다중 축 강성을 위한 축상 스프링 최적설계 연구 (A Study on Design Optimization of an Axle Spring for Multi-axis Stiffness)

  • 철도차량의 1차 현가장치는 윤축과 대차를 구속하는 장치로써 각 방향의 강성에 따라 차량의 동특성에 큰 영향을 미치며, 동특성을 향상시키기 위해서는 각 방향 강성을 다르게 요구하는데 일반적인 현가장치의 형상으로는 각 방향의 강성을 다르게 설계하기란 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 코니칼 러버 스프링(Conical rubber spring)을 이용하여 각 방향의 강성을 다르게 설계할 수 있도록 최적화 기법을 적용하여 목표값과 해석값의 RMS(Root Mean Square) 값을 이용하여 최적화를 수행하고 최적형상을 토대로 모델의 취약부의 형상을 보완하여 최종 모델을 제안한다. 실제 모델을 개발하여 정하중 시험을 통해 목표 강성값과 약 7.7%의 편차평균을 나타내 최적화 모델의 신뢰성을 입증하였다. 또한 최종 강성값을 다물체 동역학 모델에 적용하여 안정성과 곡선 주행성능 해석을 수행하였으며 적용모델의 임계속도는 대상 모델의 주행 최고속도인 110km/h 보다 높은 190km/h이며 차륜의 마모지수는 기존대비 34% 감소하여 조향 성능이 향상되었음을 확인하였다.

용매에 따른 폴리싸이오펜 치환체의 전기전도성에 미치는 영향 (Study on the Solvent Effect in the Coating of Conductive Polythiophene Derivative)

  • 전도성 고분자로 주목을 받고 있는 poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)- polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT/PSS)는 분산 용매에 따라서 전기적 특성이 변화한다. 본 논문에서는 고형으로 최근 시판되고 있는 PEDOT/PSS를 물, 에탄올 (EtOH), 에틸렌 글리콜 (EG) 및 디메틸설폭사이드 (DMSO)에 분산시킨 용액을 PET 필름 상에 코팅하여 표면 저항을 측정한 결과, EG 및 DMSO를 사용하였을 경우에 약 100배 정도 더 낮은 표면 저항치를 나타내었다. 코팅된 필름의 열적 특성 및 화학적 특성을 TGA 및 XPS로 분석한 결과, 용매에 따른 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 그러나 분산액 자체의 입도를 분석한 결과, EG 및 DMSO 용액에서는 $1-3{\mu}m$ 정도의 입자로 존재하였으나, 물에서는 $0.1{\mu}m$ 이하의 미세 입자로 존재하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 전기적 특성의 차이는 분산 상태에서의 PEDOT/PSS 입자 크기에 영향을 받는 것으로 판단된다.

현탁중합법에 의한 카본블랙을 함유하는 폴리뷰틸메타크릴레이트 복합체 입자의 합성 (Preparation of Poly(butyl methacrylate) Composite Beads containing Carbon Black by Suspension Polymerization)

  • 현탁중합법을 이용하여 카본블랙을 함유하는 폴리뷰틸메타크릴레이트 복합체 입자를 합성하였다. 물을 반응매체로 선택하고 소수성실리카를 안정제로 azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN)을 개시제로 선택하였다. 안정제의 농도는 물에 대하여 0.67 중량%에서 2.55 중량%까지 변화시켰으며, 개시제는 단량체에 대하여 0.25 중량%에서 3.00 중량%까지 변화시키면서 반응역학에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 모든 반응은 75$^{\circ}C$에서 진행하였다. 안정제의 농도는 반응속도에 무관하였으나, 개시제의 증가는 반응속도를 증가시켰다. 카본블랙을 단량체에 대하여 1, 3 및 5 중량% 유입하는 경우 반응전환율은 단계적으로 감소하였다. 폴리뷰틸메타크릴레이트 복합체 입자의 입경은 5-30 ${\mu}m$로 관찰되었다. 유리전이온도는 카본블랙의 유입 및 개시제, 안정제의 농도에 무관하게 23.8-24.7$^{\circ}C$로 측정되었다.

EPDM 및 실리콘 재질의 폴리머현수애자의 특성 비교 (The Comparison of EPDM and Silicone in Housing Materials of Polymeric Suspension Insulators)

  • In our country, the housing materials of polymeric outdoor insulators have mainly been used EPDM or silicone rubber. EPDM housing materials had been widely used in the field for the first time. The reason why silicone has the high cost of production. But recently, most of the manufacturers that newly developed polymeric insulators make its choice of silicone housing. EPDM showed a good resistance to tracking. We compared the various characteristics for EPDM and silicone insulators that have similar type and design. Silicone insulators have more performance in flashover voltage test and leakage current measurement because of a good water repellent than EPDM ones. Also, the property of EPDM compared with silicone insulators greatly decreased after aging test in combined acceleration ageing facilities for 1000 hours.

