We use humorous expression in general dialogue. And this humor os especially good methods for expressing more creative and persuasive thoughts. If could not effective data for developing expression techniques, because most of the studies on humor focused on advertising, especially effectiveness for product purchase until now. So, we need the data objectively tested and we can use the data for persuasive, agreeable and effective communication. This study presents new expression methods with humor, classifies the expression type with humor and analyses the specific characters each type. It was as follows. first, which expression types are existing in typography with humor, and how to apply to typography. Second, how to change the propensity to perceive through the communication method and through types of humor Third, what is more effective between typogratphy with humor and typography without humor Miore study based on this must be followed in order to plan objective and agreeable design and improve communication effects.

This study divided 35 hemiplegia patients into control group having standard physical therapy and gait training and functional electrical stimulation(FES) group using FES during gait training in order to examine the effects of applying FES to ankle joint dorsiflexor on motor unit action potential. Stimulation conditions of FES were pulse rate 35 pps, pulse width $250{\mu}s$, and on-time 0.3 second, treatment hour was 30 min. and treatment period was once a day for five days a week through six weeks. For functional evaluations before and after treatment, root mean square(RMS) were measured and the following conclusions were obtained. : In RMS analysis of motor unit action potential, gastrocnemius was significantly reduced in both weight bearing(p<.001) and bearing condition (p<.05). In conclusion, application of FES to hemiplegia patients in recovery stage during gait training decreased RMS and it was interpreted that it was caused by mitigation of muscular spasticity by reduction of motor unit.

