동결융해작용을 받는 암반사면의 안정성해석에 관한 연구 (Study on Stability Analysis of Rock Slope Under Freezing-Thawing Cycle)

  • Rock slopes along the road or railroad are affected by temperature and therefore experienced iterative freezing-thawing process between winter and early spring. The purpose of this study is to analyze the stability of rock slopes which are influenced by the deterioration due to the freezing-thawing. The analysis is the homogenization method which evaluates the strength property of discontinuous rock mass, and as a strength failure criterion, Drucker-Prager failure criterion is used. The deterioration property of real rock is obtained by a freezing-thawing laboratory test of tuff and this property of deterioration is quantitated and used as a basic data of stability analysis for rock mass. To evaluate the deterioration depth due to the freezing-thawing in situ rock slope, one dimensional heat conductivity equation is used and as the result I can find that the depth of which is affected by a temperature. After the freezing-thawing depth of model slope is determined, we analyze the pattern of rock mass stength value of rock slope model which excesses the limit of self-load.

강원지역 동상 피해조사를 통한 동결심도 산정 연구 (A Study on Compute of Freezing Depth through Frost Damage Investigation in Gangwon Region)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 동상피해 발생지역 중 동결지수가 높은 강원산간지역의 콘크리트도상 현장에 대하여 동상피해 원인과 동결심도를 분석하고 동결심도 자료를 바탕으로 콘크리트도상의 동결심도 산정식 및 강원지역의 동결심도 산정식을 고찰하였다. 강원산간지역의 콘크리트도상 동결심도와 강원지역의 동결심도 경향성을 비교한 결과 콘크리트도상은 동결지수 400(℃×일)이하에서는 동결심도가 강원지역의 동결심도보다 높게 나타났으며, 동결지수400(℃×일)이상의 구간에서는 강원 지역의 동결심도가 콘크리트도상의 동결심도보다 높게 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 강원지역의 동결심도 산정식을 제시하여 강원지역의 철도 및 도로 건설사업 시 동상 방지대책 수립에 활용될 수 있도록 기초자료를 제공하였다.

  • 화학적 첨가제를 이용한 안정처리는 지반의 강도증가 및 변형발생을 제어하기 위한 방법으로 깊은 심도까지 광범위하게 적용되어 지고 있다. 화학적 안정처리의 기본목적은 지반의 강도증가, 압축성 감소, 팽창특성 등을 개선하여 지반의 내구성을 증가시키는 것이며, 최근 들어 환경친화적이며 혼합체의 특성 및 혼합속도를 효율적으로 개선한 다양한 형태의 진보적인 시멘트 혼화재가 개발되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 농어촌도로(농도)의 효율적인 포장공법 개발을 위하여 시멘트혼화재를 활용하는 방안을 연구하였으며, 혼화재 종류 및 배합비에 따른 다짐시험, 일축압축강도시험, 동결융해시험 및 휨강도시험을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과에 따르면, 실트질 원지반토가 점토지반에 비해 강도증가 및 동결융해특성이 우수하며, 액상형 시멘트 혼화재가 분말형태 보다 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 저배합에서도 고강도의 품질을 발휘하여 농어촌도로 표층 내구성 저하를 개선할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

폴리프로필렌 섬유보강 에코콘크리트의 동결융해 특성 (Freezing and Thawing Properties of Polypropylene Fiber Reinforced Eco-concrete)

  • This study is performed to evaluate freezing and thawing properties of polypropylene fiber reinforced eco-concrete using soil, natural coarse aggregate, soil compound and polypropylene fiber. The mass loss ratio is decreased with increasing the content of natural coarse aggregate and soil compound, but it is increased with increasing the content of polypropylene fiber. The ultrasonic pulse velocity, dynamic modulus of elasticity and durability factor are increased with increasing the content of natural coarse aggregate and soil compound, but it is decreased with increasing the content of polypropylene fiber. The mass loss ratio, ultrasonic pulse velocity, dynamic modulus of elasticity and durability factor are $1.49{\sim}3.32%,\;1,870{\sim}2,465\;m/s,\;77X10^2{\sim}225X10^2\;MPa\;and\;84.6{\sim}92.8$ after freezing and thawing 300 cycles, respectively. These eco-concrete can be used for environment-friendly side walk and farm road.

투수성 폴리머 콘크리트의 동결융해 저항성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Freezing and Thawing Resistance of Permeable Polymer Concrete)

  • Permeable polymer concrete in this study is one of the environment conscious concrete that can be applied at road, side walks and river embankment, etc. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of mix proportions such as resing content, filler-binder ratio and aggregate ratio on the freezing and thawing resistance of permeable polymer concrete. The permeable polymer concrete are prepared with the resin ratio of 5%, 6% and 7%, filler-binder ratio of 0, 0.5 and 1.0, and 2.5~5mm sized aggregate ratio to standard sand of 10:10, 10:20, 20:10 and 20:20. It is tested for freezing and thawing test according to ASTM C 666092, and then, weight change, length change, relative dynamic modulus, durability factor, and compressive and flexural strengths after test are measured. From the test results, the resistance to freezing and thawing of permeable polymer concrete increased with increase the resing content, filler-binder ratio and fine aggregate ratio.

