Optimal Electric Energy Subscription Policy for Multiple Plants with Uncertain Demand

  • This paper present a new optimization model to generate aggregate production planning by considering electric cost. The new Time Of Switching (TOS) electric type is introduced by switching over Time Of Day (TOD) and Time Of Use (TOU) electric types to minimize the electric cost. The fuzzy demand and Dynamic inventory tracking with multiple plant capacity are modeled to cover the uncertain demand of customer. The constraint for minimum hour limitation of plant running per one start up event is introduced to minimize plants idle time. Furthermore; the Optimal Weight Moving Average Factor for customer demand forecasting is introduced by monthly factors to reduce forecasting error. Application is illustrated for multiple cement mill plants. The mathematical model was formulated in spreadsheet format. Then the spreadsheet-solver technique was used as a tool to solve the model. A simulation running on part of the system in a test for six months shows the optimal solution could save 60% of the actual cost.

  • The Main objective of the study is to find out the basic running condition of KNR EMUs since the results can be useful in designing new EMUs. We had investigated the average annual mileages and decrepit levels. After that, we performed stress analysis for the carbody when uniformly distributed vortical loads due to the weight of the car body and passengers were applied to the underframes, in order to find out the most critical sections of the underframes and the effect of corrosion on the underframe strength.. Upon performing stress analysis, we carried out running tests of EMUs on the conventional line to measure dynamic stresses applied to the underframes.

Interior Noise Characteristics in Japanese, Korean and Chinese Subways

  • The aim of this study was to clarify the characteristics of interior noise in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese subways. The octave-band noise levels, A-weighted equivalent continuous sound pressure level ($L_{Aeq}$) and parameters extracted from interaural cross-correlation/autocorrelation functions (ACF/IACFs) were analyzed to evaluate the noise inside running train cars quantitatively and qualitatively. The average $L_{Aeq}$ was 72-83 dBA. The IACF/ACF parameters of the noise showed variations in their values, suggesting they are affected by the characteristics of the trains running, wheel-rail interaction, and cross-section of the tunnels.

비파괴 및 재하시험에 의한 노후 교량의 거동특성 (Behavior Properties of Bridge by Non Destructive and Loading Test)

  • The performance evaluation and deflection of 3 spans concrete simplicity slab bridge analyzed by non-destructive and loading test. Compressive strength of slab and pier appeared in the range of each 353∼366 kgf/$cm^2$ and 152∼215 kgf/$cm^2$ in rebound number test. Also, it appeared that concrete quality of slab was good after performance improvement. The average compressive strength of slab by core picking appeared 229 kg/$cm^2$. In reinforcing bar arrangement test of span and member, it appeared that horizontal and vertical reinforcing bar was arranged to fixed interval. The value of calculation deflection that carried structural analysis with deflection analysis wave in static loading test appeared higher than that of experimental deflection and it appeared that hardness of this bridge was good. Maximum impact factor that estimated from deflection by running speed in dynamic loading test appeared by 0.216 in 10 km/hr running speed.

  • 다양한 분야에서 빠르게 대용량의 자료가 생성됨에 따라 이를 처리하기 위해 분산 프로그래밍 모델인 MapReduce의 활용이 도입되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SUN Blade150에 Solaris와 Linux 환경의 클러스터 시스템을 구축한 뒤 해당 환경에서의 MapReduce 미들웨어인 Hadoop 에서 응용수행에 대한 평균 시간 및 표준 편차를 평가하여 Hadoop 기반 MapReduce 구현이 어떠한 클러스터 시스템에 의해 성능이 영향을 미치는지를 보인다.

고속철도 열차지연 유형의 구분지표 및 기준 (Types of Train Delay of High-Speed Rail : Indicators and Criteria for Classification)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the indicators and the criteria to classify types of train delays of high-speed rail in South Korea. Types of train delays have divided into the chronic delays and the knock-on delays. The Indicators based on relevance, reliability, and comparability were selected with arrival delay rate of over five minutes, median of arrival delays of preceding train and following train, knock-on delay rate of over five minutes, correlation of delay between preceding train and following train on intermediate and last stations, average train headway, average number of passengers per train, and average seat usages. Types of train delays were separated using the Ward's hierarchical cluster analysis. The criteria for classification of train delay were presented by the Fisher's linear discriminant. The analysis on the situational characteristics of train delays is as follows. If the train headway in last station is short, the probability of chronic delay is high. If the planned running times of train is short, the seriousness of chronic delay is high. The important causes of train delays are short headway of train, shortly planned running times, delays of preceding train, and the excessive number of passengers per train.

