대용량 알루미늄 라이너의 성형을 위한 역 드로잉 공정 해석 및 실험 (Simulation and Experimental Investigation of Reverse Drawing Process for Manufacture of High-Capacity Aluminum Liner)

  • 대용량 알루미늄 라이너의 제작을 위해 역 드로잉 공정을 적용하였고, 최적의 역 드로잉 공정 설계에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. $350^{\circ}C$의 어닐링된 Al6061의 인장시험 및 해석을 수행하여 라이너 성형 해석을 위한 대변형률에서의 유동응력 및 연성파괴지수를 구하였다. 역드로잉 공정의 유한요소해석을 수행하여 금형의 형상, 블랭크 홀딩력, 드로잉비, 금형간의 간격, 부분가열영향에 대해 분석하였다. 유한요소해석을 통해 주름 및 파단을 방지하는 최적의 조건을 도출하여 시제품을 제작하였으나, 드로잉된 컵의 끝부분에서 부분적인 파단이 발생하였다. 하지만 후속공정을 적용하기 위한 충분한 길이가 확보되어 플로우 포밍, 스피닝 공정을 적용하여 최종제품을 제작하였다.

역설계를 통해 BIM 구축시에 3D 모델링에 대한 세밀도(LoD) 정립 - 지상 LiDAR 활용한 3D 모델링 연구 중심 - (Definition of 3D Modeling Level of Detail in BIM Regeneration Through Reverse Engineering - Case Study on 3D Modeling Using Terrestrial LiDAR -)

  • When it comes to set up the BIM through the reverse engineering, the level of detail(LoD) required for finalized outcomes is different from each purpose. Therefore, it is necessary to establish some concrete criteria which describe the definition of LoDs on 3D modeling for the purpose of each reverse engineering. This research shows the criteria of the 1) positional accuracy, 2) generalization level, 3) scale level, 4) scope of description, and 5) the area available for application by classifying LoD from 1 to 6 on 3D modeling for each purpose of reverse engineering. Moreover, through applying those criteria for the 3D point cloud dataset of building made by terrestrial LiDAR, this research finds out the working hour of 3D modeling of reverse engineering by each LoDs according to defined LoD criteria for each level. It is expected that those findings, how those criteria of LoD on reverse engineering are utilized for modeling-workers to decide whether the outcomes can be suitable for their budget, applicable fields or not, would contribute to help them as a basic information.

  • Many various products are manufactured which have sculptured surfaces recently. Constructing surface of these models is required technique called reverse engineering. In reverse engineering, a product which has sculptured surfaces is measured and we create surface model to acquire complete model data of object. Measured point data needs preprocess and sampling. Next a set of point data in a plane fit section curve. At last, surface is generated by fitting to section curves. Here we uses sweep surface. Sweep surface is compatible fitting CAD model to drawing. This paper discusses converting approximation of NURBS surface as a standard surface.

  • Reverse engineering enables a fast creation of CAD model from an existing part without any technical drawing or digital data. This method of data acquisition is necessary in several industrial applications when the modification of an existing product design has to be performed and verified afterwards. In this paper, the surface of an existing ship propeller was measured by a tactile measuring system and the acquired point data of the surface were used for modeling of a solid model in CAD system. By using LOM and casting processes, an aluminum propeller for functional test was manufactured and then its accuracy was measured by a laser scanner and compared with the origin릴 CAD data. As the results show, the use of LOM as a rapid prototyping process and casting as a secondary process delivers a functional prototype propeller which can be used for test purposes.

Re-production of Digital Cultural Heritage and Acquisition of Two Dimensional Drawing Maps for the Cultural Heritage by the Reverse Engineering Technology

  • After the 'Guidelines for the preservation of digital heritage' were published by UNESCO, interests in the fabrication of digital cultural heritage have been increasing throughout the world. The present study was intended to fabricate digital cultural heritages for existing cultural properties using the reverse engineering technology and obtain two-dimensional drawings. Jinju Castle Gongbukmun, which is a cultural property, was selected as a study subject and 3D modeling of Jinju Castle Gongbukmun was conducted by implementing 3D scanning and processing the point cloud data. Using the Gongbukmun 3D model (3D-Gongbukmun) made as such, requirements as a digital heritage were reviewed and 2D drawings of Gongbukmun such as front views, ground plans, and side views could be prepared.

