본 논문은 다양한 뉴스 미디어들(텔레비전, 신문, 인터넷웹사이트)이 2000년 미 대통령 선거기간 동안 캠페인 의제를 어떻게 설정하고 있는지를 살펴봄으로써, 뉴스 획일화 경향을 분석하였다. 이러한 미디어 의제설정에 대한 연구관점은 뉴스보도의 동일성 여부에 초점을 둔 기존의 뉴스 획일화 연구 경향을 보완하고자 제시되었으며, 새로운 정보 환경에서의 뉴스 질을 분석하려는 시도이다. 세 개의 매체로부터 캠페인 관련 뉴스들을 수집, 분석한 결과는 2000년 미국 대통령 선거 보도가 이슈 현저성 설정과 각 이슈에 대한 보도량 비율 할당에 있어 매체간, 매체내 높은 유사성을 가졌음을 보여주었다. 또한, 본 연구는 매체간/매체내 의제설정에 관여하는 시간요인의 영향을 밝히고 있다.

This review provides a comprehensive overview of brain imaging studies of the brain-gut interaction in functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGIDs). Functional neuroimaging studies during gut stimulation have shown enhanced brain responses in regions related to sensory processing of the homeostatic condition of the gut (homeostatic afferent) and responses to salience stimuli (salience network), as well as increased and decreased brain activity in the emotional response areas and reduced activation in areas associated with the top-down modulation of visceral afferent signals. Altered central regulation of the endocrine and autonomic nervous responses, the key mediators of the brain-gut axis, has been demonstrated. Studies using resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging reported abnormal local and global connectivity in the areas related to pain processing and the default mode network (a physiological baseline of brain activity at rest associated with self-awareness and memory) in FGIDs. Structural imaging with brain morphometry and diffusion imaging demonstrated altered gray- and white-matter structures in areas that also showed changes in functional imaging studies, although this requires replication. Molecular imaging by magnetic resonance spectroscopy and positron emission tomography in FGIDs remains relatively sparse. Progress using analytical methods such as machine learning algorithms may shift neuroimaging studies from brain mapping to predicting clinical outcomes. Because several factors contribute to the pathophysiology of FGIDs and because its population is quite heterogeneous, a new model is needed in future studies to assess the importance of the factors and brain functions that are responsible for an optimal homeostatic state.

본 연구의 목적은 과학탐구활동 수행평가 시 총체적 채점의 신뢰도를 높이기 위하여 채점자간 불일치의 정도와 유형을 이해하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 중학생 60명을 대상으로 과학탐구 수행평가를 실시하였고, 4명의 훈련된 채점자 채점을 실시하였다. 분산 분석결과 교사 관련 분산성분에 의해 전체 분산의 25%를 설명할 수 있으며, 4명의 채점자중 2명은 관대한 채점자, 2명은 엄격한 채점자의 경향을 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 전체 240 채점 사례 중 4명의 채점자가 모두 일치한 사례는 51사례이다. 채점자간 불일치가 나타나는 189사례에 대하여 채점자 협의를 통하여 확인한 결과, 채점자간 중요하게 생각하는 부분의 차이 때문에 발생하는 불일치 유형1이 38%, 채점자의 관대함과 엄격함에 의해 발생하는 불일치 유형2가 25%, 채점자가 중요하게 생각하지 않은 부분에서 간과하기 때문에 발생하는 등 실수에 의한 불일치 유형3이 31%로 나타났다. 불일치 유형1은 채점자마다 중요하게 생각하는 과제 요소와 평가 요소가 다른 경우로 나누어서 나타났으며, 맥락상의 의미를 강조하는 채점자는 관대한 경향을, 특정 요소를 강조하여 분석적으로 해석하는 채점자는 엄격한 경향을 나타냈다. 불일치 유형 2는 많은 경우 채점 척도의 경계에 학생의 응답에 대하여 나타났으며, 채점자들은 이러한 학생 응답에 대하여 옳은 서술의 개수를 세는 등 분석적인 채점을 수행하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 불일치 유형3은 채점자의 실수로 발생하는 불일치로 주로 학생의 응답 중 평가 기준에 부합하는 부분인데 채점자가 중요하게 생각하지 않기 때문에 간과하여 발생하는 것으로 파악할 수 있었다. 이상과 같은 채점자간 불일치를 제어하기 위해서는 채점자가 중요하게 생각하는 과제 요소와 평가 요소에 대하여 사전 및 진행 중 협의를 할 필요가 있다고 판단된다. 또한 총체적 채점을 하는 경우도 각 수준에 해당하는 평가 기준과 함께 경계에 놓인 학생 응답을 변별하는 기준을 제시하는 것이 필요하다. 채점자들은 자신의 채점경향이 엄격한지 관대한지를 파악하고 경계에 놓인 학생의 응답에 대한 판단을 주의 깊게 하여야 불일치를 줄일 수 있다. 실수에 의한 오차를 줄이기 위해서는 여러 명의 채점자가 교차 채점하는 것이 필요하다. 동일한 채점 기준에 대한 채점자의 해석이 다르게 나타나는 경향과 원인에 대한 추후 연구가 필요하다.

