The aim of the study is to propose ways to improve the break line fit of women's tailored collar vests by modifying the patternmaking process. The study explored the fit effects of experimental vests with a focus on 3 different breast sizes, A, B, and C cups. Women in the ages between 20 and 24 in South Korea were targeted. In order to carry out the objective, the study implemented separate girth measurements for the front and the back of the tailored collar vests, and also allocated different dart amounts on the lapel through the break line according to the different breast cup sizes. The study adopted a 5-point rating scale to perform evaluation of the different fit effects caused by the varying dart amounts given on the experimental vests' break lines. This evaluation was carried out by apparel pattern experts. The results derived from the study were as follows: first, the implementation of separate girth measurements provided originality to the study, as the application of different measurements for the waist back length and the neck shoulder point-to-breast point-to-waist line led to the front panels of the experimental vests having varying slack amounts. Second, break line dart was applied in three different amounts, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5cm respectively according to A, B and C breast sizes, and as the dart amount increased, extra ease on the break lines was reduced. The dart was applied on the edge lines of the lapel and it was applied from a point which was 6cm above the breast point to the end of the princess line for all the breast cup sizes.
In this study we examine the relationship between the social participation in the early adolescents and school adjustment as well as the mediating effects of a sense of community. Findings provide ways of intervention that can increase a youth's school life. Based on samples of 2,351 first grade middle school students from the data in the 'Korea Youth Panel Survey' administered by the National Youth Policy Institute, we analysed the correlation among the variables. The results are as follows. First, the social participation of youths showed a major influence on school adjustment, and was identified as: the more the students participate in social activities, the better the students get adjusted to school. Second, the social participation has a significant effect on sense of community. In other words, the more the students participate in social activities, the more the students get a sense of community. Third, a sense of community mediated the process of social participation on school adjustment. These findings indicate that in order to increase a youth's school adjustment, a promotion of social participation and an effort to increase a sense of community are required. The implications of these findings suggest that by intervening social welfare and policy, can improve the integrity of a youth's school life.
This thesis analyzed the effects of cooperative learning blended with TAI(Team Assisted Individualization) and STAD(Student Team Achievement Division) models on the students' ability of problem solving in mathematics in order to discover what kind of effects would give to their ability of that, and would promote their disposition and attitude to learn mathematics. The results of this study were as follows : First, the learning method blended with TAI and STAD models was more effective in the students' ability of problem solving in mathematics than traditional learning method because of the blended model's characteristics; positive interdependence, individual accountability, team recognition, curriculum materials. Second, the learning method blended with TAI and STAD models was more effective in sub-elements - self-confidence, adaptability, will, curiosity and value - of mathematical disposition than traditional learning method. And the learning method blended with TAI and STAD models was more effective in sub-elements - self-consciousness of mathematics and interests - of mathematical attitude than traditional learning method. In conclusion, the learning method blended with TAI and STAD models could affect to not only the students' ability of problem solving in mathematics but also the students' several affective factors.
Effects of rearing density on growth and survival of the polychaete rockworm Marphysa sanguinea have been investigated in order to develop rearing techniques for this species. This study was examined over a nine-month period in the Fisheries Science and Technology Center of Pukyong National University. Three rockworm densities, 500, 1,000 and $2,000worms{\cdot}m^{-2}$ with weight ranges of < 0.5 g, 0.6-1.5 g, and 1.6-2.5 g, and the no feed control treatment, were stocked in triplicate $0.10m^2$ boxes with sand bottoms. Growth rates were checked with 15 randomly sampled rockworms from each box at months 3, 6 and 9. Results showed that SGRs in all treatments were higher during the first period (0-3 months) than the second (3-6 months) and third periods (6-9 months) for all treatment densities, while SGRs decreased with increasing density. However, survival and growth of worms at high density was not better than low density, but daily biomass production in medium and high density groups was $6.28gm^{-2}day^{-1}$ for the rockworms of 0.6-1.5 g with $2,000inds{\cdot}m^{-2}$, and $12.6gm^{-2}day^{-1}$ for group between 1.6-2.5 g with $2,000inds{\cdot}m^{-2}$, and $14.7gm^{-2}day^{-1}$ for the group of individuals <0.5 g with $1,000inds{\cdot}m^{-2}$. Results showed that M. sanguinea can be one of the most suitable species to commercially exploit in a farming system. In particular, specified densities permit elevated pure production.
This study was conducted to test mediating effects of emotional commitment between downward benevolence and team satisfaction & team innovative behavior. The data was collected from 125 teams out of 47 organizations that are located in Seoul and KyongGi in order to achieve research purpose. The results are as follows. First, downward benevolence was positively associated with team satisfaction and team innovative behavior. Second, emotional commitment was fully mediated with the relationships between downward benevolence and team satisfaction, and team innovative behavior respectively. The implications of current studies are follows. First, downward benevolence is one of the significant variables to improve team satisfaction and innovative behavior. Such results contribute to expanding research area of downward benevolence which accounts for Korean leadership style and Korean culture.
