도시단독주택지 가로공간 계획을 위한 거주자 만족도 분석 연구 (A Study on the Residential Satisfaction Analysis for Street Space Design in Detached House Area)

  • This study surveys the degree of residents' satisfaction on the current street space to suggest alternatives for the improvement of the street space design in detached house areas. In the results of the survey, we find the following. First, in the result of analysis on age, residential term, having children or not, income level, and type of house ownership, residents are homogeneous in social and economic characteristics. There are similarity in geographical, locational conditions, neighboring facilities, deterioration of residential house, and the time of residential formation among residential areas. Second, satisfactory determinants of residents on street space according to street types, are maintenance, protection of privacy, and parking space. Third, satisfactory determinants of residents on street hierarchy is the inner circulation road while unsatisfactory one is the inner roads. Fourth, age, residential term and type of house ownership are significant factors influencing residents' satisfaction. Factors influencing satisfaction on street space are also affecting total satisfaction and factors associated with street environment are perceived more important ones than factors associated with street activities. Thus we find the degrees of satisfaction for residents on street type and street hierarchy are different despite that general characteristics of residents are similar. We also find residents consider street noise and maintenance as critical factor among physical factors of street space.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze a Characteristics of block formation and commercialization of residential books commercial area along urban arteries on Teheran-ro in Seoul. 도시거점내 제2종 일반주거지역 상업화 확산과 원인 분석 (A study on the commercialization cause of 2nd class residential area in urban center)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the commercialization cause of 2nd class residential area in urban center as basic research to protect urban residential area against the pressure of commercialization. Through the research that are based on literature, field survey and urban planning map, it analysed the commercialization cause of selected two sites under similar urban condition ; to be a nearby subway station and to be a famous commercial street in site, etc. The consequences of this study are summarized as follows ; First the distance between subway station and residential block and residential commercialization are in inverse proportion each other. Second, the corner lot of a block and the access street directly connected collector street are very important factors to spread commercialization to residential area. Finally, nevertheless first and second results, there is square zone which is very high rate of commercialization within one regardless the distance between subway and residential block. the maximum range of square zone is assumed about 250 meter based on case study.

역세권 제2종 일반주거지역 상업화 확산과 특성 분석 (A Study on the Commercialization Characteristics of 2nd Class Residential District in Inner-city Railway Station Area)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the commercialization characteristics of 2nd class residential district in innercity railway station area as basic research to protect urban residential area against the pressure of commercialization. Through the research that are based on literature, field survey and urban planning map, it analysed the commercialization characteristic of selected three sites under similar urban condition; to be a nearby subway station and to be a famous commercial street in site, etc. The consequences of this study are summarized as follows; First it finds the commercialized lots in all blocks that adjoin blocks of upper class zoning. Second it is in inverse proportion between the commercialization of lots and the distance from subway station to residential block. Third, the corner lot of a block and the access road directly connected collector road are very important factors to spread commercialization to residential area. Finally, it finds the difference of the commercialization degree of 2nd class residential zone according to arrange main commercial street and the 2nd class residential block; vertical arrangement and horizontal arrangement.

보행자.차량 점유율에 의한 주택지가로의 평가에 관한 연구 (Evaluation of Residential Street by Pedestrain and Vehicle Occupancy)

  • This study focuses on the evaluation of the streets on residential areas. For this purpose, pedestrain and vehicle occupancy indicators on residential areas are proposed, and vehicle, pedestrain flow and status of on-street parking on residential streets are analyzed. Also, according to the suggested occupancy indicator, occupancy status of pedestrain and vehicle are identified. At the end, evaluation of residential streets are conducted. The suggested occupancy indicator is a quantitative indicator which can represent the traffic situation on street. It can also be represente din the same dimension among pedestrain, vehicle flow, packed vehicle. Also, occupancy indicator can be utilized for the allocation and evaluation of transportation modes on residential street. Except on-street parking during the day time, moving vehicle occupancy rate contains the more than 80 precent when it is estimated based on the vehicle flow and pedestrain only. As the streets on residential area are occupied by the pedestrain approximately 20 percent during the day time, it is identified quantitatively that the necessity of space for pedestrain.

노상주차를 고려한 저층주거지 가로유형 분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Street Types in Low-rise Residential Areas Considering Street Parking)

  • 이 연구는 저층주거지 가로의 노상주차가 가로환경에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위한 사전 연구로서 실제 저층주거지를 대상으로 한 사례연구를 실시하였다. 우선, 이론적 배경과 선행연구 검토를 통해 저층주거지의 발생 배경과 변화 과정을 고찰하고, 주거지 가로환경에 영향을 주는 요소를 도출하였다. 다음으로, 선정기준을 바탕으로 송파구 방이2동의 주거지역을 사례 대상지로 선정하여 현장관찰을 실시한 후 가로, 건축물, 노상주차에 대한 현황분석을 실시하였다. 마지막으로, 앞서 분석한 결과를 바탕으로 저층주거지 가로의 위계와 건축물의 특성, 노상주차를 고려한 가로 유형화를 진행한 후 각 유형별 특성과 가로환경 개선을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다. 그 결과 노상주차는 사회적 합의가 이루어지기 어려운 주거지 가로에서 주로 발생하여 주거지 노상주차에 대한 대안 마련이 필요함을 시사하였다. 또한, 가로의 유형 분류 결과 동일한 지역의 이면도로라 할지라도 가로의 폭원과 저층부의 이용현황에 따라 다른 노상주차가 발생하고 그에 따른 해결방안이 필요함을 확인하였다.