This study explores the component factors of innovation brand to build organizational culture of government ministries. A perception of organizational officers on innovation brand is ranked orderly by brand awareness(recognition, discrimination), brand loyalty (identification, ease of memory, meaning diffusion, reaction of customer needs), brand salience, brand knowledge and brand innovation. The results of factor analysis classify the component factors with factor1(brand awareness, brand loyalty) and factor2(brand innovation). This results indicate that the officers definitely recognize the value of innovation brand and brand identity. The brand discrimination and brand loyalty can also positively affect perception on brand innovation.

Architectural utility in Richard Neutra's early twentieth century modern school design was paramount in progressively shaping salience of academic institutions, in part to move beyond neoclassical traditions in style based design. The intention being to address school and community through modern architectural solutions. Expanding on Neutra's practice, the planning and design of new public schools in Los Angeles, are advocating the integration of institutional and public spaces. This research will document through qualitative analysis of institutional design within transitioning neighborhoods, a utilitarian approach that has become foundational for positive urban change. The focus of this research will reflect upon contemporary schools designed by DalyGenik Architecture, Coop Himmelblau and Michael Maltzen Architecture. Comparing with Neutra's early modernist approach, the selected case studies will address material and spatial applications having redefined functional relationships of interior space, architectural envelope and an interconnected public realm. A dynamic peripheral condition in new school design has emerged with the elimination of decorative adornment, clarifying utilitarian intentions of institutional service to and the rejuvenation of public realms and community spaces.

In this paper, a robust text detection method based on edge enhanced contrasting extremal region (CER) is proposed using stroke width transform (SWT) and tensor voting. First, the edge enhanced CER extracts a number of covariant regions, which is a stable connected component from input images. Next, SWT is created by the distance map, which is used to eliminate non-text regions. Then, these candidate text regions are verified based on tensor voting, which uses the input center point in the previous step to compute curve salience values. Finally, the connected component grouping is applied to a cluster closed to characters. The proposed method is evaluated with the ICDAR2003 and ICDAR2013 text detection competition datasets and the experiment results show high accuracy compared to previous methods.

The present study examined the connections between the various roles performed by the wives and marital satisfaction after the husbands' retirement. Using data from 178 women in their late fifties living in Seoul the study has analyzed how the roles as wife mother of adult chidren and adult child's role towards aged parents affect women's marital satisfaction. While the level of involvement in household works and emotional support to their husbands were relatively high supporting role to aged parents were low. The level of marital satisfaction as moderately high. The degree of housework division and reduced income level after retiremnt were found to be associated with the marital satisfaction. On the other hand the roles of mother and adult child towards aged parents were not important. Overall the findings suggested the salience of marital roles in wive's marital satisfaction after husbands's retirement.

With the explosion of internet users, there are many enterprises and organizations that regard the internet as the great marketing superhighway. Although fascination and speculation surrounds the impact of the cyber shopping mall on consumer shopping behavior, there is little empirical evidence underlying all this speculation. This article reports on the critical issues that consumers found salient as they browsed through cyber shopping malls. We gathered consumers’reactions via open-ended survey. We relate the reactions to the factors of tangibility, assurance, responsibility, empathy, and reliability which we had identified from the existing literature on service quality. Two additional questionnaires were administered to translate these factors to the cyber shopping mall context and to explore their relative salience. We also evaluated SERVQUAL and SERVPERF as service quality measures for cyber shopping malls. The results show that SERVPERF seems more promising than SERVQUAL. The results also suggest that cyber shopping mall merchants need to think more about how they perform on the issues known to affect customers’decision making for purchasing. We offer advice for enhancing the design of cyber shopping mall.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of narcissism on employees' social media addiction and how it influences their job satisfaction and organizational commitment. And this study explores if perceived organizational support can moderate the relationship between narcissism and social media addiction. For this, this study collected data from 285 employees in Korean companies through a survey method and uses SPSS 18.0 for hierarchical regression analysis in the hypothesis test. First, organizational politics increases mood modification, withdrawal and tolerance among the sub-factors of social media addiction. Second, each phenomena of social media service addiction such as salience, withdrawal and tolerance decrease each relevant factors of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Third, withdrawal and tolerance among the sub-factors of social media addiction play the mediating roles between narcissism and each relevant factors of job satisfaction/organizational commitment. Finally, perceived organizational support decrease the effect of narcissism on mood modification, withdrawal and tolerance among the sub-factors of social media addiction. This study provides some of managerial implications to corporate executives who try to manage organizational attitudes.

The aim of this study is to propose the plausibility of Ship-repair industry brand in the global market. It has been argued that it is necessary to secure the identity of company because of the expansion of international market in the age of globalization. Authors of this paper have considered that the brand is a solution for global ship-repair industry's development in Busan region with focusing on the 5 elements (Salience, Imagery, Performance, Feeling, and Judgments) of Keller's brand equity block except Resonance. As a result, we presented the roles of company for securing the brand equity in ship-repair industry comparing with the elements of Keller's brand equity block. and implied the plausibility of global ship-repair industry's development. Especially, Securing the licences and certifications related to ship-repair industry is very important thing about the brand equity.
