경사모래지반의 사각형 수동 열말뚝에 관한 실험적 연구 (A Study on the Rectangular-Shaped Passive Row Piles in Inclined Sand-Ground by Model Test)

  • 본 연구는 지반변형을 일으키는 경사모래지반에 매설된 사각형 수동열말뚝의 모형실험에 대한 것이다. 실험은 지반의 경사각을 조절하여 지반파괴를 유도 하였고, 말뚝의 형상, 위치, 간격을 달리하여 말뚝 거동을 측정하였다. 그 결과 수동말뚝에 작용하는 토압과 수평저항력 그리고 지반변형억제 효과를 확인하였다. 전면 폭이 넓은 B-type 말뚝이 측면 폭이 넓은 H-type 말뚝보다 지반변형억제 효과가 크게 나타났다. 사면경사에 따른 수평저항력 그래프를 이용하여 사면의 파괴각, 말뚝과 지반의 분담력을 알 수 있다.

저고상율 소재의 유동 및 응고현상을 고려한 레올로지 성형공정해석 (Process Analysis for Rheology Forming Considering Flow and Solidification Phenomena in Lower Solid Fraction)

  • Two-dimensional solidification analysis during rheology forming process of semi-solid aluminum alloy has been studied. Two-phase fluid flow model to investigate the velocity field and temperature distribution is proposed. The proposed mathematical model is applied to the die shape of the two types. To calculate the velocity and temperature fields during rheology forming process, the earth governing equation correspondent to the liquid and solid region are adapted. Therefore, each numerical models considering the solid and liquid region existing within the semi-solid material have been developed to predict the deflect of rheology forming gnarls. The Arbitrary Boundary Maker And Cell (ABMAC) method is employed to solve the two-phase flow model of the Navier-Stokes equation. Theoretical model on the basis of the two-phase flow model is the mixture rule of solid and liquid phases. This approach is based on the liquid and solid viscosity. The liquid viscosity is pure liquid state value, however solid viscosity is considered as a function of the shear rate, solid fraction and power law curves.

Development of Polymeric Water Absorbent Film(PWAF) for the Collection of Size-classified Fog Droplets

  • For the purpose of collecting fog droplets as a function of size a new sampling method was developed in this study. Formation of 100$\pm$10㎛ thickness of polymeric water absorbent film (PWAF) on a nuclepore filter could be successfully realized. Also applicability of particle induced X-ray emission (PIXE) method to the chemical analysis of size-segregated fog droplets collected on PWAF was examined experimentally with synthetic fog droplets generated from a nebulizer. Absorption capacity of S-PAAS polymeric water absorbent shows marked decreases in the range less than 1 wt% and slight decrease between 1 and 3.5 wt% of every salt concentration. Dependency of absorption capacity on pH shows the maximum at pH 7. No apparent peak which can influence the quantitative analysis of elements dissolved and suspended in fog droplets was found at PIXE spectrum of PWAF blank. PWAF kept the original shape without rupture under the PIXE analytical conditions of beam intensity for 10 to 60 nA and irradiation time of 4∼5 min. It should be said that the proposed new technique in the work is helpful to get more detailed information of fog droplets, to clarify the fog formation processes, and to develop a model of acid deposition process.

수소저장합금의 마이크로캡슐화 (Microencapsulation of Hydrogen Storage Alloys)

  • Although it has been well known that many metal hydrides are promising to use for hydrogen storage and other applications, some difficulties still remain. Metal hydrides, particularly in powder form, have very poor thermal conductivity. The hydrogen storage alloys degrade intrinsically or extrinsically during repeated hydriding and dehydriding. Elimination of these problems is very important in the practical applications. In order to prevent degradation and to improve the thermal conductivity, the hydrogen storage characteristics of rare-earth type alloy encapsulated with Cu or Ni by means of chemical plating have been investigated. No changes has occured in hydrogen absorption capacity and equilibrium pressure even though the alloy powder is microencapsulated. The first hydrogen absorption rate of the alloy encapsulated increased considerably comparing to uncapsulated sample. In the case of encapsulating the fine powder ($>10{\mu}m$) and subsequent compacting by $8ton/cm^2$, shape of compact is maintained regardless of hydriding and dehydriding. The degree of degradation of the alloy caused by impurity gas of CO or $O_2$ was decreased prominently by encapsulation.

방전관 형태 및 열화 조건에 따른 세라믹 메탈할라이드 램프의 흑화원인 분석 (Analysis of Wall Blackening Reason in Ceramic Metal Halide Lamp by Shape of Arc-tube and Degradation Condition)

  • In order to analyze the reason of wall blackening, which affect the decline of lifetime in a ceramic metal halide lamp, we carried out the deterioration of ceramic tubes by a change in operating conditions with arc tubes of two types of spherical and cylindrical, and we have confirmed the cause of wall blackening through the analysis of element composition and spectrum from SEM/EDS and spectrum analyzer. Wall blackening of tungsten was shown by sputtering from ignition in 20 minute on/off condition and wall blackening from chemical reaction between PCA wall and rare earth halides was shown significantly in a condition without on/off test. Especially, the wall blackening and the decline of luminous flux were reduced by inner convection in spherical type arc tube. Moreover, the color temperature and color coordinate were changed by reduction of emission spectrum of Dy which causes the chemical reaction with PCA wall.

