Purpose: To evaluate the tracing of optic nerve tract using manganese enhanced magnetic resonance Imaging. Materials and Methods: After injecting $30{\mu}l$ of $MnCl_2(1mol)$ (1 mol) Into the retina of female New Zealand white rabbit, the contrast enhancements at major anatomical structures of optic nerve tract were evaluated by high resolution T1-weighted Images 12 hours, 24 hours, and 48 hours after $MnCl_2(1mol)$ Injection using 3D FSPGR (Fast Speiled Gradient Recalled echo) pulse sequence at 1.5T clinical MR scanner with high performance gradient system. Also, for quantitative evaluation, the signal-to-noise ratios of circular ROI on anatomical locations were measured. Results: The major structures on the optic nerve tract were enhanced after injecting $MnCl_2(1mol)$. The structures, which showed enhancement, were right optic nerve, optic chiasm, left optic tract, left lateral geniculate nucleus, left superior colliculus. The structures on the contralateral optic pathway to the right retina were enhanced whereas the structures on the ipsilateral pathway did not show enhancement. Conclusion: The Mn transport through axonal pathway of optic nerve sys)em was non- invasively observed after injecting injecting $MnCl_2$ at the retina, which is the end terminal of optic nerve system. This Mn transport seems to occur by voltage gated calcium $(Ca^{2+})$ channel and In case of direct Injection Into the retina, the fast transpori pathway of voltage gated calcium channel seems to be responsible for Mn transport.

The purpose of this thesis is to suggest objective basic data for the environmental design through the quantitative analysis of the visual quality included in the physical environment of forest landscape. For this, landscape values of forest landscape have been evaluated by using the Iverson method, the images structure of forest landscape's main utilizing space have been analysed by the factor analysis algorithm, degree of visual preferences have been pleasured mainly by questionnaries and SBE method, and finally these thesis can be summarized as fallow LCP with high values of Iverson factors I and IV yield high landscape value. Specifically, Iverson factor IV has been found to play the dominant. For all experimental points, significant seasonal variations in S.D. scale values have been observed. In natural parks, where artificial structures are complementary to the natural landscape, main factors of image are S.D. scales such as the visual sequence, the formal simplicity of structures, the emphasis, the unification of heterogeneous factors and the assimilation. Factors covering the spatial image of natural parks have been found to be the overall evaluation, the individual characteristics, the tidiness, the potentiality, the dignity, the intimacy and the space volume. For all seasons, factors such as the individual characteristics, the dignity, the tidiness, the potentiality, yield high factor scores. As for factors determining the degree of visual preference, variables such as the summit, the skyline, rocks, the water and the degree of natural destruction by artificial structures yield high values for all seasons.

In this paper, GaAs/AlGaAs multi-layer structure was grown by liquid phase epitaxy with graphite sliding boat, which can be used as a device structure of a photocathode image sensor. The multi-layer structure was grown on an n-type GaAs substrate in the sequence as follows: GaAs buffer layer, Zn-doped p-type AlGaAs layer as etching stop layer, Zn-doped p-type GaAs layer, and Zn-doped p-type AlGaAs layer. The Characteristics of GaAs/AlGaAs structures were analyzed by using scanning electron microscope (SEM), secondary ion mass spectrometer (SIMS) and hall measurement. The SEM images shows that the p-AlGaAs/p-GaAs/p-AlGaAs multi-layer structure was grown with a mirror-like surface on a whole ($1.25mm{\times}25mm$) substrate. The Al composition in the AlGaAs layer was approximately 80 %. Also, it was confirmed that the free carrier concentration in the p-GaAs layer can be adjusted to the range of $8{\times}10^{18}/cm^2$ by hall measurement. In the result, it is expected that the p-AlGaAs/p-GaAs/p-AlGaAs multi-layer structure grown by the LPE can be used as a device structure of a photoelectric cathode image sensor.

