속력을 고려한 선박충돌회피모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ship Collision Avoidance Model considered Speed)

  • 선박의 충돌회피 방법을 제시하는 관점에 있어, 두 선박의 조우각도에 따른 속력이 충분히 고려되어야 할 것이다. 하지만 선박의 충돌회피를 위해 새롭게 연구된 근접상황 선박충돌회피지원 모델의 Safe-Guard Ring 설정은 본선과 상대선박의 속력비가 약 1.7 이하로 제한되어 있으므로 제한된 범위 이외의 경우에서 충돌 위험이 존재 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 두 선박이 조우하는 각도 및 속력을 고려한 Safe-Guard Ring 설정을 연구함으로써 안전한 충돌회피 조종을 위한 선박충돌회피모델을 제시하고자 한다.

  • One of the most fundamental challenges when designing controllers for dynamic systems is the adjustment of controller parameters. Usually the system model is used to get the initial controller, but eventually the controller parameters must be manually adjusted in the real system to achieve the best performance. To avoid this manual tuning step, data-driven methods such as machine learning were used. Recently, reinforcement learning became one alternative of this problem to be considered as an agent learns policies in large state space with trial-and-error Markov Decision Process (MDP) which is widely used in the field of robotics. However, on initial training step, as an agent tries to explore to the new state space with random action and acts directly on the controller parameters in real systems, MDP can lead the system safety-critical system failures. Therefore, the issue of 'safe exploration' became important. In this paper we meet 'safe exploration' condition with Control Barrier Function (CBF) which converts direct constraints on the state space to the implicit constraint of the control inputs. Given an initial low-performance controller, it automatically optimizes the parameters of the control law while ensuring safety by the CBF so that the agent can learn how to predict and control unknown and often stochastic environments. Simulation results on a quadrotor UAV indicate that the proposed method can safely optimize controller parameters quickly and automatically.

  • An occupant analysis code SAFE (Safety Analysis For occupant crash Environment) is utilized to simulate and improve the crash performance of an energy absorbing steering system. The safety standard FMVSS 203 is simulated and used for design evaluations . Segments and contact elliposids are utilized to model the bod blocks and the components of the steering system with SAFE. Spring-damper elements and force-deflection characteristics are utilized to model the energy absorbing components such as the plate and the polyacetal molding. The plate absorbs the impact energy through tensile deformation . Whereas, the polyacetal molding absorbs the impact energy through compression. the body block test is carried out to validate tie simulation model, and real component tests are performed to extract the force-deflection curves . After the model is validated , the parameter study is carried out to evaluate the crash performance of the energy absorbing components. A performance measure is defined for the parameter study. Using the results of the parameter study and managing the orthogonal arrays, optimum design values of energy absorbing components are determined to minize the occupant injury.

  • Unlike industrial manipulators, the manipulators mounted on the service robots are interacting with humans in various aspects. Therefore, safety has been the important design issue. Many compliant robot arm designs have been introduced for safety. It is known that passive compliance method has faster response and higher reliability than active ones. In this paper, a new safe mechanism based on passive compliance has been proposed. Passive mechanical elements, specifically transmission angle of the 4-bar linkage, springs and shock absorbing modules are incorporated into this safe mechanism. This mechanism works only when the robot arm exerts contact force much more than the human pain tolerance. Validity of the safe mechanism is verified by simulations and experiments. In this research, it is shown that the manipulator using this mechanism provides higher performance and safety than those using other passive compliance mechanisms.

KOMPSAT-2 AOCS Control Mode & Power Safe Mode Design

  • KOMPSAT-2 is the second Korean earth observation satellite after KOMPSAT-l: the 1 meter GSD cartographic capability and planning to launch at the end of 2005 by ROKOT launch vehicle. The dedicated AOCS operational modes are designed for KOMPSAT-2 based on KOMPSAT-l experience All of AOCS operational modes requires gyro information. To compensate this drawback, Power Safe Mode is designed and implemented. Successfully AOCS on-board software is developed and extensively verified through a nonlinear simulation process. The simulation results of Power Safe Mode and Science Fine Submode are provided to demonstrate its functionality as well as its performance.

