Study on the Experiences of Preservice Teacher in Early Childhood Education on Learning Content in English (예비유아교사의 영어 전공수업 경험에 관한 연구)

  • This study explored what Korean college students, especially preservice teacher in early childhood education, experienced and how they constructed the meanings of experiences about their subject- matter course (early childhood mathematics education) taught in English. One cohort- 20 senior students- majoring in early childhood education in a 4-year university was participated in this study. Using action research method and narrative research method, data were analyzed. The findings were as follows: 1) preservice teacher experienced some difficulties to construrct professional knowledge through English. 2) They challenged to overcome these difficulties through active participation. 3) They got supports from instructor and peer group. 4) They accomplished the course with self-satisfaction. 5) They experienced the conflicts between social requirements and personal needs.

  • 본 논문에서는 학습자 스스로가 학습 능력을 조절하고 학습 내용과 시험 평가를 객관적으로 판단할 있는 자기 주도적 학습 내용 및 시험 평가 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 자기 주도적 학습 내용 및 시험평가 방법은 삼각형 타입의 소속 함수와 퍼지 논리를 이용하여 학습 능력과 시험 능력의 소속도를 계산하고 각각에 대해 퍼지 등급도를 부여하였다. 학습 능력의 소속도와 시험 능력의 소속도에 대해서 퍼지 관계의 연산 및 합성에 의해 최종 소속도를 계산하고 퍼지 등급도를 결정하여 학습자가 학습 능력의 소속도와 시험 능력의 소속도 및 최종 퍼지 등급도를 분석하여 스스로 학습을 조정할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 제안된 연구 내용을 정보 검색사 필기 과목에 적용하여 구현하였다.

A Study on the Complex-Channel Blind Equalization Using ITL Algorithms

  • For complex channel blind equalization, this study presents the performance and characteristics of two complex blind information theoretic learning algorithms (ITL) which are based on minimization of Euclidian distance (ED) between probability density functions compared to constant modulus algorithm which is based on mean squared error (MSE) criterion. The complex-valued ED algorithm employing constant modulus error and the complex-valued ED algorithm using a self-generated symbol set are analyzed to have the fact that the cost function of the latter forces the output signal to have correct symbol values and compensate amplitude and phase distortion simultaneously without any phase compensation process. Simulation results through MSE convergence and constellation comparison for severely distorted complex channels show significantly enhanced performance of symbol-point concentration with no phase rotation.

  • The stress induced leakage currents of thin silicon oxides is investigated in the VLSI implementation of a self learning neural network integrated circuits using a linearity synapse transistor. The channel current for the thickness dependence of stress current, transient current, and stress induced leakage currents has been measured in oxides with thicknesses between 41 ${\AA}$, 86${\AA}$, which have the channel width ${\times}$ length 10 ${\times}$1${\mu}$m, 10 ${\times}$0.3${\mu}$m respectively. The stress induced leakage currents will affect data retention in synapse transistors and the stress current, transient current is used to estimate to fundamental limitations on oxide thicknesses. The synapse transistor made by thin silicon oxides has represented the neural states and the manipulation which gaves unipolar weights. The weight value of synapse transistor was caused by the bias conditions. Excitatory state and inhitory state according to weighted values affected the channel current. The stress induced leakage currents affected excitatory state and inhitory state.

