Dynamic Index for a Versatile and Diverse Pilot Production Fab

  • We report how to establish the dynamic index for production control in a pilot fabrication over versatile and diverse production environments. We used dynamic index provided by a simulation model to monitor production performance. When production control is abnormal, the information system prompts administrators to classify these abnormal situations. In addition, the trend over the operation index is continuously reviewed in short-term and long-term. This simulation model is handy at setting goal for a versatile and diverse pilot production fab.

  • The work patterns in the organizations performing research and development projects consist of both administrative business with defined processes and knowledge-oriented research and development business with undefined or semidefined processes. This paper describes an enterprise portal model and its services aligned to research and development organization's work patterns. The proposed portal model is focused on constructing personalized workplaces providing knowledge-based services for research and development business, as well as business process management based services for administrative business. The further research will provide more concrete portal model and its applicability to research and development organization's business.

설계경기에 나타난 공공도서관 디자인에 관한 연구 - 개념 및 공간구성을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Design of the Public Library at the Architectural Competition - Focused on the Concept and the Organization of Space -)

  • The purpose of this study is to know the important design element for a public library, after analyzing design concept and organization of space of the prize winner at the architectural competition. To carry out the research, the best 31 works between the year of 2005 and 2010 were collected by the architectural magazine A&C published in every other month. During the research, special characters of each prize winner have been analyzed in the aspect of the design concept and the organization of space. While working on the design concept, a factor that created such concept was successfully figured out, and studying on the organization of space enabled us to know the special characters of the interior space. According to the result of the analysis in this study, the design elements which are selected highly frequent are ordered as follows; (1)organization of space, (2)function & shape, (3)circulation, (4)landscape, (5)symbolic aspect. Through the analysis for the organization of space, I reach a conclusion, the frequent type is a "PM-ES-CJ". The study is anticipated to be helpful in understanding the trends in the field of designing a public library, and it is also likely for an architect to use it as a reference.

  • Purpose - Leadership style is an important factor in determining the attitude and behavior of employees and their satisfaction with an organization. Contributing the efficiency of an organization, Especially, servant leadership focusing on meeting employees' hopes and desires positively affect success of the organization and performance of employees. In the airline service industry it is necessary to conduct studies for an internal marketing on servant leadership that emphasizes the trust in the dignity of humans and spirit of service to subordinates as a factor affecting the job satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology -Therefore, in this research, it is empirically analyzed that employees' perception of a supervisor's support plays mediating role in the relationship between employees' perception of servant leadership and perception of an organization's support using multiple and hierarchal regression analysis targeting 243 employees working in D Airline. Result - As a result, Employees' employees' perceived supervisor's support mediates the relationship between employees' perceived servant leadership of a supervisor and employees' perceived organizational support. Conclusions - This study suggests that the servant leadership of a supervisor perceived by employees constitutes an important preceding variable in enhancing the employees' perception on organizational support.

조직 내 정보보안 기술스트레스 완화와 준수의도 (The Mitigation of Information Security Related Technostress and Compliance Intention)

  • Purpose As information management grows in importance around the world, organizations are investing in information security technology. However, the higher the level of information security technology in an organization, the higher the techno-stress of employees. The purpose of this study is to suggest stress factors related to information security technology that affect the reduction of employees' intention to comply with information security and to suggest ways to alleviate stress. Design/methodology/approach The research presented a model for mitigating technical stress related to information security based on technical stress theory and person-organization fit theory. 346 questionnaire data were analyzed from the members of the organization who applied the information security technology, and the research hypothesis was verified through the structural equation modeling. Findings The hypothesis test confirms that security-related techno-stress reduces the information security compliance intention of employees, organizational technical support mitigates technical stress, and person-organization fitness mitigates the negative relationship between techno-stress and compliance intention. The results of the study contribute to the organization's strategy for minimizing the reduction of the information security compliance intention of employees, and are meaningful in that the theoretical basis for mitigating techno-stress is provided in the field of information security.

  • Concurrent Engineering is one of the information-based product development approach. Yet, the method of organizing the project team for the concurrent engineering is not clear. This study focuses on deriving a method to organize an information-based project team. The model consists of 4 layers : IT infrastructure, organization of the information-based project team, operation of the project team, an organization culture. Based on an analysis of new product development case, this study attempts to verify the model and to suggest more effective way of organization design and management for new product development.

