네트워크 RTK 환경에 적합한 감시 시스템 설계 (Design of Monitoring System for Network RTK)

  • 네트워크 RTK는 네트워크 내 다중 기준국의 반송파 측정치 보정정보를 활용하는 정밀 측위 기법으로 성능 개선을 목적으로 꾸준히 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 최근까지는 주로 측지 측량 분야에서 사용하였기 때문에 정확도 개선을 위한 연구 위주로 진행되었으며, 무결성 확보를 위한 연구는 아직 미비하다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크 RTK에서의 무결성 확보를 위한 기초연구로 네트워크 RTK 환경에 적합한 감시 시스템을 설계하였다. 이를 위하여 네트워크 RTK에서의 무결성 결함 조건을 도출하고, 각 결함 조건 별로 활용할 수 있는 이상 검출 및 식별 기법을 소개하였으며, 이를 기반으로 네트워크 RTK를 서비스하는 중앙처리국에서 활용할 수 있는 감시 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • 도시가스 공급시설에서 위험인자의 계측은 근래까지 인력에 의하여 측정 및 확인되었으며 유선통신을 이용하여 원격모니터링 시스템으로 진화해왔다. 더 나아가 국내/외 산업시설은 무선통신 기반 원격 모니터링 시스템 및 제어 시스템을 개발하여 관리의 효율성을 향상시켜왔다. 그러나 외부에서 데이터를 확인이 즉각적으로 확인하기 위해서는 유선으로 PDA나 노트북에 연결함으로써 효율성과 편의성이 감소되기 때문에 본 논문은 증강현실 기반 모바일 도시가스 안전관리 시스템을 개발하여 도시가스 공급시설의 안전관리 효율성을 개선하고자 한다.

화력 발전기 보일러 내부 작업자 위치 모니터링 시스템 개발 (The Monitoring System for Location of Workers Inside a Thermal Power Plant Boiler)

  • There are regularly planned overhaul periods in thermal power plants, which involve the maintenance of the boiler of the power plants. However, thermal power plants workers are always exposed to risk during overhaul periods owing to the narrow space and significant dust inside the boiler. Therefore, it is essential to develop a safety monitoring system that is suitable for operating in this type of environment. In this study, we developed not only a worker three-dimensional (3D)-location monitoring system that can monitor and record the entry/exit of workers, their 3D-location, and fall accidents but also a method to secure the working environment and operation efficiency. This system comprises of a worker tag, which was equipped with an inertial measurement unit, a barometric pressure sensor, and a Bluetooth low energy (BLE), and the tags were given to each worker. In addition, the location of workers inside the boiler was measured using a pedestrian dead reckoning (PDR) method and BLE beacons. The location data of the workers tag were transmitted to the integrated database (DB) server through a gateway, and to the administrator monitoring system. The performance of the system was demonstrated inside an actual thermal power plant boiler, and the accuracy and reliability of the system were verified through a number of repeated tests. These results provide insights on designing a new system for monitoring enclosed spaces.

A novel monitoring system for fatigue crack length of compact tensile specimen in liquid lead-bismuth eutectic

  • Fatigue strength of the structural materials of lead-cooled fast reactors (LFRs) and accelerator-driven systems (ADS) may be degraded in liquid metal (Lead or lead-bismuth eutectic (LBE)) environments. The fatigue crack growth (FCG) data of structural materials in liquid LBE are necessary for damage tolerance design, safety assessment and life management of key equipment. A novel monitoring system for fatigue crack length was designed on the compliance method and the monitor technology of crack opening displacement (COD) of CT specimens by the linear variable differential transformers (LVDT) system. It can be used to predict the crack length by monitoring the COD of CT specimens in harsh high-temperature liquid LBE using a LVDT system. The prediction accuracy of this system was verified by FCG experiments in room temperature air and liquid LBE at 150, 250 and 350 ℃. The first results obtained in the FCG test for T91 steel in liquid LBE at 350 ℃ are presented.

  • 자동차에 있어서 안전은 가장 중요한 설계 인자이다. 자동차 타이어 압력은 자동차 안전에 중요한 요소로 알려져 있다. 능동적 안전 측면에서, 타이어공기압검지장치(TPMS)는 아주 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. RF 통신 기능을 갖고 타이어 내부에서 타이어 압력을 모니터링하는 장치는 광범위한 운전영역에서 정회한 압력을 검지하는 효과적 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 타이어 압력 및 온도보상 특성 관계를 조사하였다. 본 연구를 통하여, 차량 조건과 주행 변수를 고려한 TPMS 제어 로직의 가이드 라인을 설정할 수 있었다.