  • This study aims to derive street design alternative which can be applied to residential area as the functions of land use have been changed. The main findings are as follows; First, the study area in this research is on the process of the functional transition from full residential use to residential-commercial mixed use with cafes and restaurants. Second, dead-end streets in residential areas needs to be widened in order to meet the increasing needs of pedestrians and cars. One of the suggested strategies is to remove fences on the dead-end streets. Third, based on the main findings, this research can suggest following policies. Citizen participation is necessary in building land use plans and space design in old residential areas. Citizens can participate in architectural and landscape contracts, district-unit plan with the help of experts such as urban planners and architects.

상업지역 생활도로 속도관리 시범운영 및 효과분석 (The Effects Analysis and Model Project on Speed Management in Commerical Area Street)

  • 본 연구는 생활도로 속도관리 방안으로 선진국에서 추진되고 있는 Zone 30 제도를 우리나라의 도로 및 교통여건에 맞게 도입하고, 시범운영을 통해 시행의 효과를 분석하는 동시에 시행상의 문제점을 분석하여 향후 제도 확산을 사전에 대비하고자 하였다. 시범운영지역으로 선정된 곳은 경찰청 T/F에서 현장 조사 및 전문가 의견을 수렴하여 상가 밀집지역 주변도로 중 편도 2차로 이내의 도로이며, 보행자 통행량이 많고 보행자 사고율 또는 위험성이 높은 경기 고양시 일산구 장항2동 (면적 $0.65km^2$)이다. 우선 Zone 30 제도 검토 측면에서 생활도로와 생활도로구역의 용어를 정의하고, 생활도로 유형화 및 운영방안을 수립하였으며, 시범사업은 대상지에 대한 정밀 조사를 통해 문제점 및 개선점을 도출하고, 그에 따른 시설개선도면을 작성하여 해당 지자체와 협의하여 시설을 설치완료하였다. 시설 설치 전과 후로 나누어 효과분석을 수행한 결과 차량 속도는 시행전에 비해 가로별로 5~15km/h 감소하였으며, 교통사고의 경우도 시행전 25건에서 시행후 19건으로 24%가 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 속도관리 사업의 시행과정이 빠르고 시설비용이 저렴해 전국적인 확산시행이 유리하여 보행자사고 감소에 실질적 기여가 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 시범사업 연구결과를 토대로 생활도로구역 속도관리 사업추진 방안 등을 제시하였다.

  • This study focused on the changes of residential area around the linear park. The goal of this study is to determine the value of linear park at the view of residents and discover the interaction between the linear park and the residential area around it. To investigate this goal, the researcher chose case sites, the regenerated linear park and the uncovered stream park. This study analyzed the site around the linear parks with four points of view, the organization of urban Fabric, architecture, the economic value of the site and the behavior of residents. This research adopted several research methodologies like aerial photograph analysis, road-view analysis, paper research, and field study, observation, and expert interview to approach as both quantitative and qualitative analysis. With that variation characteristic, the researcher determines the influence of linear park through the residential area around them. As the result, linear park gives positive effects of running sustainable residential area around them and acting as the pivot for the residential area. Also for the future, designers must consider this interactive relation between the linear park and residential area with the wide point of view.

동행여부와 보행속도를 고려한 노인의 근린가로환경 이용특성 해석 - 망원동 사례조사를 중심으로 - (Exploring Residential Street Environments through Walking Companions and Walking Speeds - A Case Study of Mang-won Neighborhoods with the Elderly Focus Group -)

  • This study was to evaluate the walking speed of elderly people by using the travel route big data collected by travel diary and smart phone application. We analyzed the change of walking behavior in the residential street environments of the elderly whether they had a company or not. We interpreted the meaning based on previous studies. In addition, the characteristics of elderly people's use of the residential street environment were analyzed by comparing the change in spatial speed according to the companion. The result reveals that the usage patterns of the residential street environments change depending on whether they were accompanied or not. First, the elderly tend to do more social activities while walking alone than when they were accompanied. When they were accompanied the social activities occur in empty lot near the residential area. However, the social activities of the elderly occur in open space such as neighborhood park or playground while walking alone. Finally, This study has strength that it empirically analyzes the elderly's walking behavior and usage paths in small outdoor spaces, including residential streets.
