  • 한국형발사체개발을 위하여 소형연소시험장을 개량하였다. 개량된 시험설비는 7톤급 연소기 개발에 활용될 예정이며, 이를 통해 획득한 자료와 시험평가 절차와 시험기법을 토대로 고성능 로켓엔진 개발에 활용될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 7톤급 축소형 연소기 시험을 위해 개량된 시험설비에 대해 기술하였다.

A Smooth Goodness-of-fit Test Using Selected Sample Quantiles

  • A new test for goodness-of-fit is presented. It is a modification of a test of LaRiccia (1991). These tests are applicable to continuous lo-cation/scale models. The new test statistic is based on a few selected order statistics taken from the sample, while the LaRiccia test is based directly on the full sample. Each test embeds the hypothesized model in a larger linear model and proceeds to test the goodness-of-fit hy-pothesis by testing the coefficients of this linear model appropriately. The general theory is presented. The tests are compared via computer simulation to a related test of Ali and Umbach (1989) for distributions that could be used as lifetime models. An important aspect of all these tests is that only standard $X_2$ tables are used. Selection of the spacings of the order statistics is discussed.

압밀시험의 수치해석에 의한 MCC 모델과 SSC 모델 비교 (Comparison of MCC and SSC Models Based on Numerical Analysis of Consolidation Test)

  • In order to integrate two consolidation theories of Terzaghi's consolidation theory and Mesri's secondary compression theory and to identify a model suitable for analyzing stress-strain behavior over time, numerical analysis on consolidation tests were conducted using a modified cam-clay model and a soft soil creep model and the following conclusions were obtained. The results of numerical analysis applying the theory that a linear proportional relationship is established between the void ratio at logarithmic scale and the permeability coefficient at logarithmic scale is better agreement with the result of oedometer test than the results of applying constant hydraulic conductivity. The modified cam-clay model is a model that does not include secondary compression, but the slope of the normal consolidation line corresponding to the compression index of the standard consolidation test includes secondary compression, so the actual settlement curve over time is lower than the predicted value through numerical analysis. It always gets smaller. Other previous studies that applied Terzaghi's consolidation theory to consolidation test analysis showed the same results and were cross-confirmed. The soft soil creep model, which includes secondary compression in the theory, showed good agreement in all sections including secondary compression in the consolidation test results. It was judged appropriate to use a soft soil creep model when performing numerical analysis of soft clay ground.

Friction correction for model ship resistance and propulsion tests in ice at NRC's OCRE-RC

  • This paper documents the result of a preliminary analysis on the influence of hull-ice friction coefficient on model resistance and power predictions and their correlation to full-scale measurements. The study is based on previous model-scale/full-scale correlations performed on the National Research Council - Ocean, Coastal, and River Engineering Research Center's (NRC/OCRE-RC) model test data. There are two objectives for the current study: (1) to validate NRC/OCRE-RC's modeling standards in regarding to its practice of specifying a CFC (Correlation Friction Coefficient) of 0.05 for all its ship models; and (2) to develop a correction methodology for its resistance and propulsion predictions when the model is prepared with an ice friction coefficient slightly deviated from the CFC of 0.05. The mean CFC of 0.056 and 0.050 for perfect correlation as computed from the resistance and power analysis, respectively, have justified NRC/OCRE-RC's selection of 0.05 for the CFC of all its models. Furthermore, a procedure for minor friction corrections is developed.

화강풍화토에서 Scale Effect를 고려한 기초의 지지력 및 침하량 산정에 관한 연구 (A Research for Computation of Bearing Capacity and Settlement of Foundation Considering Scale Effect in Weathered-granite Layer)

  • 지내력기초 설계와 시공을 위해 실시하는 평판재하시험 결과로부터 실제 기초지반의 지지력 및 침하량을 산정할때 scale effect를 고려해야 하는데 국내에는 scale effect 적용기준이나 관련 시험자료가 없다. 그래서, 화강풍화토 지반에서 재하판 크기별 지지력 및 침하량의 상관관계를 파악하기 위해 모형토조 및 현장 평판재하시험을 실시하였다. 토조시험은 토조내에 지층을 형성한후 함수비 조건, 다짐횟수, 습윤 단위중량, 및 재하판 직경(D15, 25cm)별로 모형토조$(2,000\times 2,000\times 1,000mm)$에서 실시하였다. 현장 재하시험은 재하판 직경$(D15, 25, 30, 40, 75\times 75, 140\times 210cm)$별로 실시하였다. 재하시험 결과분석과 수치해석을 통해 토사 및 암반지반에서 지내력 기초설계시 Scale effect를 계산하기 위한 지지력 및 침하량 산정식을 제시하였다.