Purpose : We proposed a multi-physiological signals based real-time intelligent triggering system(MITS) for Cardiac MRI. Induced noise of the system was analyzed. Materials and Methods: MITS makes cardiac MR imaging sequence synchronize to the cardiac motion using ECG, respiratory signal and second order derivative of $SPO_2$signal. Abnormal peaks due to arrhythmia or subject's motion are rejected using the average R-R intervals and R-peak values. Induced eddy currents by gradients switching in cardiac MR imaging are analyzed. The induced eddy currents were removed by hardware and software filters. Results: Cardiac MR images that synchronized to the cardiac and respiratory motion are acquired using MITS successfully without artifacts caused by induced eddy currents of gradient switching or subject's motion or arrhythmia. We showed that the second order derivative of the $SPO_2$ signal can be used as a complement to the ECG signals. Conclusion: The proposed system performs cardiac and respiratory gating with multi-physiological signals in real time. During the cardiac gating, induced noise caused by eddy currents is removed. False triggers due to subject's motion or arrhythmia are rejected. The cardiac MR imaging with free breathing is obtained using MITS.

In this paper, we propose an effective neural network model for image caption generation and model transfer. This model is a kind of multi-modal recurrent neural network models. It consists of five distinct layers: a convolution neural network layer for extracting visual information from images, an embedding layer for converting each word into a low dimensional feature, a recurrent neural network layer for learning caption sentence structure, and a multi-modal layer for combining visual and language information. In this model, the recurrent neural network layer is constructed by LSTM units, which are well known to be effective for learning and transferring sequence patterns. Moreover, this model has a unique structure in which the output of the convolution neural network layer is linked not only to the input of the initial state of the recurrent neural network layer but also to the input of the multimodal layer, in order to make use of visual information extracted from the image at each recurrent step for generating the corresponding textual caption. Through various comparative experiments using open data sets such as Flickr8k, Flickr30k, and MSCOCO, we demonstrated the proposed multimodal recurrent neural network model has high performance in terms of caption accuracy and model transfer effect.
Purpose - The objective of this paper is to suggest that a company's CRM activities have an effect on customer loyalty in the Korean retail industry. Typically, Korean customers use large local marts with convenience in the absence of any other choice. Therefore, this study aims to shed light on the fact that customers do not break away from their preferred retail stores, either owing to their stringent loyalty (the lie loyalty) or difficulty in turning to alternative choices. Research design, data, methodology - By surveying a sample of 200 hyper-markets through a questionnaire, and excluding dubious and missing responses, I obtained 181 samples to be included in the empirical analysis. The survey was conducted for two weeks during October 2011. AMOS and SPSS18 statistical packages were used for conducting statistical analysis for this study. This paper was developed using the concept of customer equity on CRM, which is known to have a positive impact on customer loyalty through the satisfaction and switching-barrier parameters. The hypothesis of this paper is that customer equity is composed of relationship equity, value equity and brand equity, and that the relationship equity variable has positive effects on the value equity and brand equity amongst other types of customer equity. Moreover, customer equity influences customer loyalty through parameters including customer satisfaction and switching costs in the Korean retail industry. Results - According to the results of the analysis, it was confirmed that relationship value had a positive effect (+) on all variables, including the perceived QoS (Quality of Service), store brand images, economic value, and store convenience. It was also confirmed that the assumption that the perceived QoS (Quality of Service), economic value, and store convenience had a positive effect on customer satisfaction was shown to be statistically significant, with a p-value below 0.05. Only the store brand value variable had an effect on the switching-cost variable with respect to the causal sequence of the variables, including the perceived QoS, store brand value, economic value, and store convenience. The remaining variables did not seem to influence the switching-cost variable. On the other hand, another effect showed that customer satisfaction had a statistically significant influence on the switching-costs variable. Moreover, the customer satisfaction and switching-cost variables also had a statistical influence on customer loyalty. Conclusions - The CRM activities had an influence on various variables (including perceived QoS, perceived economic value, store brand value, and store convenience) pertaining to customer values. Customer satisfaction and switching-cost had some effects on customer loyalty as a parameter. This confirms that stringent loyalty exists with respect to customer loyalty in the retail industry. The fact that the variable had such a statistically significant influence on the switching-cost and store brand equity variables means that consumers react to the reputation of a brand, confidence about the store, and quality confidence. The implications of this study in the retail industry should be further extended to devise strategies for customer retention.
