Purpose : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of squat, bracing and aerobic exercise on lung function, which is known to be effective for strength training, on lung function. Methods : The study was conducted with 33 students from Busan K university. Eleven students were assigned to squats, bracing, and aerobic exercise, six weeks three times a week. In order to measure lung activity, pony Fx manufactured the change amount of FVC (forced vital capacity), FEV1 (Forced expiratory volume at one second), and FEV1/FVC % (forced vital capacity/forced expiratory volume at one second) was analyzed after inputting the information of experimental group A and B controls. As a method of measurement, the difference between the three groups was analyzed using repeated ANOVA. Results : As a result of analyzing the effects of squat, bracing, and aerobic exercise for 6 weeks, all values of FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC % were increased from 0 weeks to 6 weeks except FEV1/FVC %. There was no significant difference in FVC from week 3 to week 6. In the squat, bracing, and aerobic exercise, the changes in spirometry showed that the FVC, FEV1, and FEV1/FVC % values in bracing exercise were significantly increased with time than before exercise. As a result of analyzing the changes in the spirometry of squat, bracing, and aerobic exercise, the FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC % values in the squat exercise showed statistically significant difference according to the period, but the lowest increase among the three groups. Conclusion : In conclusion, aerobic, bracing and squat exercises all had a significant impact on improving lung function. Therefore, even without aerobic exercise, squat or bracing exercise alone can be expected to improve lung function.
Purpose - Consumers perceive various risks while using food service franchise stores. Food service franchise stores offer consumers not just menus, but services, physical environment, and prices, which can be perceived as risk to consumers. This means that consumer behavior in foos service franchise stores needs to be studied based on perceived risk theory. Perceived risk consists of performance risk, financial risk, social risk, psychological risk, and time risk. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of perceived risk on satisfaction and trust, and in turn affect loyalty. The results of this study will provide guidelines for marketers to develop strategies to reduce the perceived risk of consumers. Research design, data, methodology - In order to achieve research purposes, the authors developed several hypotheses. Data were through online survey through an online survey firm. A questionnaire survey was distributed to customers who have visited the restaurant in the past three months. The survey was conducted from March 5, 2017 to October 14, 2017. A total of 1,500 people were e-mailed and 260 were returned. A total of 245 items were used in the analysis except 15 of the questionnaire. Data was analyzed by using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. Results - The findings of this study are as follows: First, performance risk, economic risk, and psychological risk had negative effects on satisfaction. Social and time risks did not affect on satisfaction. Performance risk and time risk had negative impact on trust. Second, economic, social, and psychological risks did not affect trust, but satisfaction had significant positive effect on trust and loyalty. Third, satisfaction had positive effect on loyalty. Conclusions - The implications of this study are as follows. First, food service franchise marketers should increase their customer loyalty by establishing a risk reduction strategy. Second, there are various risks to customers visiting the store. Therefore, marketers need to analyze the perceived risks of customers. Third, it is also necessary to eliminate the perceived risks of customers. In addition, a restaurant franchise company needs to find a reasonable way to reduce the material cost and present a reasonable menu price.
The modern convenient life formed by industrial development becomes lack of exercise and takes an interest in diet. Specially, professional walking shoes is developed as people take an interest in jogging, Those shoes, professional walking shoes or Dietshoes, increase exercise effects by change of heel types. Therefore, this study investigated motility effects by EMG experiment in order to measure Muscle Activities (MA) while wearing diet shoes (backless). Experiment was conducted by EMG measurement, from calf (gastrocnemius muscle), thigh (vastus muscle) and waist (erector spinae muscle), of 12 high school students. Exercise effects between the two shoes were analyzed by EMG (MF; Median Frequency, MPF; Mean Power Frequency, ZCR; Zero Crossing Rate). Results showed that the Dietshoes(MF: 48.21Hz, MPF: 65.0Hz, ZCR: 100.6Hz) had larger EMG value than that of Normal shoes(MF: 40.47Hz, MPF: 58.04Hz, ZCR: 82.09Hz). Also, in MA, the highest activities are showed in the calf, the second one is in waist, and last one is in thigh during gate. ANOVA between shoes in measurement parts showed significant effects in MF (gastrocnemius: p-value=.022, vastus laterals: p-value=.037, erector spinae: p-value=.082), MPF (gastrocnemius: p-value=.032, vastus laterals: p-value=.046, erector spinae: p-value=.090), and ZCR (gastrocnemius: p-value=.000, vastus laterals: p-value=.004, erector spinae: p-value=.134). And MA of Dietshoes is higher than that of Normal shoes, and decreasing rate of MA in Dietshoes is less than that of Normal shoes. Thus, this study validates exercise effects of Dietshoes.
This study, we analyzed the following in order to verify the effects of depression on suicidal ideation. First, correlations among depression, family solidarity and suicide variables were analysed. Second, the hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to examine the effects of suicidal ideation. Third, family solidarity Sobel-test was performed to investigate whether family solidarity mediates the link between depression and suicidal ideation. The data used in the study comes from the survey conducted by Hallym Aging Research Institute in 2014. Through stratified multi-stage random sampling, 2,034 individuals aged 65 and over and living in Chun-cheon city were analysed. The result with depression and family solidarity together shows the higher the level of depression is, the more suicide ideation is. which means depression has a direct impact on suicide ideation. In addition, it indicates the higher family solidarity is, the less suicide ideation is. Sobel-test which examines indirect effects of depression on suicidal ideation through family solidarity produces a statistically meaningful result. The result is family solidarity mediates the link between depression and suicidal ideation.
This study aimed to identify the effects of fashion brand extensions types, preannouncing and consumers' regulatory focus on preference towards extension products. To that end, the study used a 2 (fashion brand extension types: similar vs. non-similar) ${\times}2$ (preannouncing: near preannouncing vs. far preannouncing) ${\times}2$ (regulatory focus: promotion focus vs. prevention focus) three mixed elements. The subjects of the study were 280 men and women in their 20~40s living in Seoul and Chungnam province and total of 229 data were analyzed. Data were analysed with SPSS 19.0 program and three-way ANOVA, simple interaction effects and simple main effects analysis were conducted. The results of this study are as follows: First there were significant differences in preference based on fashion brand extension types and preannouncing. Second, there were significant interaction effects in preference between extension types of fashion brand and regulatory focus. But there was no difference in preference toward extension products according to types of preannouncing and regulatory focus. Lastly, fashion brand extension types, preannouncing and regulatory focus showed significant interaction effects on preference. Thus even in cases of non-similar brand extensions which carry more risk of failing, the appropriate marketing communication strategies such as preannouncing will result in brand preference. Also marketing activities should be comprehensive and strategical based on consumers' tendencies in order to derive positive evaluations.
