The Relationships among Brand Assets, Customer Satisfaction, Brand Trust, and Brand Loyalty related to Golf Products

  • Purpose - In this study, it investigates the relationship among brand asset, customer satisfaction, brand trust, and brand loyalty related to golf products. Research design and methodology - The study was conducted with 500 customers from five indoor and outdoor golf training centers located in Seoul, South Korea. The method of tabulation was developed using a nonprobability convenience sampling and the questionnaire was administered through self-administration. The survey was conducted on-site between July 2018 and August 2018 by four trained researchers, including the researchers. Five indoor golf training centers in Seoul were randomly selected, and a total of 500 samples were collected by radio at each training site. Of the 500 questionnaires collected, 449 were utilized once incomplete questionnaires were removed from the sample. Results - This study was as follows. First, brand asset was a significant predictor of customer satisfaction. Second, customer satisfaction was a significant predictor of brand asset. Third, customer satisfaction was a significant predictor of brand loyalty. Fourth, brand trust was a significant predictor of brand loyalty. Fifth, brand asset was a significant predictor of brand trust. Finally, brand trust was a significant predictor of brand loyalty. Conclusions - First, the results showed that brand assets had a significant impact on customer satisfaction. Second, customer satisfaction was shown to have a significant effect on brand trust. Third, customer satisfaction had a significant effect on brand loyalty.

The Impact of Service Quality, Satisfaction, Trust on Customer Loyalty for Mobile Operators in Nigeria

  • Purpose - This paper examines the major antecedents of customer loyalty for mobile operators in a developing country in Africa especially in Nigeria. This study tests 5 hypotheses about the relationships among service quality, customer satisfaction, trust, and customer loyalty. Research design and methodology - In order to collect the sample data, online survey was conducted via email and social media network. The samples were collected from 415 random respondents. The statistical analyses were done for both assessing the reliability and the validity and testing 5 hypotheses of this study. SPSS version 21 was used for empirical analysis. Results - Service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction and service quality has a significant effect on trust also. Customer satisfaction has a significant effect on trust and customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer loyalty also. Trust has a significant effect on customer loyalty. All of 5 hypotheses were supported. Conclusions - The results of the study show that it is important for marketing managers to manage service quality, customer satisfaction, and trust for improving customer loyalty in mobile service industry. This study also provides some implications for mobile service managers about the importance of customer retention and customer loyalty.

  • The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between website environmental characteristics (website characteristics, user characteristics, and external environments), satisfaction, trust and loyalty in tourism e-business. The following results were determined by verifying five hypotheses using LISREL. Website environments partially support perceived satisfaction and also perceived trust. Satisfaction has a strong effect upon perceived trust while satisfaction doesn't effect perceived loyalty. Trust significantly impacts perceived loyalを in tourism e-business.

점포이미지와 충성도 관계에서 인지적 만족과 감정적 만족의 역할 (The Role of Cognitive Satisfaction and Emotionally Based Satisfaction in Explaining Relationships between Store Image and Loyalty)

  • 본 연구에서는 백화점을 대상으로 상품이미지, 점포환경이미지, 판매원서비스이미지, 촉진활동이미지, 물리적시설이미지, 사후서비스이미지 등 점포이미지 구성요인과 인지적만족, 감정적만족 및 충성도 간의 경로상의 관계를 검증하고 만족의 역할을 확인하였다. 분석결과, 선행연구에서 점포이미지가 충성도에 직접적으로 영향을 미치거나 혹은 만족을 통해 간접적으로 영향을 미친다고 하였지만 본 연구에서는 점포이미지 구성요인에 따라서 인지적만족, 감정적만족, 충성도에 각기 다르게 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 즉 상품이미지와 물리적시설이미지는 인지적만족에, 판매원서비스이미지와 사후서비스이미지는 감정적만족에 그리고 촉진활동이미지는 두 변수 모두에게 영향을 주었으며, 점포환경이미지는 직접적으로 충성도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 판매원서비스이미지, 촉진활동이미지 및 사후서비스이미지 등 서비스와 관련된 점포이미지는 감정적만족를 매개하여 충성도를 구축하는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 고객에게 점포이미지를 형성하여 충성도를 가져오기 위해서는 점포이미지 구성요소를 기능적속성과 심리적속성으로 분리하여 만족을 유도하여야 하며 궁극적으로 충성도를 형성하는 변수들을 중심으로 점포이미지를 형성해야 할 것이다.

  • This paper analyzes the causal relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in Korean High-speed Internet market, where has achieved a rapid development in these days. According to the previous literatures, profitability results from customer loyalty influenced by customer satisfaction. So, we firstly define and analyze their relationships with the survey data from 737 subscribers, by using Factor Analysis and SEM(Structural Equation Model). Secondly, we find and select major cause variables to affect customer loyalty. Finally, we suggest some useful implications to marketers on the basis of the analysis results. As a result, customer loyalty depends on the degree of customer satisfaction on network quality and service quality in high-speed Internet service. Particularly the satisfaction level on network quality affects customer loyalty relatively stronger than one on service quality. Thus it is suggested that marketers invest in improving network quality rather than service quality to enhance customer loyalty.