The wall painting of Altamira cave "eight-legged wild boar" is often presented as a typical example of long-held desire of humanity for expressing movement. However, the eight legs are the product of so-called "double layer", of two paintings painted in different periods. Nonetheless, the explanation of Altamira cave paintings linking with the origin of animation is constantly reproduced without any particular doubt, verification or citation of sources. The fact of associating eight legs with movement is irrelevant to visual perception transcending time. This should be considered a movement expression code invented in a particular period of time. Sequential photography tried in the late 19th century, in particular, chronography of $\acute{E}tienne$-Jules Marey plays a crucial role in this. Marey's photography of which a series of sequence movements are overlapped in one frame and printed was reflected in painting works of artists including Duchamp and Balla in the early 20th century and formed as movement expression code. Animation manuals started to emerge from that period of time introduced the images of Marey's chronophotography as a way of analyzing and embodying the movement. In sum, the act of considering Altamira cave paintings of eight-legged wild boar as an expression of movement is an error intending to look at the past through today's visual code.
With advancement of the medical imaging technology, the dynamic pelvic MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) has been introduced and used for dynamic MR defecography to improved diagnosis of the patients. At the early stage of its use, it was mostly used to diagnose enterocele or cystocele, then its use was extended to diagnose the organ prolapse and other dysfunctional pelvis organs. There now have been many reports of other diseases such as the functional constipation and others. This paper introduces the pelvis MRI and the dynamic MR defecography and reports the future trend in their clinical applications. Until recently, the studies with pelvic MRI were mostly focused on observing the movement of the pelvis in the supine position. Yang and 26 others reported good result in observing the patients with the pelvic organ prolapse by using the pubococcygeal line as the anatomical index. Using the fast gradient recalled acquisition (fast GRASS), they compared cystocoele, genitourinary prolapse, enterocoele and rectocoele with the control group. Kruyt et al. observed the posterior compartment and reported that MRI was more helpful than the fluoroscopy. Healy et al. applied the dynamic MRI test on the patients with constipation or incontinence as well as the control group without those symptoms. Since then, MRI technology has further advance by Lienemann, who was able to attain the more detailed images using the fast T2 weighted turbo spin echo technology, and others. If its limitation in diagnosing intussusception and the like, since the observation can be made only from the supine position, can be overcome with open MR or others, it is envisages that the method can eventually replace the radiological defecography.
Myocardial tagging technique such as spatial modulation of magnetization (SPAMM) allows the study of myocardial motion with high accuracy. However, the accuracy of the estimation of tag intersection can be affected by tagline spacing. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between tagline spacing of SPAMM image and tagging contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) in in-vivo study. Two healthy volunteers were undergone electrocardiographically triggered MR imaging with SPAMM-based tagging pulse sequence at a 1.5T MR scanner. Horizontally modulated stripe patterns were imposed with a range from 3.6 to 9.6 mm of tagline spacing. Images of the left ventricle(LV) wall were acquired at the mid-ventricle level during cardiac cycle with FE-EPI (TR/TE = 5.8/2.2 msec, FA= 10$^{\circ}$. Tagging CNR for each image was calculated with a software which developed in our group. During contraction, tagging CNR was more rapidly decreased in case of narrow tagline spacing than in case of wide tagline spacing. In the same heart phase, CNR was increased corresponding with tagline spacing. Especially, at the fully contracted heart phase, CNR was more rapidly increased than the other heart phases as a function of tagline spacing. The results indicated that the optimization of tagline spacing provides better tagging CNR in order to analyze the myocardial motion more accurately.

In this paper we propose the technique for tracking players and a ball and for obtaining players' ground traces using image mosaic in general soccer sequences. Here, general soccer sequences mean the case that there is no extreme zoom-in or zoom-out of TV camera. Obtaining player's ground traces requires that the following three main problems be solved. There main problems: (1) ground field extraction (2) player and ball tracking and team indentification (3) player positioning. The region of ground field is extracted on the basis of color information. Players are tracked by template matching and Kalman filtering. Occlusion reasoning between overlapped players in done by color histogram back-projection. To find the location of a player, a ground model is constructed and transformation between the input images and the field model is computed using four or more feature points. But, when feature points extracted are insufficient, image-based mosaic technique is applied. By this image-to-model transformation, the traces of players on the ground model can be determined. We tested our method on real TV soccer sequence and the experimental results are given.
