Conventional disaster resources management systems among the several institutes are not mutually connected. In case of NDMS(National Disaster Management System), the data of the system is confined to the resources of the local governments and not connected with any other disaster resource management systems. Therefore, it is difficult to find the needed resources, when the large scale disaster is occurred. In this paper, we developed the integrated model of the distributed resources management framework considering the current resource management environment among the institutes. It is loosely coupling model under the centralized system, called IDRM(Integrated Disaster Resource Manager). The system will be verified with the test sites including Korea Expressway Corporation, JeonBuk local government, and Korea Construction Equipment Association. Via the field testing, the system will be the base of the real available system in the future.

Although the concept of viewing knowledge as a critical resource has been widely accepted in prior studies, it is not fully understood how to acquire available knowledge in order to improve organizational effectiveness. However, it si sure that organizational knowledge management should pursuit the achievement of the business goal by delivering relevant and useful information to the right person at the right time. Group Support System (GSS) can play an important role to transfer scatter information into meaningful business knowledge for supporting strategic corporate decision-making. This study proposes a fuzzy GSS framework for acquiring workgroup knowledge from individual memory and aggregating workgroup knowledge to organizational knowledge. This study also proposes an architecture to support the fuzzy GSS framework. The architecture consists of user agents, information management agents, and a fuzzy model manager. To illustrate how the fuzzy GSS framework can be used to support the whole process of organization knowledge acquisition, an Internet-based GSS was developed and applied in a marketing decision process. It showed that the framework was effective for acquiring organizational knowledge.

Grid computing represents the fundamental computing shift from a localized resource computing model to a fully-distributed virtual organization with shared resources. Accounting is one of the main obstacles to widespread adoption of the grid. Accounting has until recently, been a sparsely-addressed problem, particularly in practice. In this paper, we design and implement the accounting information gathering system. Implemented system is based on OGSA, following GSAX framework of RUS-WG in GGF. And the schema of gathered and serviced accounting information is following Usage Record Fields of UR-WG in GGF. Also, the accounting information integrating and monitoring tool for system management in the grid environment are implemented.

Purpose - Prior theories expect a lower marginal value of cash for weak governance firms. To test this hypothesis, we examine the relationship between corporate governance structures and marginal cash values in Korean retail firms. Research design, data, and methodology - We estimate marginal cash values based on the model of Faulkender & Wang (2006). The retail firms listed in Korean Stock Exchange from 2005 to 2013 are analyzed. Corporate governance scores are provided by Korean Corporate Governance Services. Results - We show a higher marginal value of cash for the weak governance retail firms in terms of total governance score. Our analysis on a detailed set of governance scores generally confirms this tendency. Yet, a higher marginal cash value is obtained for the firms with better board structures and dividend policies. Conclusions - Our findings argue against the agency view of cash policy predicting a negative relationship between corporate governance scores and marginal cash values. A low marginal value of cash, widely observed in the sample firms, also supports severe resource diversion problem in Korean corporations.

It is very difficult to construct and manager public transit, like subway, in small city. In this paper, we suggest full electric vehicle sharing service framework as a public transit system in small city. The suggested system will reduce environment pollution and increase resource usage efficiency. The simulation result shows that the suggested electric vehicle sharing system can reduce traffic congestion and lower city road stress.

This study analyzed the relationships among perceptions of uncertainty, environmental characteristics and strategy maker\`s actual decision such as resource allocation in different organizational subunits by focusing on the hotel general managers in two different countries Korea and Japan. The results show that managerial perceptions of the environment would vary across organizations within an industry but it was surprising to fad that managerial perceptions did not vary more substantially across countries. General managers in both countries perceived government regulator\`s actions to be the most uncertain environmental factor. Hotels in Japan were more geared toward external effectiveness than were hotels in Korea. The findings of this study also suggest that when the organization faces high environmental uncertainty, it places greater emphasis on extemally oriented functions such as market research and product development.

Railway system which has latent loss of lives and property by big accident with that human error such as locomotive driver, manager, signaller, and the others involved. So human error management is needed to control this complex system and to confirm safety of it. Rail human error research for managing human resource has grown rapidly in both quantity and quality of output over the past few years. The continual influences of safety concerns, new technical system opportunities, reorganization of the business, needs to increase effective, reliable and safe use of capacity, and increased society, media and government interest have now accelerated rail human factors research programmes in several countries. The objective of this research is to improve safety and to reduce accidents in korean railway system, through the application of research results to the investigation of requirement for human error.

In order to keep global competitiveness, most of small and medium size manufacturing companies require to equip a product information management system which collects and analyzes the data generated at the manufacturing lines and then provides information for manager or worker to make a decision. However, these companies have a cost problem for adopting the enterprise resource planning system mostly used in large companies. To overcome this problem, we suggest an IOCP-based server for the product information management system suitable for small and medium size manufacturing companies. The basic concept of suggested server is that it is possible to process concurrently the connection requests coming from data collector and client by using the facility of asynchronous notification of OS and protect a server against overload by using the thread pool.

Many of Korea major companies have appled as strategy of management innovation Six Sigma, Lean and Theory of Constraints. Six Sigma has mainly focused to reduce variation. Lean has mainly focused to reduce wastes and Theory of Constraints has mainly focused that bottleneck of constrains production and sales. This bottleneck is caused by constraint resources and it should be the main role of manager to explore constraint resource. Although their mainly focus are different, they are used to improve productivity and quality. In this paper, as strategy of management innovation, study on analysis and comparison plan of Six Sigma, Lean and Theory of Constraints. From the literature survey and application cases, it is suggested and discussed that how to plan of application as strategy of management innovation successfully. The suggested plan of application could be a good guideline that it could be a apply of companies.

현재의 인터넷망을 이용하여 음성, 화상 정보를 실시간으로 이용하고자 하는 다양한 응용이 시도되어 왔다. 인터넷망이 최선의 노력(best effort)만을 제공하기 때문에 발생되는 신뢰성과 지연의 문제는 이미 많은 연구가 있어왔고 현재 어느 정도의 서비스 품질을 획득하여 인터넷폰과 같은 서비스가 실제로 이용되고 있다. 그러나 무선 통신의 경우는 이에 더하여 무선 구간에서의 자원 할당의 문제가 남아 있다. 본 연구에서는 코어 망으로 인터넷 프로토콜을 사용하는 차세대 망에서, 무선 이동단말 간의 멀티미디어 서비스가 가능하도록 효율적인 주파수 할당을 지원하는 QoS 관리자를 설계하였다. 제안한 QoS(Quality of Service) 관리자는 요구 대역폭이 다른 멀티미디어 호 요청에 대해 융통성 있는 주파수 할당이 가능하도록 대국의 QoS 관리자와의 협상을 통해 제한된 범위 내에서 서비스 품질을 조절하여 보다 높은 서비스 수준을 유지할 수 있도록 한다.