  • As the development environment is changing with the development of information communication technology, the systems that were used by each service became used with integration. In the process of integrating from existing legacy systems to new system, it should be smoothly integrated or shared, however, it cannot help holding existing technology or component due to significant cost burden for conversion. In this paper, it was not only classified by types with analyzing the various elements that make up legacy system but an approach and monitoring system were developed to each type. After System application results, data's information generated in each process is provided to other system in real time, so that it has not only secured the work efficiency and reliability but also it is made possible by integrating data in various formats for efficient data management, rapid search and tracking to history. With real-time monitoring system developed in this study, It can be very useful in a variety of industries which require real-time monitoring of distributed legacy system data.

부분 자율주행자동차의 운전자 모니터링 시스템 안전기준 검증을 위한 운전 행동 분석 -1부- (Driving behavior Analysis to Verify the Criteria of a Driver Monitoring System in a Conditional Autonomous Vehicle - Part I -)

  • This study aimed to verify the criteria of the driver monitoring systems proposed by UNECE ACSF informal working group and the ministry of land, infrastructure, and transport of South Korea using driving behavior data. In order to verify the criteria, we investigated the safety regulations of driver monitoring systems in a conditional autonomous vehicle and found that the driver monitoring measures were related to eye blinks times, head movements, and eye closed duration. Thus, we took two different experimental data including real-world driving and simulator-based drowsy driving behaviors in previous studies. The real-world driving data were used for analyzing blink times and head movement intervals, and the drowsiness data were used for eye closed duration. In the real-world driving study, 52 drivers drove approximately 11.0 km of rural road (about 20 min), 7.9 km of urban road (about 25 min), and 20.8 km of highway (about 20 min). The results suggested that the appropriate number of blinks during the last 60 seconds was 4 times, and the head movement interval was 35 seconds. The results from drowsy driving data will be presented in another paper - part 2.

The results suggested that the appropriate duration of eyes continuously closed was 4 seconds. The results from real-world driving data were presented in the other paper - part 1.

지그비 기술을 이용한 지하광산 내 실시간 환경 모니터링 시스템 현장 적용 연구 (A Study on the Application of Real-time Environment Monitoring System in Underground Mines using Zigbee Technology)

  • 최근 전 세계적으로 지하 광산 내 안전관리의 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 실시간 작업자 위치추적, 모니터링 시스템, 원격 제어 등 정보통신기술을 접목한 광산안전관리 기술 개발이 한창 진행 중이다. 이러한 기술들은 네트워크 구축의 유연성을 위해 주로 무선 통신 방식이 적용되고 있으며, 국내에서도 지하 광산 내 무선 통신 네트워크를 통한 모니터링 시스템을 구축한 사례들이 있지만 국내 기준에 맞는 기술 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지그비 기술을 활용하여 실시간 환경 모니터링 시스템을 개발하고 국내 석회석 광산에 적용한 결과를 고찰하였다. 나아가 개발된 환경 모니터링 시스템을 실시간 통기 모니터링 인터페이스인 $VentSim^{TM}$ LiveView와 연동하여 활용성을 검토하였다. 본 연구는 향후 통기 설비 제어 등 광산 통기 시스템 최적화에 관한 연구에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Concept Design of Fire Safety Module for SV20 Service in the Korean e-Navigation System

  • The Korean e-Navigation system is a Korean approach to correspond with implementation of IMO e-Navigation. It provides five services, among them SV20 service, a ship remote monitoring system that collects and processes sensor information related to fire, navigation, and seakeeping performance safety. The system also detects abnormal conditions such as fires, capsizing, sinking, navigation equipment failure during navigation, and calculates the safety index and determines the emergency level. According to emergency level, it provides appropriate emergency response guidance for the onboard operator. The fire safety module is composed of three sub-modules; each module is the safety index sub-module, the emergency level determination sub-module and emergency response guidance sub-module. In this study, operational concept of the fire safety module in SV20 service is explained, and fire safety assessment factors are estimated, to calculate the fire safety index. Fire assessment factors included 'Fire detector position factor,' 'Smoke diffusion rate factor,' and 'Fire-fighting facilities factor.'
