is also represented. Unlike the design environment with CAD system, many CAE systems are used in a manufacturing company because many sorts of analysis are performed usually for a product design. Thus, lots of CAE results are generated and occupy huge size within storage, and they make it harder to manage or share many CAE results efficiently. A multi-CAE management system which is able to share many types of CAE data simultaneously using lightweight format is proposed in this paper. Finally, an implementation of the system for this will be introduced.

  • 지식집약조직의 달성과 유지를 위한 정보기술의 활용에 대한 대안으로, 의사결정지원시스템(DSS: Decision Support System)의 활용 방안을 제시하였다. 의사결정과정의 구조화를 통해 집단의사결정을 지원하는 것이므로 집단 구성원들의 의사결정 과정에 대한 암묵적인 지식을 공유하고 이를 구조화, 종합화하여 명시적인 지식으로 변환할 수 있어야만 한다. 현재까지 조직에 구축된 KMS에 적용되지 못하고 있는 지식관리 기반기술을 DSS를 통해 활용할 수 있음도 파악할 수 있다. 즉, Share, Synthesize, Solve의 기능을 제공하는 정보기술을 활용한 KMS의 활용 사례를 찾기 어려우나, 이와 같은 기술들을 DSS에 적용함으로써 지식 집약적인 조직의 달성과 유지를 위해 DSS를 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 최근 모바일 네트워크 환경에서 데이터의 공유의 효율적 서비스를 위해 Cloud 환경을 이용한 정보 공유 서비스가 이루어지고 있다. 이때 데이터 전송 기술은 광역 통신, 협역 통신, 초근접 통신으로 분류 되고, 초근접 통신인 NFC가 이동이 가능한 휴대 기기에서 주로 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 근거리 통신망 기술인 NFC 기술을 확장한 Zing 기술을 이용하여 효율적으로 대용량 데이터를 공유하는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 Cloud에서 근접 단말기 간의 정보 공유시 발생 될 수 있는 상호운용성 문제점을 해결하였다.

  • An explosive expansion of the use of smart devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs in mobile telecommunications service is bringing about a steep increase of mobile traffic volumes. Mobile network operators or telcos are introducing the $4^{th}$ generation LTE network, which handles traffics more efficiently, to respond such enormously increasing traffics. Meanwhile, it is wondered how LTE contributes to raising a competitive edge of telcos. This paper aims at empirically testing whether the first mover of LTE acquired its competitive advantages. In this paper, we analyzed a number of telcos of 10 major countries. As a result, it turned out that there is no first mover's advantages, that is, the first mover did not have any competitive advantages in market share, profitability, and so on.

  • Integration of engineering information through the IT (Information Technology) is very important key during the collaboration design process. How can we realize the data efficiently in real-time at the early design stage? How can we manage to integrate the separate information made by each designer or department effectively in real time? IT global trend is the unique way of handling these complicated problems from the information inundation. This paper suggests the design process management system deduced from the analytical results considering BPM (Business Process Management) solution workflow. Workflow based design process management system can help user share and integrate the needed information at the right time through Internet. It is found that the proposed tool works well for a beam design case, and this framework can be thus further expanded for an engineering design environment smoothly.

  • 가상화기반이란 단일 서버의 자원을 다수의 정보시스템이 서로 나누어 사용할 수 있는 기술이다. 이 기술은 시스템의 활용도를 높여 에너지 효율적으로 이용하고 탄소를 절감 시켜준다. 따라서 저탄소 녹색성장을 위한 그린 IT 기반의 인프라를 구축한 우수한 예이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 서버 가상화기반 통합 구축 사례를 공유하고자 한다. 가상화는 서버와 스토리지로 나누어 가상화를 통하여 통합하도록 한다.