제강 슬래그를 이용한 콘크리트의 동결융해에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Freezing and Thawing of Concrete Mixed with Steel Slag)

  • The steel slag, a by-product which is produced on the process of manufacturing steel by refining pig iron is mainly used as road materials after aging it. It is necessary to age steel slag for long time in air because the reaction with water and free-CaO in steel slag could make the volume expanded. Due to this reason it prevents steel slag from being used as aggregate of concrete. But steel slag used in this study is controled by a air-jet method which rapidly cools substance melted at a high temperature. Rapid cooling prevents from generating of free-CaO in steel slag. In this study, it was investigated that steel slag manufactured by air-jet method affects on concrete in the freezing and thawing. As results of this study, concrete mixed with steel slag was worse in the freezing and thawing than concrete mixed with sand in spite of using air entraining agent. To obtain durability of concrete in the freezing and thawing, it is desirable to mix 50% of steel slag in concrete per unit weight of volume.

도로포장 현장계측 온도데이터를 이용한 도로포장체의 동결깊이 연구 (A Study on The Frost Penetration Depth of Pavement with Field Temperature Data)

  • 포장의 동결깊이는 30년간의 기온자료를 분석하여 만든 동결지수를 근거로 하여 동상방지층의 두께를 결정한다. 본 연구에서의 현장계측 지역은 동결지수에 따라 동결지수 550~650$^{\circ}C{\cdot}$일, 450~550$^{\circ}C{\cdot}$일, 350~450$^{\circ}C{\cdot}$일로 구분하여 지역을 선정하였고, 각 지역별로 절토부, 절성경계부, 저성토부(2m 이하 성토부) 구간으로 단면을 구분하였다. 각 단면에 동상방지층 유 무를 구분하여 포장층별로 계측기(온도, 함수비)를 설치하고 데이터를 수집하였다. 현장 모니터링 시스템을 통하여 수집된 데이터 분석을 통하여 포장된 도로의 동결깊이를 결정하는데 이용할 수 있다. 연구 결과, 동상방지층이 없을 경우 동결지수 550~650$^{\circ}C{\cdot}$일 지역에서는 대기온도에 따라 겨울철 노상층의 온도가 $0^{\circ}C$ 이하로 나타났고, 동결지수 450~550$^{\circ}C{\cdot}$일 지역에서는 지역별로 상이했으며, 동결지수 350~450$^{\circ}C{\cdot}$일 지역에서는 동상방지층이 없어도 노상층의 온도가 $0^{\circ}C$ 이하로 나타나지 않았다. 또한, 포장 단면별로 동결깊이를 비교한 결과 대기온도에 따라 동결깊이는 절토부가 가장 높았으며, 절성경계부, 저성토부 순으로 단면별 차이가 나타났다.

열화상카메라를 이용한 블랙아이스 특성 연구 (Characteristics of Black Ice Using Thermal Imaging Camera)

  • In this study, a study was conducted to develop a system for predicting/responding to black ice occurring on roads in winter. Tests conditions were studied by making models of cement concrete pavement and asphalt concrete pavement. In order to freeze water on the manufactured model package, an tests was conducted at a temperature below zero using a freezer, and the freezing process was photographed using a thermal imaging camera. Black ice is generated when water is present on the road surface and the temperature is below freezing or the road surface temperature is below the dew point temperature. Under sub-zero conditions, the pavement, water, and ice were classified with a thermal imaging camera. As a result of the tests, it was possible to distinguish with a thermal imaging camera at a temperature below freezing in the same freezer due to the difference in the emissivity of the packaging, water, and ice. In the process of changing from water to ice during the tests, it was analyzed that ice and water were clearly distinguished by the thermal imaging camera due to the difference in emissivity and reflectance, so black ice could be predicted using the thermal imaging camera.

Arduino Sensor based on Traffic Safety System using Intelligence

  • In 2015, 100-car pileup was happened because the safe distance from the car in front did not be kept due to much fog at YoungJong Bridge in South Korea. This is why the road would be benumbed with cold weather in winter. For this weather condition, if the driver of the car in front changed the lane suddenly or suddenly slammed on the brake in fog or freezing area, the braking distance of the real car has to be 2 or 3 times longer than usual. In this paper, we have simulated the function that warns and notice about the fog area or the freezing one in the road using Arduino sensors and Beacon. Also we propose the intelligent traffic system to protect the accidents in winter.

PHP를 이용한 도로융설 시스템에 관한 기초연구 (A Basic Study of the Snow Melting System for the Anti-Freezing Road using the Pulsating Heat Pipe)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a snow melting system using the pulsating heat pipe(PHP). The experimental apparatus is consisted of a PHP, a concrete structure, a constant water thermostatic bath and a flowmeter. The experiment was performed at the outdoor air temperature of $-8^{\circ}C$ and inlet temperature of hot water of $75^{\circ}C$. PHP is the closed and non-loop type heat exchanger which is charging R-410A as an operating fluid. As experimental results, the temperature profile of vertical and horizontal orientation of concrete structure was measured with operating time. The heat flux of the snow melting was required more than 300 $W/m^2$. We confirmed that the snow melting system using the PHP was useful for anti-freezing road.