  • 하이퍼 큐브는 정규적이며 결함 허용 능력을 갖고 있기 때문에 결함 허용 알고리즘을 구현하기 쉽다. 하이퍼 큐브를 이용한 결함 허용 알고리즘들이 많이 개발되었다. 이러한 알고리즘들 중에 안전(safe)과 불안정(unsafe) 개념을 이용한 알고리즘이 Masuyama등에 의해 개발되었다. 이 논문에서는 Masuyama의 알고리즘을 개선한 새로운 알고리즘을 제안하고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 성능을 비교한다.

영구자석 동기모터 진동 및 과전류 저감을 위한 능동단락회로 제어 기법 (Active Short Circuit Control Method to Reduce Overcurrent and Oscillation Current in PMSM)

  • This study proposes the mitigation method for overcurrent and oscillation motor current in an active short-circuit operation. This operation is attracting attention as the safe state of electric vehicle traction inverters. However, the active short-circuit operation generates oscillation and overcurrent of motor currents during a transient state. The proposed method uses two different safe states in PMSM, such as active short circuit and freewheeling. The active short circuit is used for safe state in a steady state. To reduce the overshoot and oscillation, a freewheeling state is injected between active short-circuit operation by comparing the motor phase current with an analytically calculated steady-state motor current. Freewheeling state is only used in a transient state. The performance is demonstrated through simulations and experimental results. The peak current of the motor was reduced from 52 A to 40 A, and oscillation time was reduced.

달 착륙선의 위험 상대거리 기반 착륙지 선정기법 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Landing Point Designation Technique Based on Relative Distance to Hazard for Lunar Lander)

  • 달착륙선의 라이다 기반 위험회피 착륙시스템은 기본적으로 목표 착륙지역에 대한 지형 파라미터인 경사와 험준도로 위험도를 계산하고 해당 지역에 대하여 위험도가 최소값을 갖는 점을 안전한 착륙 지점으로 선정한다. 이때, 경사와 험준도만을 고려할 경우 라이다 측정오차에 의해 착륙지가 위험요소 근처로 선정될 수 있으며 이는 착륙선에 위협적이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하고 최대한 안전한 착륙지점을 선정하기 위하여 위험상대거리 기반의 위험도를 기존의 지형파리미터 기반의 위험도와 함께 고려하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 경사와 험준도 각각에 대한 위험상대거리 기반 위험도가 지형 특성에 따라 착륙지 선정결과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였고, 두 가지 위험상대거리를 동시에 고려하였을 때 가장 좋은 위험회피 착륙 성능을 나타냄을 시뮬레이션과 3차원 뎁스 카메라를 이용한 실험을 통해 확인하였다.

ShareSafe: An Improved Version of SecGraph

  • In this paper, we redesign, implement, and evaluate ShareSafe (Based on SecGraph), an open-source secure graph data sharing/publishing platform. Within ShareSafe, we propose De-anonymization Quantification Module and Recommendation Module. Besides, we model the attackers' background knowledge and evaluate the relation between graph data privacy and the structure of the graph. To the best of our knowledge, ShareSafe is the first platform that enables users to perform data perturbation, utility evaluation, De-A evaluation, and Privacy Quantification. Leveraging ShareSafe, we conduct a more comprehensive and advanced utility and privacy evaluation. The results demonstrate that (1) The risk of privacy leakage of anonymized graph increases with the attackers' background knowledge. (2) For a successful de-anonymization attack, the seed mapping, even relatively small, plays a much more important role than the auxiliary graph. (3) The structure of graph has a fundamental and significant effect on the utility and privacy of the graph. (4) There is no optimal anonymization/de-anonymization algorithm. For different environment, the performance of each algorithm varies from each other.