런닝화의 일반인솔과 기능성인솔의 운동역학적 비교 분석 (Biomechanical Comparison Analysis of Popular Insole and Functional Insole of Running Shoes)

  • These studies show that I applied to functional insole (a specific S company) for minimizing shocks and sprain people's ankle arising from running. How to an effect on human body which studied a kinematics and kinetics from 10 college students during experiments. This study imposes several conditions by barefoot, normal running shoes and put functional insole shoes ran under average $2.0{\pm}0.24$ meter per second by motion analysis, ground reaction force and electromyography that used to specific A company. First of all, Motion analysis was caused by Achilles tendon angle, Angle of the lower leg, Angle of the knee, Initial sole angle and Barefoot angle. Second, Contact time, Vertical impact force peak timing, Vertical active force and Active force timing, and Maximum loading rate under impulse of first 20 percent and Value of total impulse caused Ground reaction force. Third. The tendon fo Quadriceps femoris, Biceps femoris, Tibialis anterior and gastronemius medials caused. electromyography. 1. Ground reaction force also showed that statically approximates other results from impact peak timing (p.001), Maximum loading rate(p<.001), Maximum loading rate timing (p<.001) and impulse of first 20 percent (p<.001). 2 Electromyography showed that averagely was distinguished from other factors, and did not show about that. Above experiment values known that there was statically difference between Motion analysis and Ground reaction force under absorbing of the functional insole shoes which was not have an effect on our body for kinetics and kinematics.

디지털케이블TV에서 영화의 선행창구 성과, 장르, 홀드백 기간이 영화 VOD 구매에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Number of Running Screens and Viewers in the Theaters, Genres, Holdback Period on the Number of Purchases of Movie VOD in the Digital Cable TV Subscribers)

  • 본 논문은 디지털케이블TV에서 2013년 3분기동안 편성한 169편의 유료영화 VOD를 대상으로, 영화의 선행창구성과인 누적관객수, 스크린 수, 그리고 장르와 홀드백 기간이 영화 VOD 구매에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 편당 VOD 평균 구매건수는 2,540건으로 나타났고, 회귀분석 결과 선행창구성과인 스크린 수와 홀드백 기간이 영화 VOD 구매에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고, 누적관객 수는 유의미한 영향을 주지 못했다. 장르별로 보면 SF/판타지 8,401건>드라마 4,011건>코미디 2,011건>액션 1,798건>애니메이션 1,138건>애정/멜로 1,119건>공포/스릴러 770건>에로 636건의 순으로 나타났다.

한국인 족형을 적용한 트레일 러닝화의 생체역학적 분석 (Biomechanical Analysis of Trail Running Shoes Applied to Korean Shoe-Lasts)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze biomechanical factors of trail running shoes applied to korean shoe-lasts. 10 healthy male subjects with an average age of 37.2 years(SD=8.28), weight of 69.6 kg(SD=10.56) and a height of 171 cm(SD=4.93) were recruited for this study. Ten males walked on a treadmill wearing four different shoes. Foot pressure data was collected using a Pedar-X mobile system(Novel Gmbh., Germany) operating at the 1000 Hz. Surface EMG signals for tibialis anterior, gastrocnemius, vastus lateralis and biceps femoris were acquired at 1000 Hz using Noraxon TeleMyo DTS system(Noraxon Inc., USA). Foot pressure and leg muscle fatigue were measured and calculated during walking. The results are as follows: After walking 60 minutes, Type A showed a lower MPF. MPF values were significantly different from each muscle(p<.05). Therefore, Type A shoe might decrease muscle fatigue in the legs while walking. In addition, Type It showed that Type A shoe has the highest contact area and the lowest maximum pressure. As a result of the analysis, Trail running shoes will use a new design to reduce muscle fatigue and are expected to increase comfort and fitting.

오존 대기 환경기준의 비교 연구 (A Comparative study on Ambient Air Quality Standard for Ozone)

  • Based on air quality monitoring data('89~'97) operated by the Department of Environment, we provide various fundamental statistics for ground ozone. The purpose of this paper are to review the national ambient ozone standard, to study spatial distribution of ozone. Since we, in Korea, calculate average ozone level, to examine the occurrences of ozone level 3 times a day (1~8, 9~16, 17~24 hours), the method does not seem to be scientifically sound comparing to a running average method adapted by the USEPA. When we counted the number of cases with 8-h average O3 level exceeding 60ppb(8-h average standard in Korea)and 80 ppb (that in the U.S.A) and also when we calculated 8-hour average ozone level based on th US method, some regions were classified as non-attainment areas. Especially in Seoul, results of spatial distribution analysis showed that high level ozone over 80 ppb was observed at Kuui-Dong and Pangi-Dong in the eastern part and at Ssangmun-Dong in the northeastern part. Also, occurrences of ozone episode defined as number of days then ozone level exceeding 80 ppb for 3 consecutive hours were extensively reviewed in this paper.
