또래관계와 학교적응에 어머니의 애착이 미치는 영향 및 자아개념의 매개효과 : 중국 조선족과 한국 중학생을 중심으로 (Influence of Attachment with Mother on Peer Relationships and School Adjustment Mediated by Self-Concept : Comparison of Korean-Chinese with Korean Adolescents)

  • Participants in this study of adolescents residing in differing ecological environments were 200 Korean-Chinese middle school students of Yanji, China, and 200 Korean middle school students of Gyeongbuk Province, ROK. Instruments were the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment(Armsden & Greenberg, 1987), Social Competence Inventory(Doh & Falbo, 1999), and Self-Perception Profile for Adolescents(Harter, 1988). For Korean-Chinese adolescents, attachment with mothers directly influenced peer relationships and school adjustment; indirect influence was mediated by self-concept. For Korean adolescents, attachment influenced peer relationships and school adjustment only indirectly by self-concepts. These findings contrast with those of Choi & Lee(2005) suggesting that the socio-emotional outcome of attachment should be understood in relation to socio-cultural context as well as developmental stage.

중년 사무직 근로자의 자기주도형 여가활동 경험 (Experiences in Self-leading Leisure Activities of Middle-aged Office Workers)

  • This study was to describe the process on experiences of self-leading leisure activities and develop a substantive theory that explains lifestyle in middle-aged office workers. The participants were 12 persons who had participated in self-leading leisure activities. Data were collected with in-depth interviews and analyzed by grounded theory in Strauss and Corbin. Through analyzing process, 28 concepts, 14 subcategories, and seven categories were deduced. The periods of process were divided four stages, plateau, the phage of recognition in social duties, the phage of strengthen in competency, and the phage of reconstruct in successful lifestyle. The core category, 'disclosing of self-esteem' incorporated the relationship between and among all categories and explained the process. The findings indicate that self-leading leisure activities helped to their own health and developed their social activities. Therefore, we would consider in developing health promotion program about favoring leisure activities factors for the middle age office worker.

다면적·위계적 모델을 중심으로 본 초·중학생들의 자아개념 구조 분석 (Structure of the Self-Concept of Korean Primary and Secondary School Students : Analysis by Multidimensional Hierarchical Model)

  • This study investigated the self-concepts of Korean students based on Marsh and Shavelson's(1985) multidimensional hierarchical model. Reduced forms of the Self-Description Questionnaire(SDQ)-I and -II were administered to 308 5th and 6th grade students and 718 7th to 9th grade students. Results of 2 factor analyses indicated that sub-scales 9 and 11 were well established for SDQ-I and -II, respectively, partly confirming the multidimensionality of self-concept. The factors involving distinctions between academic and non-academic higher-order factors and between the academic/math and the academic/verbal factors were not so differentiated nor hierarchically arranged as proposed by the model. These differences may be attributed to the heavy influence of the academic self-concept on the other sub-factors. A Locality ${\times}$ Sex ${\times}$ Grade ANOVA showed main effects of locality favoring urban areas and of sex favoring boys.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the relation of peer group caring interaction, Professional self-concept, and Nurses' Retention. The subjects of this study are 133 nurses who have worked for more than three months at five general hospitals with more than 300 beds in S city. As a result of the study, nurses' retenstion was higher than those of under 25 years of age between 30 and 35(F=3.313, p=.039).The professional self-concept of hospital nurses has been identified as an influence factor of intent to serve. Professional self-concepts have been shown to be better with higher peer-care and consideration(r=.397, P=.004). The peer group caring interaction behavior can occur not only between colleagues but also between managers. Therefore, it is necessary to proceed with the manager's group caring interaction as a follow-up study.

  • This paper reflects on the state of the art of two kinds of tooth hard tissue (enamel and dentin) bonding with resin cement. After presenting composition of resin cement, concepts of enamel bonding and resin bonding are addressed. Special attention is devoted to the concept and advantage of self-etching technique. Finally, recommended clinical performance regarding bonding to tooth with resin cement is summarized.

대학생이 지각한 일상생활 스트레스, 자기효능, 강인성과 건강행위와의 관계 (Relationship among Daily Life Stress, Self-Efficacy, Hardiness, and Health Behavior of University Students)

  • Purpose: This correlational study was undertaken to examine the relationship among daily life stress, self-efficacy, hardiness, and health behavior of university students. Methods: Two hundred sixty five university students were gathered from the undergraduate classes. Data were collected through self-reported question- naires which included daily life stress scale, self-efficacy scales, hardiness scales, and health behavior scales. Results: The daily life stress level had a maximum score of 4 with a mean score of 2.09 and the mean score of health behavior was 2.56. A negative correlation exists among daily life stress, self-efficacy, and health behavior. The self-efficacy is positively correlated with the health behavior. According to the hardiness factor, health behavior is positively correlated with hardiness. In the subareas, health behavior is positively correlated with control, commitment, and challenge. The self- efficacy factor was positively correlated with challenge. Conclusions: In conclusion, based onthe results of this study, both self-efficacy and hardiness are useful concepts in reducing the stress level and in increasing the health promoting behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a program based on both self-efficacy and hardiness.

