Structural and Dielectric Properties of Pb(zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 Thick Films Fabricated using a Screen Printing Technologies

  • [ $Pb(Zr_{0.2}Ti_{0.8})O_3$ ] powders, prepared by the sol-gel method, were mixed with an organic vehicle and the PZT thick films were fabricated by the screen-printing techniques on Pt/alumina substrates. The structural and dielectric properties were examined as a function of sintering temperature. The particle size distribution of the powder is bimodal with the mean particle size of about $1.2\;{\mu}m$. The average grain size of the PZT thick films sintered above $1000^{\circ}C$ was about $3.1\;{\mu}m$ and the thickness of the specimens was approximately $41\;{\mu}m$. The relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the thick films sintered at $1050^{\circ}C$ were 337 and $1.24\%$, respectively.

  • 본 연구에서는 스크린 인쇄 방법을 이용하여 무기 전계발광 소자를 제작하였다. 발광층은 녹색 형광체인 ZnS : Cu, Al을 사용하고, 전도성 재료로 잘 알려진 graphene를 첨가하여 EL 소자의 발광 휘도 및 효율을 향상시키고자 하였다. Graphene의 농도증가에 따라 PL 휘도는 다소 감소하였으나, EL 발광 효율의 증가를 확인하였으며, 0.6 wt% 첨가에서 가장 높은 휘도를 나타냈다.

  • Thermoelectric thick film was fabricated by screen printing process with using p-type Bi-Te-Sb powders. The powder was synthesized by melting, milling and sintering process and hydrogen reduced to enhance the thermoelectric property. The thick film of Bi-Te-Sb powder was fabricated by screen printing method and baked at the optimized conditions. The thermal conductivity, the electrical resistivity and Seeback coefficient of thick film were measured and the thermoelectric performance was analyzed in terms of film characteristics and its microstructure. Finally, the feasibility of thermoelectric thick film into micro cooling device on CPU chip was discussed in this study.

실리콘 태양전지 투명전극용 스크린 프린팅을 이용한 구리 도금 전극 패터닝 형성 (Formation of Copper Electroplated Electrode Patterning Using Screen Printing for Silicon Solar Cell Transparent Electrode)

  • Copper electroplating and electrode patterning using a screen printer are applied instead of lithography for heterostructure with intrinsic thin layer(HIT) silicon solar cells. Samples are patterned on an indium tin oxide(ITO) layer using polymer resist printing. After polymer resist patterning, a Ni seed layer is deposited by sputtering. A Cu electrode is electroplated in a Cu bath consisting of $Cu_2SO_4$ and $H_2SO_4$ at a current density of $10mA/cm^2$. Copper electroplating electrodes using a screen printer are successfully implemented to a line width of about $80{\mu}m$. The contact resistance of the copper electrode is $0.89m{\Omega}{\cdot}cm^2$, measured using the transmission line method(TLM), and the sheet resistance of the copper electrode and ITO are $1{\Omega}/{\square}$ and $40{\Omega}/{\square}$, respectively. In this paper, a screen printer is used to form a solar cell electrode pattern, and a copper electrode is formed by electroplating instead of using a silver electrode to fabricate an efficient solar cell electrode at low cost.

스크린 프린팅법으로 제작한 BSCT 후막의 구조적 특성과 유전적 특성 (Structural and dielectric properties of the BSCT thick films fabricated by the screen printing method)

  • The barium strontium calcium titanate powders were prepared by sol-gel method. Ferroelectric $(Ba_{0.54}Sr_{0.36}Ca_{0.1})TiO_3$(BSCT) thick films were fabricated by the screen-printing method on alumina substrate. And we investigated the structural and dielectric properties of BSCT thick films with the variation of sintering temperature. As a result of thermal analysis, BSCT polycrystalline perovskite phase was formed at around $660^{\circ}C$. The results of X-ray diffraction analysis were showed a cubic perovskite structure without presence of the second phase in all BSCT thick films. The average grain size and the thickness of the specimen sintered at $1450^{\circ}C$ were about 1.6 mm and 45 mm, respectively. The relative dielectric constant increased and the dielectric loss decreased with increasing the sintering temperature, the values of the BSCT thick films sintered at $1450^{\circ}C$ were 5641 and 0.4% at 1kHz, respectively.