Comparison of Powers in Goodness of Fit Test of Quadratic Measurement Error Model

  • Whether to use linear or quadratic model in the analysis of regression data is one of the important problems in classical regression model and measurement error model (MEM). In MEM, four goodness of fit test statistics are available In solving that problem. Two are from the derivation of estimators of quadratic MEM, and one is from that of the general $k^{th}$-order polynomial MEM. The fourth one is derived as a variation of goodness of fit test statistic used in linear MEM. The purpose of this paper is to find the most powerful test statistic among them through the small-scale simulation.

아지무스 추진기 캐비테이션 시험 장치 개발 및 캐비테이션 성능 연구 (Azimuth Thruster Cavitation Test Apparatus Development and Cavitation Performance Study)

  • In order to investigate cavitation performance for the azimuth thruster in Large Cavitation Tunnel (LCT), the cavitation test apparatus was designed and manufactured. Generally the model scale is determined by the pod dynamometer with about 70mm diameter. Recently as ships with azimuth thruster have become bigger, the problem of the model ship installation was occurred. The model ship with pod dynamometer couldn't be installed in the LCT test section. The cavitation test apparatus and technique which can conduct the cavitation test without pod dynamometer were developed. The cavitation tests were conducted in torque identity method instead of thrust identity method. The target ship with azimuth thruster is 18K LNG bunkering vessel. As the full-scale ship test was conducted, the model cavitation tests were conducted at the same operating conditions. The fluctuating pressure levels of the full-scale ship were compared to those of the model tests. Another model cavitation test was conducted in the foreign institute and the cavitation observation results were compared to those of LCT. Through the comparison with the existing results, it is thought that the cavitation test for the azimuth thruster can be conducted in torque identity method.

근접굴착 시 벽체에 선행하중 재하에 따른 터널의 거동 (Behavior of tunnel under the influence of pre-loading on braced wall during the adjacent ground excavation)

  • 기존터널에 근접 굴착 할 때 발생하는 흙막이벽체의 수평변위를 억제시키기 위해 버팀대에 선행하중을 가했다. 이러한 목적으로 흙막이벽체에 큰 선행하중을 가할 수 있는 새로운 선행하중 시스템을 모형시험에 적용하였다. 대형 시험은 폭 2.0m, 높이 6.0m, 길이 4.0m인 모형 토조에서 수행하였고 시험지반은 모래로 조성하였다. 직경 1.2m인 모형 터널은 시험지반 굴착 전에 설치하고 지반을 조성한 후에 모형터널에 근접해서 흙막이벽체를 설치하고 시험지반을 굴착하면서 모형 터널과 흙막이벽체 및 지반의 거동을 측정하였다. 이때에 선행하중 재하효과를 확인하기 위하여 선행하중을 가하지 않는 시험은 물론 선행하중을 가하여 흙막이벽체의 수평변위를 억제하는 시험을 실시하였고 수치해석을 실시하여 대형 시험결과와 비교하였다. 그 결과 선행하중을 설계축력 이상으로 적용시켜 흙막이벽체의 수평변위를 감소시켰을 때 벽체 배면에 있는 기존 터널의 안정성이 크게 향상되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The past bridge design specifications of Korea didn't include 1imitation on the amount of lap splices in the plastic hinge zone of piers, and so do current specifications. But these specifications include just limitation on the minimal length of lap splices. Thus, a large majority of non-seismically designed bridge piers may have lap splices in plastic hinge zone. In this study, model pier was selected among existent bridge piers whose failure mode is complex shear-flexure mode. Full scaled RC pier models whose aspect ratio is about 2.67 were constructed and quasi static test according to the drift level history was implemented. From the test results, effect of the lap splices on the seismic performance of bridges piers was analyzed, and the seismic capacity of the model bridges was evaluated by capacity spectrum method.

4인승 선미익기 구조해석 (Structural Analysis for 4-Seater Canard Airplane)

  • 본 논문에서는 4인승 선미익 항공기에 대한 구조해석 절차와 전기체 시험결과를 소개하였다. 전기체 유한요소모델 구축은 항공기 구조해석 시 중요한 업무이며 구조적 안전성에 직접적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 구축된 유한요소모델은 전기체 시험결과를 이용하여 정밀하게 보정된다. 구조해석 결과를 이용하여 5가지의 설계제한하중 시험조건과 11가지의 설계 극한하중 시험조건을 결정하였다. 소개된 절차를 이용하여 4인승 선미익 항공기의 구조적 안전성을 성공적으로 확보하였다.