The Impact of Experience Value on Brand Image, Satisfaction, and Customer Loyalty in Context of Full-Service Restaurants: Moderating Effect of Gender

  • This study performed to identify the relationships among experiential value, brand image, satisfaction and customer loyalty in context of full-service restaurant, and to find the moderating effect of gender on the formulated model. SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were employed to conduct frequency analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and multigroup analysis to examine moderating effect. Results confirmed the validity and reliability and found significant relationships among the constructs. First, two factors of experiential value (e.g., aesthetic and economic value) have positive influence on brand image, satisfaction, and brand image was significant predictor of customer satisfaction. Second, satisfaction was significant antecedent of attitudinal loyalty and the attitudinal loyalty has influence on behavioral loyalty. In addition, current study identified moderating effect of gender between playfulness and brand image even though there was on significant relationship between both constructs. These results will be meaningful for developing marketing strategies and successful business especially for full-service restaurants.

호텔 식음료 로열티 프로그램의 혜택, 관계의 질 및 애호도간의 관계에 관한 연구 (The Relationship among Perceived Benefits of Hotel F&B Loyalty Program, Relationship Quality and Loyalty)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how users' perceived benefits of hotel F&B loyalty program affected their relationship quality(trust and satisfaction) and loyalty on hotel products and services(hotel food & beverage products/services) and how their relationship quality(trust and satisfaction) influenced their loyalty. The model was tested in the settings of five-star hotels using a sample of current members of food & beverage membership program. Empirical results confirmed that not only perceived benefits of hotel F&B loyalty program affects users' perceived relationship quality(trust and satisfaction) and loyalty on hotel products and services(hotel food & beverage products/services) but that their perceived relationship quality influences loyalty on hotel products and services(hotel food & beverage products/services). According to the results, complimentary dining coupon and food discount strongly affected relationship quality(trust and satisfaction) and loyalty on hotel products and services(hotel food & beverage products/services). Strategically, it is recommended to appeal those benefits to current and potential members to maximize the loyalty. Also, it should be considered as major factors to re-package hotel F&B loyalty program.

  • Both employee satisfaction and loyalty play an important role in increasing the business performances of organizations in the service industry. However, the influence of TQM practices on employee satisfaction and employee loyalty has not been examined in the ICT service supply chain. This study aimed to investigate the impact of five total quality management (TQM) practices on employee satisfaction and employee loyalty in Korean ICT customer service and retail distribution organizations. Based on an empirical study of 578 respondents in a Korean ICT service company, the study examined the hypothesized relationships among TQM practices, employee satisfaction, and employee loyalty. Using structural equations modeling, it is found that TQM practices are significantly related to employee satisfaction, whereas the latter in turn influences employee loyalty. The results of analysis suggest that the ICT customer service and retail distribution organizations should concentrate on enhancing employee satisfaction of their TQM practices and creating a people-satisfied job environment.

의류제품의 E-충성도 형성 과정과 소비자만족 (E-loyalty formation process and satisfaction for apparel products)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the relationships between e-loyalty formation process and satisfaction for apparel products by testing the research model developing upon prior researches, and to analyze the differences of the structural model between two groups (high satisfaction group and low satisfaction group). A total of 356 respondents participated through a convenience sampling at universities in Busan. Data were analyzed by a structural equation model analysis. The results were as followings: First, for the structural model, the attributes of shopping malls (e.g., e-store attributes and product attributes) affected consumer satisfaction which influenced the e-loyalty of shopping malls, mediated by value perception. Second, high-satisfaction group evaluated more importantly the attributes of shopping malls, higher perceived the value of products and web sites, more satisfied the mall, and had greater loyalty of online shopping malls than low-satisfaction group. Third, there were significant differences between high-satisfaction group and low-satisfaction group in the e-loyalty model for apparels. Specifically, for high-satisfaction group, the e-store attributes were more likely to influence the value perception of products and web sites than low-satisfaction group, while low-satisfaction group was the higher perceived the value of products, the more they satisfied and then the greater e-loyalty respectively. According to the findings, the implications and future suggestions related to e-loyalty of shopping malls for apparels are provided.

HMR 선택속성이 만족과 충성도에 미치는 영향: 고객가치의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Selection Attributes for HMR on Satisfaction and Loyalty: Focused on Moderating Role of the Customer Value)

  • The purposes of this study were to verify the effects of HMR (Home Meal Replacement) selection attributes on satisfaction and loyalty for HMR. In addition, the moderating role of customer value was examined among selection attributes of HMR, satisfaction and loyalty for HMR. Using a convenience sampling method, the data were collected from those who have bought HMR in Seoul and Kyonggi area. After a total of 235 responses were collected, 220 were used for the analyses. The multiple regression analyses were conducted to test the hypotheses. The results are as follows. First, it was found that product practicality and cooking convenience of HMR selection attributes had an effect on satisfaction of HMR but that ingredients safety and package & circulation period did not have an effect on satisfaction of HMR. Second, satisfaction of HMR significantly impacted loyalty for HMR. Third, in low group for customer value, product practicality of HMR selection attributes had an positive effect on satisfaction of HMR, and ingredients safety of HMR selection attributes had an negative effect on satisfaction of HMR. In high group for customer value, cooking convenience of HMR selection attributes had an positive effect on satisfaction of HMR. In low group as high group for customer value, satisfaction of HMR had a greater impact on loyalty for HMR.
