Secure multi-party computation (MPC) has been a research focus of cryptography in resent studies. However, hiding the topology of the network in secure computation is a rather novel goal. Inspired by a seminal paper [1], we proposed a topology-hiding broadcast protocol based on NTRUEncrypt and secret sharing. The topology is concealed as long as any part of the network is corrupted. And we also illustrated the merits of our protocol by performance and security analysis.

Secure multimedia multicast applications involve group communications where group membership requires secured dynamic key generation and updating operations. Such operations usually consume high computation time and therefore designing a key distribution protocol with reduced computation time is necessary for multicast applications. In this paper, we propose a new key distribution protocol that focuses on two aspects. The first one aims at the reduction of computation complexity by performing lesser numbers of multiplication operations using a ternary-tree approach during key updating. Moreover, it aims to optimize the number of multiplication operations by using the existing Karatsuba divide and conquer approach for fast multiplication. The second aspect aims at reducing the amount of information communicated to the group members during the update operations in the key content. The proposed algorithm has been evaluated based on computation and communication complexity and a comparative performance analysis of various key distribution protocols is provided. Moreover, it has been observed that the proposed algorithm reduces the computation and communication time significantly.

Telecare Medical Information System (TMIS) helps the patients to gain the health monitoring information at home and access medical services over the mobile Internet. In 2015, Das et al proposed a secure and robust user AKA scheme for hierarchical multi-medical server environment in TMIS, referred to as DAKA protocol, and claimed that their protocol is against all possible attacks. In this paper, we first analyze and show DAKA protocol is vulnerable to internal attacks, impersonation attacks and stolen smart card attack. Furthermore, DAKA protocol also cannot provide confidentiality. We then propose a lightweight pseudonym AKA protocol for multi-medical server architecture in TMIS (short for PAKA). Our PAKA protocol not only keeps good security features declared by DAKA protocol, but also truly provides patient's anonymity by using pseudonym to protect sensitive information from illegal interception. Besides, our PAKA protocol can realize authentication and key agreement with energy-saving, extremely low computation cost, communication cost and fewer storage resources in smart card, medical servers and physical servers. What's more, the PAKA protocol is proved secure against known possible attacks by using Burrows-Abadi-Needham (BAN) logic. As a result, these features make PAKA protocol is very suitable for computation-limited mobile device.

In this paper, we are interested in a generalization of zero-knowledge interactive protocols between prover and verifier, especially to show that the product of an encrypted polynomial and a random polynomial, but published by a secure commitment scheme was correctly computed by the prover. To this end, we provide a generalized protocol for proving that the resulting polynomial is correctly computed by an encrypted polynomial and another committed polynomial. Further we show that the protocol is also secure in the random oracle model. We expect that our generalized protocol can play a role of building blocks in implementing secure multi-party computation including private set operations.

Digital fingerprinting schemes are cryptographic methods that a seller can identify a traitor who illegally redistributed digital contents by embedding it into buyer's information. Recently, Josep Domingo-Ferrer suggested an anonymous digital fingerprinting scheme based on committed oblivious transfer protocol. It is significant in the sense that it is completely specified from a computation point of view and is thus readily implementable. But this scheme has the serious problem that it cannot provide the security of buyers. In this paper, we first show how to break the existing committed oblivious transfer-based fingerprinting schemes and then suggest secure fingerprinting scheme by introducing oblivious transfer protocol with two-lock cryptosystem based on discrete logarithm. All computations are performed efficiently and the security degree is strengthened in our proposal.
A key agreement protocol is the most important part to establish a secure cryptographic system and the effort to standardize the key agreement protocols is in rapid progress. Several efficient and secure key agreement protocols have been proposed so far since Diffie-Hellman proposed a public key agreement system in 1976. But, since Diffie-Hellman based key agreement protocols need a lot of computation to establish the session key, they are not suitable for wireless Internet environment. In this paper, we propose the efficient key agreement protocol using Proxy server. The Proposed Protocol gives the security equivalent to that the Diffie-Hellman based Protocol and the computation work of mobile user can be decreased using proxy server.

The secure group communication enables the members, which belong to the same group, to communicate each other in a secure and secret manner. To do so, it is the most important that a group key is securely distributed among them and also group membership is efficiently managed. In detail, the generation, the distribution and the refreshment of a group key would be highly regarded in terms of low communication and computation complexity. In this paper, we show you a new protocol to generate a group key which will be safely shared within a group, utilizing the 2-party Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol and the complete binary tree. Our protocol has less complexity of computation per group member by substituting many parts of exponentiation computations for multiplications. Consequently, each group member needs constant computations of exponentiation and multiplication regardless of the group size in the protocol and then it has less complexity of the computation than that of any other protocols.
Recently, the security for RFID/USN environment is divided into network security and RFID security. The authentication protocol design for RFID security is studied to protect user privacy in RFID system. However, the study of efficient authentication protocol for RFID system is not satisfy a security for low-cost RFID tag and user privacy. Therefore, this paper proposes a secure matrix-based RFID authentication protocol that decrease communication overhead and computation. In result, the Matrix-based RFID authentication protocol is an effective authentication protocol compare with HB and $HB^+$ in traffic analysis attack and trace location attack.

Data sharing is an essential process for collaborative works particularly in the banking, finance and healthcare industries. These industries require many collaborative works with their internal and external parties such as branches, clients, and service providers. When data are shared among collaborators, security and privacy concerns becoming crucial issues and cannot be avoided. Privacy is an important issue that is frequently discussed during the development of collaborative systems. It is closely related with the security issues because each of them can affect the other. The tradeoff between privacy and security is an interesting topic that we are going to address in this paper. In view of the practical problems in the existing approaches, we propose a collaborative framework which can be used to facilitate concurrent operations, single point failure problem, and overcome constraints for two-party computation. Two secure computation protocols will be discussed to demonstrate our collaborative framework.

Recently, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems stands in the spotlight of industry as a common and useful tool in manufacturing, supply chain management (SCM) and stock management. In the near future, low-cost RFID Electronic Product Code; (EPC) or smart-labels may be a practical replacement for optical barcodes on consumer items. However, manufacturing cheap and small RFID tags, and developing secure RFID authentication Protocols are problems which need to be solved. In spite of advances in semiconductor technology, computation and storage ability of the tag are so limited that it is difficult and too expensive to apply existing crypto-systems to RFID tags. Thus it is necessary to create a new protocol which would require less storage space and lower computation costs and that is secure in the RFID system's environments. In this paper, we propose a RFID authentication protocol that is secure against location tracking and spoofing attacks. Our protocol can be used as a practical solution for privacy protection because it requires less computations in database than the previous RFID authentication protocol.