포트폴리오를 활용한 과학 기반 STEAM 수업이 초등학생들의 과학 개념 형성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Science-based STEAM Program using a Portfolio on Elementary Students' Formation of Science Concepts)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of science-based STEAM program using a portfolio on elementary students' formation of science concepts and investigate students' opinion about the program. The developed program was applied to 1 experimental class(10 boys and 12 girls) and general science lessons, using a science textbook, was applied to 1 controlled class(11 boys and 13 girls) of $5^{th}$ grade students at S elementary school in Seoul through a total 6 sessions. Concept tests of the solar system were conducted before and after lessons and analysis of covariance was conducted. The results of this study were as follows. First, science-based STEAM program using a portfolio was effective to form science concepts. Second, students opinion about science-based STEAM program using a portfolio was positive. Students think the program was effective in understanding science contents, promoting thinking, self-motivation. It is expected that this study will be basic material to expand STEAM in science education.

  • This study is to analyze the works introduced in the collections of Paco Rabanne in an aim to identify formative aesthetic and design concepts. As the data to study the creative concepts and expressions of the designer, fashion photographs were gathered in a focus on collections. Paco Rabanne's fashion philosophy is to shine women who has passion, energy and self-confidence, with glittering materials. For he had a career of fashion accessary designer and architect, he tried to make his work constructively with non-sewing technology. So, his works could be divided three parts of materials which he has made creative fashion with. They are metallic, non-metallic and fabric. In metallic, design concepts are cosmos, egypt, the middle ages, modern technology. And from these the formative aesthetic were mainly characterized by the futurism, cubism and eroticism. In non-metallic, building, purism of primitiveness, nature. And from these the formative aesthetic were mainly characterized by surrealism, primitivism, romantism. In fabric, design concepts are natural phenomena, optical illusion. And from these the formative aesthetic were mainly characterized by cubism, optical art.

물리 자기효능감 측정 도구의 개발 및 적용: 자연계열 고등학생을 대상으로 (Development and Application of High School Students' Physics Self-Efficacy)

  • 사회적 인지 이론에 기반을 둔 자기효능감은 학습 맥락에서의 학생들의 학습 동기와 수행의 예측자로 강조되어 왔다. 따라서 물리 학습에 대한 자기효능감 측정 도구의 개발은 학생들의 물리학습 능력의 발달과정의 변화를 예측할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 물리 학습과 관련된 수행 능력에 대한 학생들의 믿음을 측정할 수 있는 타당도와 신뢰도가 높은 도구를 개발하는 과정을 서술하고, 한국 자연계 고등학생들의 물리 학습과 수행에 대한 자기효능감을 조사하였다. 본 연구에서는 물리 자기효능감 척도(Physics Self-Efficacy Inventory: PSEI)는 Cronbach 알파 계수와 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 신뢰도와 타당도가 검증하였다. 요인분석결과를 통해 PSEI가 네 개의 하위 영역(물리 개념의 이해와 적용, 물리 실험, 성취동기, 수학 능력)으로 구조화될 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 본 연구 결과는 한국 자연계 고등학생들이 네 영역 모두에서 비교적 높지 않은 자기효능감을 가지고 있음을 나타내었다. 개발된 측정 도구는 학생들의 물리 학습에 대한 동기, 자신감 등의 심리적 구인에 대해 이해할 수 있는 기반 자료가 될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 PSEI를 사전-사후 연구에 활용하면 학생들에 대한 자신감의 수준을 측정할 수 있어, 이러한 정보를 반영하여 학생들의 물리 개념이해를 높일 수 있는 교수-학습 전략에 대한 방안을 얻을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

유전 관련 개념에 대한 고등학생들의 비유 만들기 수업의 적용 효과 (The Effects of Applying Instruction Using High School Students' Self-Generated Analogies for Concepts in Genetics)

  • 본 연구에서는 비유 만들기 수업에 대한 효과측면, 문제점 측면, 문제점해결 방법 측면, 교사의 역할 측면의 교사들의 의견을 수렴하고 이를 바탕으로 유전 관련 개념에 대한 비유물 창안하기, 목표물과 비유물 사이의 불일치 점 찾아내기, 새롭게 알게 된 유전 개념 발표하기 단계로 비유 만들기 수업을 실시하였고, 본 수업을 통해 유전 개념에 대한 학생들의 학업 성취도와 학습동기 검사, 면담을 통하여 학생들의 비유 만들기 수업의 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 비유 개발 수업에 대한 교사들의 워크숍 결과, 생물 학습에서 유전과 관련된 개념은 학생들이 어려워하는 부분으로 이런 어려운 과학적 개념 이해를 위해 비유 만들기 수업은 긍정적인 효과가 있을 것으로 생각하였다. 학생들은 유전관련 개념에 대한 비유 소재를 일상생활에서 찾았으며, 학생들은 자신과 다른 친구들이 만든 비유물을 비교해보고 토론 과정을 거치면서 목표물과 비유물 사이의 불일치 점을 찾아내고, 유전 개념에 대한 올바른 과학 개념을 인식하게 되었다. 또한 비유 만들기 수업은 전통적 설명식 수업보다 학업 성취도 향상과 학습동기 유발에 긍정적인 효과를 미친 것으로 나타났다.