Forward osmosis membrane filtration for microalgae harvesting cultivated in sewage effluent

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of forward osmosis (FO) system for harvesting microalgae cultivated in secondary sewage effluent. Microalgae species used in this study were chlorella sp. ADE4. The drawing agents used for forward osmosis system were seawater and concentrate of sea water reverse osmosis (SWRO) system. Chlorella sp. ADE4 cultured in secondary sewage effluent illustrated moderate efficiency in removal of total nitrogen (TN) (68%) and superior performance in total phosphorus (TP) removal (99%). Comparison of seawater and SWRO concentrate as drawing agent were made in FO membrane separation of the microalgae. The result from this study depicts that SWRO concentrate is strong drawing agent in FO membrane system providing an average dewatering rate of $4.8L/(m^2{\cdot}hr)$ compared to seawater with average dewatering of $2.9L/(m^2{\cdot}hr)$. Results obtained from this study indicated that FO system could be viable option for harvesting the microalgae for further biodiesel production. SWRO concentrate as a drawing agent could be very important finding in field of membrane technology for disposal of SWRO concentrate.

지상LiDAR를 이용한 터널의 Reverse Engineering (Tunnel Reverse Engineering Using Terrestrial LiDAR)

  • 지상LiDAR는 토탈스테이션에 비해 신속한 측량이 가능하기 때문에 터널의 내공단면 측량을 적기에 수행하고 중심선 오차와 여 미굴량 발생을 최소화할 수 있는 강점을 가지고 있어 지상LiDAR를 이용한 터널의 내공단면 측량 및 계측이 점점 증대되고 있으며 보다 효율적이고 정확한 지상LiDAR 활용을 위한 연구도 활발하게 진행 중이다. 현재 일반적으로 터널의 여 미굴량을 계산할 때 사용되는 양단면 평균법의 경우 기존 측량 방식인 토탈스테이션 및 사진측량 등과의 비교는 많이 이루어졌으나 터널 전체의 3차원 위치정보를 얻을 수 있는 지상LiDAR를 이용하여 터널의 내공단면을 측량 체적 및 여 미굴량을 구할 때 관측간격에 따른 기준이 없는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시험터널에 대한 reverse engineering을 실시하여 터널 내공단면 측량 시 터널단면의 체적을 비교하여 가장 합리적인 간격을 결정하고 이 결과를 토대로 현재 설계 데이터가 존재하지 않는 시험터널에 대한 CAD도면을 제작하였다. 또한 지상LiDAR 기술의 정확도를 검증하기 위하여 토탈스테이션과의 비교를 통하여 타겟좌표 정확도, 입사각에 따른 정확도 분석을 실시하였다.

유압시험기 swivel joint의 개발 (Development of swiver joint on hydraulic machine)

  • The swivel joint is an important part in hydraulic machine. The analysis on the material was made using the EDAX method to localize the swivel joint. Also, the modeling and design drawing were finalized with application of 3 dimensional measurement and structure analysis. The prototype product based on design drawing was made with cutting and grinding process. No abnormalities were found in the prototype product through the durability test and measurement. The localized swivel joint with light weight, price reduction and diversification was developed in this study.

  • 연구의 목적은 3차원 역설계 기술을 기반으로 MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) 시설물 유지관리 작업의 효율성을 개선할 수 있는 방안을 도출하는 것이다. 최근, 3차원 이미지 스캔 기반 역설계 기술이 건설, 건축, 구조, 플랜트 분야에서 많이 활용되고 있다. 특히, 객체 수가 많고, 형태가 복잡한 MEP 설비의 경우, 여러 번의 시설물 관리 작업으로 인해 도면과 상이한 경우가 많아, 최근 반도체 공장, 플랜트, 빌딩 MEP 등을 중심으로 많이 활용되고 있다. 3차원 이미지 스캔을 통해 획득된 3차원 포인트 클라우드는 대상물의 정밀한 3차원 정보를 포함하고 있어, 이를 잘 활용한다면, 시설물 관리 등 다양한 유스케이스에 필요한 객체 정보를 추출할 수 있다. 특히, 형태가 복잡한 MEP 시설물 관리 작업의 효율성을 개선할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이와 관련된 기술 동향을 조사하고, 이를 기반으로 3차원 역설계 프로세스를 분석한다. 분석한 결과를 바탕으로, MEP 시설물 관리 작업의 개선 방안을 도출하고, 그 효과를 기술한다.

Utilizing 3D Laser Scanning Technology for Remodeling Work of Building Inside

  • Laser scanning technology is a maturing measurement technology which is capable of obtaining 3D measurement data of objects with high-accuracy, high-resolution and in a short time. Laser scanners are used more and more as surveying instruments for various applications. This paper describes the procedure of 3D data acquirement using terrestrial LiDAR and section drawing extraction through a series of processing for remodeling the interior of a department building. Accurate drawings are needed for improvement construction of building interior. However if the design drawings of that time of construction work were lost or damaged or actual dimensions of drawings differ from those of design drawings, the interior should be resurveyed. In this study, the extraction process of interior plane figures were suggested through using laser scanning and related reverse engineering software