  • This paper is about how to establish the strategic teaming organization in digital age. Through the case study of action teaming, this research can give some implications to small-sized organizations who want to establish teaming culture and positive activities in their own companies. The case site was S-steel, which belongs to the steel industry. To improve and drive teaming activities, I made use of skills: action learning, fishbone analysis, creative thinking, brainstorming, creative discussion skill, and organization diagnostic method.

  • 최근 급속한 국내 건설환경의 변화속에서 기업은 구조개성을 포함한 다양한 변화를 추구하고 있으나, 이러한 노력이 경영 이익 증대까지 이어지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 현상의 주요 원인 중 하나는 수주와 관련된 내 $\cdot$ 외부 환경변화를 기업의 경영전략과 조직구조에 반영하여 변화에 적응하고 더불어 수주성과를 극대화하기 위한 다양한 변화노력의 틀 속에서 진행되어야 함에도 불구하고 이와 같은 접근이 이루어지지 못하고 있기 때문이다. 특히 급변하는 환경에서 기업의 경영이익을 좌우하는 수주활동과 관련된 조직의 설계는 전반적 인 건설경기동향, 공공 및 민간의 발주 동향 등을 고려한 전략적이고 유연한 접근이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수주환경 변화에 따른 수주조직을 전략적으로 설계할 수 있도록 환경변화와 경영성과측면의 관계를 규명하여 이를 대형건설업체의 사업유형 및 발주유형별 수주조직 설계에 반영할 수 있도록 모형과 절차를 제시하였다.

병원 조직문화 및 조직몰입과 조직시민행동 간의 관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Organizational Culture, Organizational Commitment and Organization Citizenship Behavior in hospitals)

  • D. W. Organ(1977) published a paper about the importance of Organizational Citizenship Behavior(OCB) in an organization. Since then, the studies of OCB have been continuously increased. As recent business environment has changed with rapidity and uncertainty, OCB for the improvement performance of organization should be more emphasized. Role behaviors of organization are divided into two parts such as in-role behavior and extra-role behavior. In recent, although the researches about extra-role behavior have been studied, they are still not sufficient. This study attempted to examine relationships between organizational culture, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior, Sample was 193 employee engaged in hospitals of Pusan. In this study I chose four factor(affective, conservative, task and innovative culture) of organizational culture and three factors (affective, continuous and normative commitment) of organizational commitment and five factors(altruism, conscientiousness, courtesy, civic virtue and sportsmanship) with regard to organization citizenship behavior. The major findings of the empirical research are as follows ; 1. The Causal relation of dimensions of organizational culture and dimensions of OCB. 1) Affective culture has significant impact on courtesy, civic virtue of OCB. 2) Conservative culture has no significant impact on all of OCB. 3) Task culture has significant impact on conscientiousness, civic virtue, sportsmanship of OCB. 4) Innovative culture has no significant impact on courtesy, civic virtue of OCB. 2. The Causal relation of dimensions of organizational commitment and dimensions of OCB. 1) Affective commitment has significant impact on all of OCB. 2) Continuous commitment has no significant impact on all of OCB. 3) Normative commitment has significant impact on courtesy, civic virtue of OCB. In brief, though this study has several limitations in research design and methods, the results suggest that organizational culture of hospitals and organizational comitment of hospitals shows a strong relationship to the organization citizenship behavior.

학습환경이 학습전이 의도와 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 중국기업의 유형별 조직문화 특성을 중심으로 - (A Study on The Influence of Organizational Culture of Chinese Corporations and Learning Organization to The Intention of Learning Transfer and Job Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 중국의 특별한 국정과 기업 성장환경에서 존재하는 조직문화 유형을 법리형 조직문화, 윤리형 조직문화, 발전추구형 조직문화로 구별하여 각각이 개인차원의 학습환경과 조직차원의 학습환경에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지, 그리고 그러한 학습환경이 학습전이 의도와 직무만족에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 실증연구 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 검토하여 각 변수들의 정의와 변수들 간의 상관관계를 이론적으로 검토하여 연구모형과 연구가설을 설정하였고, 중국 현지에서 설문조사를 실시하여 얻은 통계적 결과를 구조방정식 모형으로 처리하였다. 가설 검증한 결과 법리형 조직문화는 개인차원의 학습환경과 조직차원의 학습환경에 모두 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 뿐만 아니라 학습환경과 학습태도를 통하여 학습전이 의도와 직무만족에 미치는 영향도 윤리형 기업문화나 발전추구형 기업문화의 그것 보다 훨씬 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이는 법리형 기업문화가 다른 두 가지 기업문화보다 조직성과가 높다는 것을 보여주는 것이다.