  • In this paper, dynamic track tension fur high mobility tracked vehicle is investigated by multibody dynamic simulation techniques. This research focuses on a heavy military tracked vehicle which has sophisticated suspension and rubber bushed rack systems. In order to obtain accurate dynamic track tension of track subsystems, each track link is modeled as a body which has six degrees of freedom. A compliant bushing element is used to connect track links. Various virtual proving ground models are developed to observe dynamic changes of the track tension. Numerical studies of the dynamic track tension are validated against the experimental measurements. The effects of pre-tensions, traction forces, fuming resistances, sprocket torques, ground profiles, and vehicle speeds, for dynamic responses of track tensions are explored, respectively.

  • The suspension of the optical pickup actuator is damped by the presence of silicone rubber damper bond at its termination. In spite of the presence of it, the actuator still exhibits a strong mechanical resonance which affects its settling time and vibrational characteristics. This resonance can cause errors in reading information from the disk, particularly in high speed CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives. Ferrofluids are stable colloidal suspensions of sub-micron sized magnetic particles in a carrier liquid. In the actuator design, ferrofluid is applied to the surface of the magnets until the quantity is sufficient to maintain intimate contact with the bobbin/carrier assembly. The fluid is retained in the magnetic field and its viscosity provides the desired mechanical damping to the moving assembly, improving the actuators settling time and vibrational characteristics. Access time is also improved, particularly on warped or eccentric discs.

철도차량용 공기스프링 실차시험 및 신뢰성 평가 (Reliability Evaluation of Air Spring for Railway Vehicle)

  • Air spring system was widely accepted for railway vehicle secondary suspension to reduce and absorb the vibration and noise. The low natural frequency ensures a comfortable ride and an invariably good stiffness. In this paper, the characteristics and durability test was conducted in laboratory by using servo-hydraulic fatigue testing system to reliability evaluation of air spring for electric railway vehicle. The experimental results show that the characteristics and durability of domestically developed productions are shown in good results. And to guarantee the adaption of air spring, the ride comfort and air pressure variation were measured in train test on subway line.

승용차 실내소음의 전달경로 해석 (Transfer Path Analysis on the Passenger Car Interior Noise)

  • Structure-borne noise is an important aspect to consider during the design and development of a vehicle. In this work. it was desired to identify the primary paths associated with structure-borne noise generated from the engine and front suspension. An experimental source-path-receiver model was used to characterize the system. A variety of primary sources such as engine. tires or exhaust system generate vibrations of the inner surfaces of the passenger compartment of a vehicle which subsequently radiate noise. The source was characterized by the force acting at the engine-to-body interface. and the path was characterized by pressure over force FRF's. The excitation forces were indirectly determined using dynamic stiffness of rubber mount or the system accelerance matrix. Through these analysis, path contribution diagram which is well expressed primary noise path is obtained.

  • In this paper, a new uni-axial bushing model for vehicle dynamics analysis is proposed. Bushing components of a vehicle suspension system are tested to capture the nonlinear and hysteric behavior of the typical rubber bushing elements using the MTS machine. The results of the tests are used to develop the Bouc-Wen bushing model. The Bouc-Wen model is employed to represent the hysteretic characteristics of the bushing. ADAMS program is used for the identification process and VisualDOC program is also used to find the optimal coefficients of the model. Genetic algorithm is employed to carry out the optimal design. A numerical example is suggested to verify the performance of the proposed model.

차량용 HDD 의 수동형 진동저감 시스템 설계 (Design of Passive Vibration Attenuation System for a Vehicle HDD)

  • The shock performance of hard disk drives has been a serious issue for Car PC. Since the vibration and disturbances from a car gives an adverse effect on a HDD of Car PC, it is necessary to protect a HDD from them. In this study, passive vibration attenuation system for a vehicle HDD was developed. Acceleration from the ground through the tire and suspension system was measured to figure out the frequency translated to Car PC. Critical frequency to Car PC was determined by exciting it with a shaker and measuring a data transmitting speed from HDD. A newly designed vibration attenuation system was fabricated to protect HDD from the acceleration. It was shown that the developed system had an excellent vibration attenuation ability.