We conducted a systematic review to summarize providers' attitudes toward pay-for-performance (P4P), focusing on their general attitudes, the effects of P4P, their favorable design and implementation methods, and concerns. An electronic search was performed in PubMed and Scopus using selected keywords including P4P. Two reviewers screened target articles using titles and abstract review and then read the full version of the screened articles for the final selections. In addition, one reference of screened articles and one unpublished report were also included. Therefore, 14 articles were included in this study. Healthcare providers' attitudes on P4P were summarized in two ways. First, we gathered their general attitudes and opinions regarding the effects of P4P. Second, we rearranged their opinions regarding desirable P4P design and implementation methods, as well as their concerns. This study showed the possibility that some healthcare providers still have a low level of awareness about P4P and might prefer voluntary participation in P4P. In addition, they felt that adequate quality indicators and additional support for implementation of P4P would be needed. Most healthcare providers also had serious concerns that P4P would induce unintended consequences. In order to conduct successful implementation of P4P, purchaser should make more efforts such as increasing providers' level of awareness about P4P, providing technical and educational support, reducing their burden, developing a cooperative relationship with providers, developing more accurate quality measures, and minimizing the unintended consequences.

The influence of the emotion of envy as a variable in the brand attitude has increased. This study validates the influence of envy types, brand awareness, and regulatory focus chronic of consumers on favorability of luxury fashion brand. This study was designed with the mixed factorial design of 2 (envy types: benign vs malicious) ${\times}$ 2 (brand awareness types: high vs low) ${\times}$ 2 (regulatory focus chronic types: promotion focus vs prevention focus). The data for this research was collected from a questionnaire distributed to 302 subjects aged between 20 and 39 in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas; consequently, a total of 275 data were analyzed. Data were analyzed with SPSS 23 program and three-way ANOVA, Simple interaction effects and simple main effects analysis were conducted. The results of this research were as follows. First, envy type and brand awareness showed significant interaction for the favorability of a luxury fashion brand. Second, envy type, brand awareness, and consumers' regulatory focus chronic showed significant interaction on the favorability of luxury fashion brand. Based on the findings, the characteristics of consumers' regulatory focus in brand attitude must be taken into consideration by luxury fashion brand marketers. The use of SNS strategies to induce emotions of benign envy through the comparisons to close acquaintances is recommended in order to raise brand preferability.
A study on the effect of diethylcarbamazine (DEC) (Supatonin) against Brugia malayi infection was conducted on Cheju Island in September 1965. A total of 182 persons living in a village of Aiwol Myun, Bukcheju-Gun was examined for microfilaraemia. Microscopic examination of smears of $20{\mu}l$ of blood revealed a microfilaria positivity rate of 28.5%. At the end of September 1965, 34 confirmed microfilaria positive cases were treated with DEC at a daily dosage of 5mg/kg body weight. A full course of 12 days of drug administration divided of two rounds for 6 days each was used. The first round of treatment was given under a strict supervision of the author in order to observe carefully side-effects of the drug. The second round of treatment was given in January 1966. The microfilaria density in $20{\mu}l$ of blood of those who received the drug was checked four times; before the treatment, during the first round of the treatment, 2 weeks and 4 months after the completion of the first round. The pre-treatment mean microfilaria density of 104.6 diminished to nearly zero (only two cases with one microfilaria respectively) 2 weeks after the first round and again slightly rose up to 0.5 four months after the first round. These results indicate that DEC (Supatonin) is highly effective to eliminate the microfilaria of B. malayi. However, severe side-effects, e.g. fever (average $38.6^{\circ}C$, maximum $39.7^{\circ}C$), headache, backache and seldom abdominal discomfort etc. were observed. There were two cases of withdrawal from the scheme due to refusal.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of high intensity intermittent training on cardiopulmonary capacity in canoe and kayak paddlers. METHODS: A total of 16 canoe and kayak paddlers were participated in this study. Experimental group(n=8) was performed high-intensity intermittent training and control group(n=8) was moderate intensity training. All subjects performed a treadmill test in order to compare the difference before and after the intervention. Finishing the test, all subjects were measured to their heart rate(HR), forced vital capacity(FVC), forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and forced expiratory ratio(FEV1/FVC). Recovery of heart rate(RHR) was calculated using the HR. HR and pulmonary flow values was measured before and during the intervention period per 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks. To compare the differences over time between experimental group and the control group, used(time${\times}$group) two-way repeated measures ANOVA. One-way repeated ANOVA was performed to determine where differences over time within-group. RESULTS: One-way repeated ANOVA revealed a significant difference in the experimental and control group. In experimental group, %RHR3min and FEV1 were significantly increased after 4 weeks(p<.05). Also, %RHR1min, FVC and FEV1/FVC were significantly increased after 6 weeks(p<.05). In control group, %RHR1min, %RHR3min, FVC, FEV1 and FEV1/FVC were significantly increased after 6 weeks(p<.05). CONCLUSION: Not only moderate training but also high-intensity intermittent training contributes to cardiopulmonary capacity in canoe and kayak paddlers. Although high-intensity intermittent training is very short time, the training has high degree of efficiency. Therefore, developed this training in the future, it will be better to improve the cardiopulmonary capacity for athletes and healthy people.

The purposes of this study are to test the learning effects of CAI in relation to the learner's locus of control and to test the interactive effects between learner's locus of control and types of learning control. In order to achieve the above purpose, a test was administered to investigate learner's locus of control to 160 First grades of J middle school located in Yosu. On the basis of the test results, the subjects who belonged to the extreme of both pole were divided into the internal and external control groups. Both groups were randomly assigned to teacher-control and learner-control types in CAI. After class, post-test on learning achievement was administered and ANOVA was employed to analyze the data. The research findings are as follows. First, as a result of learning through CAI, the learning scores of internals were shown higher than that of the external group. Second, learner-control group showed higher learning scores than teacher-control group. Third, there was not found a significant interactive effect between learner's locus of control and types of learning control of CAI.
