  • The Navigation Streets Map that directly supplies information for a driver plays an important role in Car Navigation System(CNS). Therefore, cause the compatibility, preference, visibility, and readability of the navigation streets map will be hold sway over driver's information acquisition, safety, and performance in CNS, it is important that designer's requirements should be analyuzed for ergonomic design of navigation streets map. Especially, there are differences between the topographical objects marking method and that of the general map in a navigation streets map. Because much information is marked in a narrow space, it is important that the text information should be done in navigation streets map. Also, because it is a important factor to mark the text format for the marking method of the topographical objects, the design requirements will be drawn out through the factor analysis for the text marking method. And when ergonomic designers are doing, this result will be basic research for developing driving simulator of CNS and it will be a ergonomic guideline of navigation streets map.

  • For the implementation of callcontrol software, it will be shown how to divide problems into dimain and also presents methodologies to specify domains according to the object-orented analysis techniques. Domains is specified by the set of related objects as shown in call control examples. Events and conditons are able to be transformed into system invariant so that is possible to figure out the relationship between domains and those concludes that the software requirements specification can be established for the design and implementation. Relationships existing between domains can be formalized so as to verify software requirements.

  • This paper evaluates the RF transmitting parameters of User Equipment(UE) for W-CDMA system based on 3GPP specifications. The parameters of transmitter are derived from the aspect of RF. In order to keep UE in high performance, the transmitter requirements such as ACLR, EVM, Peak Code Domain Error, spectrum emission mask are considered. The UE transceiver is implemented on the basis of performance requirements and then tested for the analysis of RF transmitter characteristics through test scenarios.

  • Human factors is a key issue in the maritime industry including ship design and navigation safety. Human factors for ship design is to optimize safety and convenience of crews and passengers. And human factors for navigation safety is to minimize marine accident occurrence by human and organizational error. There are several technical requirements to incorporate human factors and marine system Risk analysis. human behaviour analysis and human M&S(modeling and simulation) are examples of technical requirements. This paper provides the key issues and technologies of human factors for ship design and navigation safety.

  • It is a wine recommendation application service designed for people who sometimes drink wine but lack information and have no place to recommend. This study is to develop UI display design method of wine recommendation service using chatbot. The research method was a case study on Korean wine market, a case study on artificial intelligence market, SWOT analysis of wine-related chatbots, and a competitor analysis of related industries. In addition, surveys and in-depth interviews examined the level of interest and understanding of chatbots, and what kind of chatbots they had encountered and what requirements and goals they faced. After grasping the needs and requirements of users, we created a service concept sheet according to them and produced an application UI design that users can use most easily. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it proposes a UI design that can search wine information more sophisticated and convenient than face-to-face communication through artificial intelligence service called chatbot and recommend wines that match the taste.

  • In this work, we first introduce two main approaches to writing requirements and then propose a method based on Natural Language Processing to improve requirement authoring and the overall coherence, cohesion and organization of requirement documents. We investigate the structure of requirement kernels, and then the discourse structure associated with those kernels. This will then enable the system to accurately extract requirements and their related contexts from texts (called requirement mining). Finally, we relate a first experimentation on requirement mining based on texts from seven companies. An evaluation that compares those results with manually annotated corpora of documents is given to conclude.

  • Augmented reality (AR) adds on and displays synthetic information spatially registered to real world objects. As a particular and important type of information visualization technique, AR possesses unique advantages and limitations. In this paper, we put forth three requirements for an effective augmentation, namely, "naturalness," "visibility," and "persistence," and review notable augmentation techniques around these three perspectives. Based on the review and analysis, future directions for AR based information visualization techniques are proposed.

  • As a train control system becomes a large scale and complex, it is necessary to control rigorously the system requirements specification of the train control system at the early phase. This paper describes Use Cases and activity diagrams of ATS functions requirements in the train control system. Basic functions of the train control system refers to IEC 62290-land are suggested. And the basic functions includes train operation without a driver. It is anticipated that this paper will be helpful for the analysis of ATS functions, ATO functions and EI function in the train control system.

  • Economic evaluation methodologies for railway investments of China and Korea are comparatively analyzed. Chinese procedures specified in the new economic evaluation manual of 1997 were compared with those of Korea based on the economic evaluation manual of 1982. As expected those procedures reflect general economic requirements of the respective countries. Several differences in the specification are also noted. Details of the specification of Chinese procedure far exceed Korean specification, while Korean manual is rich of explanation on the fundamental theory. Differences in the procedure of calculating benefits of investments are most conspicuous, and specific requirements of carrying out a optimum opening year analysis in Korean procedure is notable. Despite of these differences in the procedure, two methodologies share same objective of ensuring selection of economically and financially sound railway projects. Both procedures of China and Korea, however, limit their evaluation scope on railways alone. Therefore, they are needed to expand scope of evaluation to encompass the idea of multi-modal or inter-modal evaluation, which will eventually contribute to build truly efficient national comprehensive transportation system.

  • In this study, the fundamental design procedure for the Smart UAV fuel supply system was set up, and the preliminary design was performed to meet the vehicle system requirements. The fuel system layout was determined through consideration of vehicle system requirements, and then fuel tank layout, design of components such as booster pump, jet pump, pipe, vent system, weight estimation, etc. were carried out. Based on this fuel system layout, operational reliability analysis was carried out.
