키네시오 테이핑 적용에 따른 플라이오메트릭 운동이 근활성도와 순발력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Plyometric Exercise with Application of Kinesio Taping on Muscle Activity and Power Abilities)

  • Background: This study was performed to identify what effect plyometric exercise with application of kinesio taping gives on muscle activity and power of lower limb. Methods: In order to conduct research, total 14 male students at G university located Gwangyang city were randomly assigned; 7 for experimental group (with kinesio taping application) and 7 for control groups(without kinesio taping application) were conducted with box drill, one of the plyometric exercise 5 times a week for 4 weeks. Muscle activities were measured by using electrodiagnosis equipment on quadriceps and gastrocnemius. Collected data was analyzed by using Windows SPSS version 19.0. Results: Muscle activities show statistically significant differences (p<.05) both before and after exercise in experimental and control groups in terms of vastus medialis, rectus femoris, vastus lateralis and lateral gastrocnemius. However, only medial gastrocnemius shows statistically significant differences in experimental group compared before and after exercise. Sargent jump for measuring power shows that only experimental group presents statistically significant differences (p<.05). Two groups show that vastus medialis, vastus lateralis, lateral gastrocnemius and medial gastrocnemius only in muscle activities show statistically significant differences (p<.05) after exercise. Conclusion: The result of this survey indicates that plyometric exercise is effective to improve muscle activity and power of lower limb, especially, the group who exercises with application of kinesio tape is more effective than the other group with no tape application. Therefore, it is considered that plyometric exercise with tape is more effective to improve power and muscle strength.

노인의 운동능력이 IADL에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Motor Ability of Elderly on IADL)

  • Motor ability were hypothesized to be major factors that may have an influence on IADL(instrumental activities of daily living). The purpose of this study was to investi gate the effect of motor ability of elderly on IADL. This study consisted of forty eight elder male and ninety elder female. The subjects were selected from L, S, Y-institution in kyoung ki do. The average age of elder male and female was 73.81, 71.38 years. The data were analyzed with t-test, repeated measurement, correlation test, regression test, using SPSS PC+ and MINITAB program. The measurement item of motor ability was muscle strength(left, right- grip strength), flexibility(sitting trunk flexion, trunk extension, leg raising while in a standing position), agility(whole body reaction test, standing up), power(sargent jump), balance (stork stand). IADL was measured with Philadelphia Geriatric Center IADL. The result of this study were the following : 1. The factor of significant difference of between elder male and female was muscle strength, flexibility, power but no significant difference was agility, balance. 2. Between IADL of elder male and female was no significant difference. 3. Correlation of IADL and Motor ability of elder male had effect on muscle strength and power, agility. Correlation of Body composition and Motor ability of elder female had effect on muscle strength and power, agility. As a result of this study, optimal motor ability of elder male and female had improved IADL. In addition to, this result of this study, it can suggested the consideration of the Health promotion program for elderly.

최대 지친상태가 신체의 평형성, 민첩성, 순발력에 미치는 영향 (Effect of All-out Condition on Physical Balance, Agility and Power)

  • 본 연구에서는 최대 지친상태가 신체의 평형성, 민첩성, 순발력에 미치는 영향을 조사하여 소방공무원의 안전을 위한 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 하며 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 순발력 평가를 위한 제자리 높이뛰기는 운동부하 검사 전에는 $41.0{\pm}3.2cm$, 검사 후 즉 최대 지친상태에서는 $42.2{\pm}6.02cm$로 측정되었다. 평형성 검사에서 정적평형성 평가를 위한 눈감고 한발로 서기는 운동부하 검사 전 에는 $40.3{\pm}36.8$sec 검사 후는 $27.5{\pm}27.18$sec로 측정되어 약 32% 감소하는 경향이 나타났다. 동적평형성 검사를 위한 평균대 걷기에서는 운동부하 검사 전에는 $6.2{\pm}1.22$sec 검사 후에는 $6.4{\pm}1.57$sec로 나타났으며 통계적으로 유의하였다. 민첩성 평가를 위한 반복 옆뛰기 결과 운동부하 검사 전에는 $40.3{\pm}3.40$rep/20sec 검사 후에는 $43.3{\pm}2.50$rep/20sec로 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하였다. 또한 전신반응검사에서는 운동부하 검사 전에는 $0.21{\pm}0.05$sec, 검사 후에는 $0.18{\pm}0.02$sec로 약간 감소하였다.