  • 울산지역에 분포하는 가대리 화강암체는 울산 철 텅그스텐 광화작용의 관계화성암으로서 전형적인 미문상조직을 보여주며, 칼크-알칼리 계열과 I-type화강암류의 지화학적 특성을 나타내고 있다. 가대리화강암은 물이 포화된 상태에서 0.5~2.0 kbar의 압력조건하에서 생성된 것으로 이는 천부에서의 분별결정에 기인된 것으로 화학성분의 분화는 대부분 알칼리 장석의 분별결정작용으로 이루어졌다. 경상분지 최남단에 분포하며 철광화작용과 관련된 미문상화강암체인 마산-김해 화강암체와 가대리화강암제는 미량성분의 화학조성을 비교해볼때 전혀다른 모마그마에서 분화되었음올 시사해준다.

  • Typology of religious organization is a useful analysis from the stand point of sociology of region. A study on the change of type of religious organization according to typology is a academic responsibility. This study can also make a religion prepare theoretical shape for the future of the religion. Although Daesoonjinrihoe now becomes a established sect, Daesoonjinrihoe should retain characteristics as a alternative sect. This feature as a alternative sect is an important identity of Daesoonjinrihoe which was established to criticize and overcome established sect. Dotongjingyeong is an ideal world of Daesoonjinrihoe. The foundation of Dotongjingyeong as an ideal world is essential value and reason of existence of Daesoonjinrihoe. For this reason, Daesoon jinrihoe should not just maintain its position but lead to reach the Dotongjingyeong here and now. Dotongjingyeong which should be built here and now is beyond Daesoonjinrihoe as a religious organization, because Dotongjingyeong is new heaven and new earth. Daesoonjinrihoe should put an guard against trial and error through change of type. Otherwise, Daesoonjinrihoe can not retain characteristics as an alternative sector. Now Daesoonjinrihoe may be at a revolutionary turning point for the foundation of Dotongjingyeong.

현장계측과 수치해석에 의한 흙막이구조물의 거동 비교분석 (A Study on Behavior of the Earth Retaining Structure by Field Measurement and Numerical Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 경사계에 의한 지중수평변위 계측값을 중심으로 수치해석에 적용하기 위한 지반 반력계수를 다양한 이론 및 경험식으로 산출하여 비교하였다. 산정된 지반반력계수의 변화에 따라 벽체 최상단에서는 벽체변위의 최소값과 최대값의 차이가 6.80배로 크게 났으나, 최대 변위점에서는 차이는 거의 없는 1.06배로 나타나 지반반력계수의 증분에 비해 변위의 차이는 작으며 전체적으로 비슷한 값을 나타내었다. 또한 최대변위 발생점에서의 변위를 수치해석한 결과와 계측치로 비교한 결과 변위형상은 비슷하게 나타났다.

RE-ACCELERATION MODEL FOR THE 'SAUSAGE' RADIO RELIC

  • The Sausage radio relic is the arc-like radio structure in the cluster CIZA J2242.8+5301, whose observed properties can be best understood by synchrotron emission from relativistic electrons accelerated at a merger-driven shock. However, there remain a few puzzles that cannot be explained by the shock acceleration model with only in-situ injection. In particular, the Mach number inferred from the observed radio spectral index, Mradio ≈ 4.6, while the Mach number estimated from X-ray observations, MX−ray ≈ 2.7. In an attempt to resolve such a discrepancy, here we consider the re-acceleration model in which a shock of Ms ≈ 3 sweeps through the intracluster gas with a pre-existing population of relativistic electrons. We find that observed brightness profiles at multi frequencies provide strong constraints on the spectral shape of pre-existing electrons. The models with a power-law momentum spectrum with the slope, s ≈ 4.1, and the cutoff Lorentz factor, γe,c ≈ 3−5×104, can reproduce reasonably well the observed spatial profiles of radio fluxes and integrated radio spectrum of the Sausage relic. The possible origins of such relativistic electrons in the intracluster medium remain to be investigated further.

록필댐 축조재료의 입자파쇄에 대한 연구 (A Study on particle crushing of rock-fill material)

  • Earth and rock fill dam is our typical dam because of their inherent flexibility and adaptability to various fundation conditions. In order to secure structural safety, rockfill materials are used angular particles obtained by blasting parent rock or rounded particles collected from river beds. Concrete-faces rockfill dams(CFRD) and Concrete-faces gravelfill dams(CFGD) have become popular in the last 20 years as s result of their good performance and low cost compared with the rockfill dam. These Dams are also constructed by the materials. A key factor in the design of the dams is the deformations induced during construction and upon reservoir filling. These can be predicted using the stress-strain and strength properties can be adequately define. However the stress-strain properties of rockfill are difficult to determine because the properties are affected by such factors as particle grading, size and shape of particles, stress conditions, and particle crushing. In our study, testing of the behavior of the rockfill materials are essential prerequisites to the realistic analysis and design of the CFGD. This paper deals with laboratory testing of particle crushing among the study.