  • 정보화 사회에서 으뜸가는 정보인 육성을 위해서는 초등학교 때부터 주어진 환경에서 웹을 이용하는 클라이언트 입장에서 벗어나 직접 웹의 관리자가 되어보는 경험을 갖는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 학생들이 이용자로서의 입장에서 벗어나 자신이 관심 있는 분야에 대한 주제를 설정하여, 커뮤니티를 형성하고, 관리자의 입장에서 학습을 자율적으로 할 수 있는 기본능력을 기를 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 웹 콘텐츠를 개발하였다. 자신만의 창의적인 아이디어를 주제로 선택하고 초등학생이 쉽게 접근 할 수 있는 알맞은 운영방식을 제공함으로써, 정보를 제공받는 이용자의 입장에서 벗어나, 정보 제공하는 웹 관리자의 기본능력을 기르고자 하는데 목적을 두어 자율학습형 웹 컨텐트를 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • Neural networks are used in the framework of sensorbased tracking control of robot manipulators. They learn by practice movements the relationship between PSD ( an analog Position Sensitive Detector) sensor readings for target positions and the joint commands to reach them. Using this configuration, the system can track or follow a moving or stationary object in real time. Furthermore, an efficient neural network architecture has been developed for real time learning. This network uses multiple sets of simple backpropagation networks one of which is selected according to which division (corresponding to a cluster of the self-organizing feature map) in data space the current input data belongs to. This lends itself to a very fast training and processing implementation required for real time control.

Identification and Control of Nonlinear Systems Using Haar Wavelet Networks

  • In this paper, Haar wavelet-based neural network is described for the identification and control of discrete-time nonlinear dynamical systems. Wavelets are suited to depict functions with local nonlinearities and fast variations because of their intrinsic properties of finite support and self-similarity. Due to the orthonormal properties of Haar wavelet functions, wavelet neural networks result in a greatly simplified training problem. This wavelet-based scheme performs adaptively both the identification of nonlinear functions and the control of the overall system, while the multilayer neural network is applied to the control system just after its sufficient learning of the unknown functions. Simulation shows that the wavelet network can be a good alternative to a multilayer neural network with backpropagation.

  • This paper presents a engine/brake integrated VDC(Vehicle Dynamic Control) system using neural network algorithm methods for wheel slip and yaw rate control. For stable performance of vehicle, not only is the lateral motion control(wheel slip control) important but the yaw motion control of the vehicle is crucial. The proposed NNPI(Neural Network Proportional-Integral) controller operates at throttle angle to improve the performance of wheel slip. Also, the suggested NNPID controller performs at brake system to improve steering performance. The proposed controller consists of multi-hidden layer neural network structure and PID control strategy for self-learning of gain scheduling. Computer Simulation have been performed to verify the proposed neural network based control scheme of 17 dof vehicle dynamic model which is implemented in MATLAB Simulink.

The Development of a Program Promoting the Adjustment and its Effectiveness for School aged Children′s Hospital Life (학령기 아동의 입원생활 적응증진 프로그램 개발 및 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a program promoting adjustment to hospital life and determining its effectiveness for school aged children. Method: The sample group consisted of 76 hospitalized children in 2 University Hospitals located in Busan. The experimental group was given the program on admission and feedback was obtained on the 3rd day and again 24 hours later. Data was analyzed using t-test and ANOVA in the SPSS program package. Result: There were significant differences, in information(t=4.235, p=0.000) and coping effort criteria (t=2.922, p=0.005) between the experimental and control groups. There was a non-significant difference in attitude criteria between the two groups(t=1.009, p=0.316). Conclusion: It was found that the adjustment promoting program for hospital life for school aged children was effective, but not enough to promote self-esteem. The program, based on a learning theory, was improved and shown to be an effective and strong method to promote adjustment of school-aged children.

Facilitating Pre-Service Elementary Teachers' Productive Reflection on Their Science Teaching through Meta-Analysis of Their Reflective Journals (수업 반성 저널의 메타 분석 활동을 통한 초등 예비교사의 생산적 반성 증진)

  • In this study, the researcher aimed to increase productive reflection of pre-service elementary teachers through meta-analysis of their own reflective journals. The meta-analysis activities are expected to enhance their learning effectively as a kind of self-assesment. During 8 week simulation teaching, 26 pre-service teachers kept individual journal writing and the meta-analysis activities were implemented twice (after the 3rd and 8th week). Right after the first meta-analysis, the pre-service teachers' productive reflection increased clearly. However this would not guarantee the effect would last long time period. By analyzing 8 week reflective journals, reports on meta-analysis activities and small group interview, this study shed light on practical ways of enhancing reflective teacher education.