The purpose of this study is to examine the present problems relating to the legislation and execution of adornment of buildings in the provinces, and to explore ways to improve the role and function of adornment of buildings in terms of public art. In order to do that, the related national law and enforcement decree and the local regulations and rules were analysed. In addition the catalogues on the adornments of buildings that are managed by 31 cities and counties of Gyeonggi-Province were also compared and analysed. As a result of our survey, it has been determined that the reform of the adornments of buildings must be executed on the national and local levels. On the local level, the revision of regulations must occur simultaneously with the changes of national law and enforcement decrees. In many local self-governing bodies, there are quite a lot of discrepancies between their regulations and the upper law. Therefore, people can be confused regarding the sensitive problems such as the types of buildings that are required to display adornments and the proportion of the cost to the construction cost. In addition the effects of the improvements to national laws are often delayed. For example, the updated national law requires committee members to be appointed on the basis of merit, the announcement of the deliberation results, and the establishment of provisions regarding the management of existing structures. Unfortunately, improvements to the national law are not followed through on a local level. Concerning national legislation, the following improvements are necessary to minimize these problems. First, the western concept of‘public art’must be imported to Korea and applied to future legislation regarding adornment of buildings. Second, the perception of the purpose of adornment of buildings must be changed from‘art promotion’to‘improvement of the urban environment’Third, it is impractical to require private citizens to fund public worts of In. Korea requires an organized federal funding system for the commission of public art, which is to be controlled by committee. Finally, the definition of public artwork must be enlarged to include a more broad range of art, such as landscape architecture. In addition, continuing care of existing public worts of art must be managed systematically and strengthened.
Mouse mammary epithelial cells(NMuMG) were maintained onto 6-well plates (3$\times$105 cells/well) or chambered slide (1$\times$104 cells/well), in DMEM supplemented with 10% fetal calf serum. After serum starvation for 24 hours, DMNB (1$\mu$M) was added and exposed to UV light (300nm, 3 second pulse) after 2 hours from DMNB addition in order to activate DMNB which induces a rapid transient increase in intracellular cAMP upon UV irradiation. EGF (100ng/ml) and/or IGF-I (10ng/ml) were treated at the time of UV irradiation. Nuclear labeling index was estimated as percent of nuclear labeled cells(percent of S phase of cells) by incorporation of 3H-thymidine into DNA(1 hour pulse with 1$\mu$Ci/ml). DMNB(1$\mu$M), EGF (100ng/ml) and/or IGF-I (10ng/ml) signifciantly increased nuclear labeling index than those of control (P<0.05). Addition of DMNB+EGF or DMNB+EGF+IGF-I showed the interaction effect in nuclear labeling index (P<0.05). Protein kinase A activities by addition of EGF, IGF-I or EGF+IGF-I were 10.5, 9.8 or 9.4 unit/mg protein, respectively, and no statistical difference was found in comparison with control (P>0.05). Additon of DMNB+EGF showed the moderate interaction effect on tyrosyl kinase activity (P<0.1). In the fluorography analysis, there were no specific protein phosphorylation patterns were found at 1 or 15 minute by addition of DMNB. EGF and/or IGF-I. These results suggest that the interaction effect in nuclear labeling index by addition DMNB and EGF could be mediated through the modulation of tyrosyl kinase activity by cAMP.
The purpose of this study was to identify a determent of mastery approach goal and performance approach goal using a basic concept of goal orientations and goal setting theory, and to evaluate a preference of goal achievement index as a balance score card (BSC). The study model proposed had a adoptable level of goodness of fit index(.94) and root mean square residual(.08). The meditating variable, goal contribution, totally mediated the impact of goal commitment, Y-theory human behavior, and self-efficacy but organizational resource contribution for pursuing goal orientation. Moreover, goal contribution significantly determined mastery approach goal(p<.01) and performance approach goal(.05). In standardized effects, the most powerful antecedent of mastery approach goal and performance approach goal were in order of organizational resource contribution(.27/.28), goal contribution(.21/.17), self-efficacy(.07/.06), and Y -theory human behavior and goal commitment(.05/.05), respectively. Moreover, goal contribution had a more powerful impact on mastery approach goal(.21) rather than performance approach goal(.17). In the preference of BSC, all job types preferred learning and growth index in first. In the second preference, medical doctors and pharmacists chose financial results, nurses customer service, and office managers internal processes. Each job type reflected its' own preferred BSC index to that of the other job types. In comparing a preference of four BSC index of each own job type, it was statistically different at p<.001. In conclusion, one who emphasize organizational goal contribution in pursuing goal orientation has a more strong orientation toward mastery approach goal rather than performance approach goal. A hospital should overcome and harmonize the different preferences of four BSC index since the differences might cause organizational conflicts among job types with having each unique professional norm.
The Purpose of this study is to find the effects of the portfolio assessment on elementary students' scientific knowledge, inquiry process skill, scientific attitudes in the teaching of science. And finally the parents' response to the portfolio assessment is also investigated. In order to reach the goal of this study, the investigator developed the evaluation instrument such as an experimental report and a cumulative observation sheet for the 4th-grade Unit-1 'Light Propagation' and Unit-3 'Separating Mixtures', and then these were administered to 42 4th-grade elementary students in Inchon. Based upon the findings and within the limitations of this study, several conclusions can be drawn regarding the problems investigated. First, as the portfolio assessment offers enough information about individual student's performance, it has a highly positive effect on evaluating the students' scientific knowledges. It can also make possible to grasp the several aspects of the student's progress. Second, the portfolio assessment can be implemented without giving students any psychological pressure from testing itself. Therefore, the portfolio assessment is an effective means of appraising inquiry process skills. Third, the portfolio assessment is effective to evaluate the students' attitude toward science by means of individual records which include such aspects that is hardly found by the teacher who teaches science in the class. Fourth, as most parents showed a positive response to this portfolio assessment, it is considered to be effective method of appraising the result of teaching science at elementary school. Accordingly, this study demonstrated that the portfolio assessment is an effective method that can assess students' scientific knowledges, inquiry process skills, and scientific attitudes gained from science teaching-learning. Therefore, it is necessary to implement the portfolio assessment to other grade students as well in the following study where teacher may give more encouragements and suggestions to sti dents for the better learning motives. Also teachers should suggest more definite evaluation criteria to students so that they may improve the students' self and peer evaluation skills.
In order to investigate the healing effect on inflammation and bone regeneration of low power density laser radiation in dogs, experimental periodontitis was made in dog mandibular 3rd, 4th premolars. All teeth were classified with four groups of two experimental group and control groups. The second group were irradiated on periodontitis site and the first group were control. The fourth group were irradiated on periodontitis site flap operation and the third group were flap control. Experimental groups were irradiated with GaAs low power density laser of pulse wave and continuous wave of 904nm every day by five days respectively and then control group and experimental groups were evaluated by histo-pathological study. The results were as follows : 1. Experimental periodontits site of dog were irradiated with GaAs low power laser results in reducing of pseudoepitheliomatous proliferation and inflammation at light microscope. 2. After irradiation with low power density laser, experimental groups were revealed that PDL forming activity were increased and newly formed collagen deposition were observed. 3. Low power density lsaer irradiation on experimental periodontits site after flap operation showed that decreasing of inflammation, reducing of osteoclast activity. Capillary proliferation, reduction of pseudoepitheliomatous proliferation. 4. After irradiation with low power density laser on flap experimental site, experimental groups were revealed that newly formed collagen in periodontal ligament and alveolar bone were detected on MT staining.
The current hierarchical model of galaxy formation predicts that galaxy halos contain merger relics in the form of long stellar streams. In order to find stellar substructures in galaxy, we focused our investigation on the stellar spatial density around globular clusters and on the quantitative properties of the evolved sequences in the color-magnitude diagrams (CMDs). First, we investigated the spatial configuration of stars around five metal-poor globular clusters in halo region (M15, M30, M53, NGC 5053, and NGC 5466) and one metal-poor globular cluster in bulge region (NGC 6626). Our findings indicate that all of these globular clusters show strong evidence of extratidal features in the form of extended tidal tails around the clusters. The orientations of the extratidal features show the signatures of tidal tails tracing the clusters' orbits and the effects of dynamical interactions with the galaxy. These features were also confirmed by the radial surface density profiles and azimuthal number density profiles. Our results suggest that these six globular clusters are potentially associated with the satellite galaxies merged into the Milky Way. Second, we derived the morphological parameters of the red giant branch (RGB) from the near-infrared CMDs of 12 metal-poor globular clusters in the Galactic bulge. The photometric RGB shape indices such as colors at fixed magnitudes, magnitudes at fixed colors, and the RGB slope were measured for each cluster. The magnitudes of the RGB bump and tip were also estimated. The derived RGB parameters were used to examine the overall behavior of the RGB morphology as a function of cluster metallicity. The behavior of the RGB shape parameters was also compared with the previous observational calibration relation and theoretical predictions of the Yonsei-Yale isochrones. Our results of studies for stellar spatial distribution around globular clusters and the morphological properties of RGB stars in globular clusters could add further observational evidence of merging scenario of galaxy formation.

In this paper, we extract the parasitic elements of the transmission line with the defected ground structure(DGS) and the short-circuited comb line section using the Short-Open Calibration(SOC). The scattering matrixes of short, open and the distributed elements in microstrip line are measured by full electro-magnetic(EM) simulator and Vector Network Analyser(VNA). The electro-magnetic effects of the proposed structures are considered by the II and T equivalent circuits with frequency independent elements, and the relations between the measured scattering parameters and the elements in the circuits are shown by performing 2 port network analysis. Moreover, to design the 2.4 GHz bandpass filter with second order butterworth prototype, the proposed methods are applied. As results, the measured $S_{11}$ and $S_{21}$ indicate -20 dB and -1.3 dB at center frequency, and these are shown within 5 % error compare to the predicted results at $0.5{\sim}5\;GHz$.