결정질 실리콘 태양전지의 효율 향상을 위한 다층 전면 전극 형성 (Multi-layer Front Electrode Formation to Improve the Conversion Efficiency in Crystalline Silicon Solar Cell)

  • Resistance of the front electrode is the highest proportion of the ingredients of the series resistance in crystalline silicon solar cell. While resistance of the front electrode is decreased with larger area, it induces the optical loss, causing the conversion efficiency drop. Therefore the front electrode with high aspect ratio increasing its height and decreasing is necessary for high-efficiency solar cell in considering shadowing loss and resistance of front electrode. In this paper, we used the screen printing method to form high aspect ratio electrode by multiple printing. Screen printing is the straightforward technology to establish the electrodes in silicon solar cell fabrication. The several printed front electrodes with Ag paste on silicon wafer showed the significantly increased height and slightly widen finger. As a result, the resistance of the front electrode was decreased with multiple printing even if it slightly increased the shadowing loss. We showed the improved electrical characteristics for c-Si solar cell with repeatedly printed front electrode by 0.5%. It lays a foundation for high efficiency solar cell with high aspect ratio electrode using screen printing.

패드 인쇄 기법을 이용하여 곡면상에 구현된 PEMS 디바이스 (Pad Printed PEMS Device Printed on a Curved Surface)

  • This paper presents the electro-luminescence (EL) display lamp which is patterned on a curved surface by the pad printing method. The printing methods, including the gravure, screen, flexo, inkjet, and pad printing, have an advantage of one-step direct patterning. However, in general, the printing and semi-conductor process, except pad printing method, cannot be applied for patterning on a curved surface. Thus, in this paper, we used pad printing method for patterning an EL display lamp on a curved surface. The EL display lamp consists of 5 layers: Bottom electrode; Dielectric layer; Phosphor; Transparent electrode; Bus electrode. Finally, we printed EL display lamp on a dish, which has a radius of curvature 80mm. The EL display lamp was driven at AC 200V of 1kHz.

코팅원지 및 바인더가 코팅지의 인쇄적성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Base Paper and Binder on the Printability of Coated Paper)

  • A color halftoning is the process of generating halftone images for the different color plans, for example, cyan, magenta, yellow, and black for a offset printing device. A conventional halftone technique, so called AM screening, is simple and easy to implement, but the halftoned dot patterns by using this method is not free for the moire` fringe. Moire` patterns are caused the power spectrum distribution on low spatial frequency domain. To avoid Moire` patterns, the conventional screen require the different screen angles for each color plans. Recently, Ultra-fine and 7 color printing methods are developed to expend the color gamut. In 7 color printing method must be used the halftone technique of random and blue noise characteristic to avoid Moire` fringe.

스크린 프린팅 기법을 이용한 눈부심 방지 기술 개발 (Development of Anti-Glare Coating Technique Using Screen Printing)

  • 본 논문에서는 옥외용 디스플레이의 눈부심 방지 강화유리 생산 방법을 제안하였다. 일반적으로 옥외용 디스플레이를 위한 커버글라스의 주요 사양은 내강도와 눈부심 방지이다. 내강도는 커버글라스를 고온로에서 열처리한 강화유리를 사용하여 그 요구 사양을 만족시키고 눈부심 방지를 위해서는 AG(Anti-Glare)필름을 강화 유리에 접착하여 주로 사용한다. 그러나 필름 형태의 눈부심 방지기술은 PET 필름자체의 내마모성이 3H정도로 취약하여 AG 성능이 지속적으로 유지되기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 AG 필름이 가지는 내구성의 단점을 보완하고 기존 강화유리 생산 공정을 이용하는 눈부심 방지 기술을 제안하였다. 제안된 눈부심 방지 코팅은 ZBS ($ZnO-B_2O_3-SiO_2$) 분말을 유리 표면에 도포하고 강화공정을 수행하여 내구 강도와 눈부심 방지 성능을 높일 수 있도록 하였다. ZBS 분말을 유리 표면에 도포하기 위해서는 스크린 프린팅 공정을 이용하여 분말이 유리표면에 균일하게 도포되도록 하였다. 스크린 프린팅 시 고려되어야 하는 주요 변수는 분말을 희석하기 위한 오일의 농도와 메쉬 오프닝 사이즈이다. 이 두 변수의 설정에 따라 스크린 프린팅 공정에서 도포되는 ZBS 분말의 양이 조절되므로 이에 대한 상관관계를 실험을 통해 규명하였다. 제안된 제조 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 상업용 시장에서 널리 사용되는 haze, 표면 거칠기 및 투과도를 성능 지표로 선정하였고 눈부심 방지를 위해 일반적으로 사용되는 AG필름과 비교하여 그 성능을 검증하였다. 비교 결과 제안된 제조 방법에 의한 강화유리의 투과도는 AG필름의 89.5%보다 다소 감소한 83.1%이지만 막강도는 7H로 두배 이상 향상됨을 확인하였다.
