Recent development in wireless computing and GPS technology cause the active development in the application system of location information in real-time environment such as transportation vehicle management, air traffic control and location based system. Especially, study about vehicle location tracking system, which monitors the vehicle's position in a control center, is appeared to be a representative application system. However, the current vehicle location tracking system can not provide vehicle position information that is not stored in a database at a specific time to users. We designed a vehicle location tracking system that could track vehicle location using mobile interface such as PDA. The proposed system consist of a vehicle location retrieving server and a mobile interface. It is provide not only the moving vehicle's current location but also the position at a past and future time which is not stored in database for users.

In a design-to-manufacturing environment, the product data is shared by various CAD/CAM/CAE systems with little integration or substantial data redundancy. The main purpose of this paper is to build a database containing all the features required for STEP-NC machining and to show how a STEP-NC repository can support the complete process for machining. A STEP-NC database schema has been constructed and several query functions have been built for the purpose of implementing the retrieving system of a STEP-NC database. The EXPRESS data model of ISO 14649 has been mapped to the database data definition language of the Oracle database. To apply the STEP-NC database to an industry example, the ISO 14649 part program has been stored into the STEP-NC database. To implement example scenarios, the sample query interface has been built.

Many studies have reported an age-related decline in the ability to spell words correctly. The aim of this study was to investigate the deterioration on retrieving orthographic knowledge in 64 normal elderly Korean persons. The subjects were 64 in total: they were composed of 22 persons in their 50s, 20 persons in their 60s, and 22 persons in their 70s or older. We instructed them to write from a dictation of 60 words stimuli (20 regular words, 20 irregular words, 20 nonwords). Older adults made more errors than younger adults, and the age-related decline in performance was greater for irregular than regular and nonwords. With respect to the error pattern in the irregular words, the subjects showed more phonological plausible errors than phonological implausible errors. The number of self-correction was high in nonwords. Based on the results, we found that aging differentially affects the retrieval of orthographic knowledge on regular, irregular and nonwords.

We design as well as implement MRTG++ enhanced by eliminating drawbacks of original MRTG. Existing MRTG makes it easy to monitor network resources on the web, and it can show some trend utilization about resources of remote systems. However MRTG has only functions showing statistical information data with daily/monthly/yearly characteristics in real-time, and periodically deletes stored data. Thus we improve log file-based storing method as an effectivelly storing method with database, propose expended MRTG++ retrieving as well as managing with measured data. It also can be applied in ubiquitous environment.

As development of digital technology, many kinds of multimedia data are used variously and requirements for effective use by user are increasing. In order to transfer information fast and precisely what user wants, effective retrieval method is required. As existing multimedia data are impossible to apply the MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 technologies which are aimed at compression, store and transmission. So MPEG-7 is introduced as a new technology for effective management and retrieval of multimedia data. In this paper, we extract content-based features using color descriptor among the MPEG-7 standardization visual descriptor, and reduce feature data applying PCA(Principal Components Analysis) technique. We model the cerebral cortex and hippocampal neural network in engineering domain, and team content-based feature vectors fast and apply the hippocampal neural network algorithm to compose of optimized feature. And then we present fast and precise retrieval effect when indexing and retrieving.

최근 빠른 주기로 많은 양의 새로운 정보가 생성되기 때문에, 사용자 중심의 정보 검색을 위해 RSS라는 신디케이션 기술이 제공되고 있다. RSS는 새롭게 갱신된 콘텐츠를 자동으로 전달받을 수 있어 신규 정보를 찾기 위해 사이트에 지속적으로 접근하지 않아도 된다. 본 논문에서는 블로그 정보 검색을 위해 RSS 문서의 주소를 수집하는 수집기와 사용자 질의에 따른 RSS 문서의 순위결정 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 정보 검색 기법을 이용하면 사용자가 RSS 문서를 효과적으로 검색할 수 있다.

In this work, we present the novel scheduling algorithm of the multimedia data retrieval for the mobile disk drive. Our algorithm is focused on minimizing the power consumption involved in data retrieval from the local disk drive. The prime commodity in mobile devices is the electricity. Strict restriction on power consumption requirement of the mobile device put unique demand in designing of its hardware and software components. State of the art disk based storage subsystem becomes small enough to be embedded in handhold devices. It delivers abundant storage capacity and portability. However, it is never be trivial to integrate small hard disk or optical disk drive in handhold devices due to its excessive power consumption. Our algorithm ARM in this article generates the optimal schedule of retrieving data blocks from the mobile disk drive while guaranteeing continuous playback of multimedia data.

MEMS 가속도계는 운동측정을 위하여 가속도신호를 해석하는 저비용의 방안이다. 이론적으로 변위는 가속도신호를 두 번 적분함으로서 계산될 수 있으나 실제적으로는 실제 존재하는 여러 가지 원인에 의해서 이 방법으로는 계산 될 수가 없다. 본 실험은 실제적인 가속도신호를 획득하여 저주파 운동해석을 위하여 처리하는 과정에 대하여 보여준다.

RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) is a method of remotely storing and retrieving data using devices called 'RFID tags'. An RFID tag is a small object, such as an adhesive sticker, that can be attached to or incorporated into a product. RFID tags contain antennas to enable them to receive and respond to radio-frequency queries fro an RFID transceiver. Eventually, RFID SYSTEM is very interesting to watch people live linger than they used to before. Some of reasons for that phenomenon is the improving medical studies. As we live healthier and get to know more about our body, we can extend our lives. This Platform is Physical Health Promotion Service, Home Health Monitoring Service, Mental Health Promotion Service, Home Patient Management Service, Chronic Disease Management Service, Emergency Patient Management Service, Medical Information and Consulting Service of the RFID.

For an efficient operation of today's power system, power engineers are required to analyze enormous amount of data. Owing to the development of technology, a variety of power systems computational tools have been developed and commercialized. However, the practical use of computational tools not only requires that people be able to understand the results the tools produce but also extract the required information from the simulation results which generally involves massive amount of information. This paper introduces a novel interface that would complement the drawbacks in the visualization of data of the pre-existing tools and assist the user in readily retrieving the required information, in this case the rotor angle data, of the simulated system thereby making power system analysis more feasible to be effectuated.
