평생직업능력개발을 위한 역량기반 평가 시스템 개발 (Development of Competence-based Assessment System for Lifelong Vocational Competency Development (CBAS-LVCD))

  • 평생직업개발에 대한 중요성 인식, MOOC의 확산과 온라인 교육에 대한 관심이 증대되면서 평생직업능력개발을 위한 교육 시스템 마련을 위한 노력이 계속되고 있으나 기술공학분야의 역량기반 평가 도구와 시스템에 대한 설계 개발에 대한 연구는 미진한 실정이다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 평생직업능력개발을 위한 기술공학분야의 직무역량을 평가하기 위한 시스템(Competence-based Assessment System for Lifelong Vocational Competency Development : CBAS-LVCD)을 설계 및 구축하였다. CBAS-LVCD는 NCS 기반 루브릭 평가 도구를 사용하여 학습자를 평가하고 기술공학분야에서 사용할 시뮬레이션 도구를 제공한다. 이는 실습과 온라인 시험이 제한적인 기술 엔지니어링 분야의 실무에 필요한 역량을 평가하는 데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

네일 미용 역량기반 교육과정 개발 - NCS 기반으로 - (Development of the curriculum for enhancing practical competence of nail beauty - Focused on the National Competency Standards -)

  • The goal of this study was to develop a curriculum based on practice and job competency, reflecting opinions on the required job competence of nail practitioners and professionals related to nail beauty. Through in-depth interviews with nail experts, the research focuses on developing nail beauty competency-based curriculum and curriculum profiles that reflect practitioners' needs of job competence in the field. In-depth interviews with 11 field experts and surveys of 154 people were conducted to develop a competency-based curriculum for beginner nail hairdressers. The results of this study show that the existing 38 National Competency Standards (NCS) job competencies were reduced to 21 job competencies. In addition, based on the common opinions of experts who reflect the current trend, two tasks on "eyelashes" and "waxing" were added, and they were modified and supplemented with 23 core competencies. The development of a competency-based curriculum and educational programs for nail beauty was performed based on the requirements of the core competencies investigated and the development of a systematic map for the core competencies of beginner nail technicians and hairdressers. In conclusion, the need for professional education and training for nail hairdressers is growing, and it can be seen that a curriculum building multi-faceted abilities is needed for their qualifications as experts. This study found that it is necessary to develop interpersonal communication skills that include marketing elements other than practical skills such as personality and customer response methods in the nail beauty curriculum.

실무수행능력 중심의 교육모형 및 측정도구 개발 (The Development of Nursing Education Model and The Instrument for Improving Clinical Competence)

  • The revolution of nursing curriculum has been focused on clinical competency for nursing graduates to flexibly respond to changes in societal health needs and disciplinary requirements. In this trend, the study was designed to identify basic concepts of nursing education that reflects the changes in societal needs and nursing discipline, and to develop the instrument to measure performance level in each dimension of clinical competency. The study was conducted in two phases. In phase 1, principal concepts consisted of nursing education were determined through literature review as well as series of discussion sessions on nursing philosophies and educational objectives among researchers. Though the process, the conceptual framework of competency based nursing curriculum was constructed with nursing process and professional role as horizontal threads, client, health needs, and nursing interventions as vertical threads. Then, items were developed to represent each dimension of competency : client and health need, nursing process, professional role, and nursing interventions. The total of 273 items were included as to represent clinical competency required for BSN graduates. In phase 2, questionnaires were distributed to nursing faculties of 41 BSN programs to validate the 273-item Instrument developed to measure competency. The total of 34 subjects returned the questionnaire with 81% of response rates. The subjects of the study had an average of 42 months of clinical experience and 13 years of education experience in various nursing areas with an age range of 30 to 52 years. The data were analyzed by utilizing SPSSWIN and the results are as follows. 1) The mean score of the nursing process dimension was supported most with the mean of 3.60(SD=0.32) compared to client and health need dimension(M=3.49, SD=.40), professional role(M=3.41, SD=.44), and nursing interventions(M=3.57, SD=.34). 2) The dimensions of competency were moderately correlated to each other with a range of r=.433 to r=.829, confirming that four dimensions of competency were related but distinct concepts. 3) The items of each dimension were analyzed based on its appropriateness. 'Assessing risk factors of the clients' were most highly supported in client and health need dimension. Most items of nursing process dimension were considered appropriate, while items related to efficient communication were well supported in professional role dimension. In nursing intervention dimension, items on basic nursing skills were highly supported while items on specific nursing interventions such as music therapy or art therapy were considered relatively inappropriate to competency for BSN graduates. The findings clearly showed that the current nursing education more emphasizes nursing interventions based on nursing process than other dimensions of competency. There is a need to reconceptualize nursing curriculum that is able to reflect more of nursing professional role and client/health need dimensions. Further research to validate the instrument by confirming competency dimensions of nursing graduates who are currently working at the hospital has been suggested.

간호사의 비판적 사고성향, 간호과정 수행능력과 근거기반실무역량과의 관계 (The relationship among critical thinking disposition, nursing process competency and evidence-based practice competency in nurses working in hospitals)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 400병상 이상 종합병원에 근무하는 간호사들의 비판적 사고성향, 간호과정 수행능력과 근거기반실무역량 수준을 파악하고, 비판적 사고성향, 간호과정 수행능력과 근거기반실무역량과의 관계를 파악하여 근거기반실무역량 향상을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구는 서술적 상관관계 연구로 종합병원에 근무하는 262명의 간호사를 대상으로 자기기입식 설문지를 통해 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 통계 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 간호사의 비판적 사고성향과 간호과정 수행능력과 근거기반실무역량은 중정도 이상의 수준이었고 간호사의 근거기반실무역량은 비판적 사고성향 (r=.42, p <.001), 간호과정 수행능력 (r=.58, p <.001)과 정적인 상관관계를 나타냈다. 위계적 회귀분석 결과 비판적 사고성향 (${\beta}=.34$, p <.001)과 간호과정 수행능력 (${\beta}=.57$, p <.001)은 근거기반실무역량에 유의한 영향요인으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해서 간호사의 근거기반실무역량 향상을 위해서 간호사의 비판적 사고성향과 간호과정 수행능력의 향상을 위한 전략이 요구되어진다.

치과위생사 역량에 따른 교육과정 현황 분석: G 대학 치위생학과 교육과정을 중심으로 (Analysis of current status of a dental hygiene science curriculum according to the dental hygienist competency)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate and analyzed the current status of a dental hygiene curriculum according to the dental hygienist competency. Methods: The study subjects were 59 courses in the department of dental hygiene in G University from April 1 to May 30, 2015. Except for liberal arts, 51 courses were finally selected and analyzed for the relationship between the curriculum and competency. For each course, systematic reviews were made by subject name, core competency, achievement goals, lecture hours, weekly themes, and learning goals. Three experts in the dental hygiene evaluated and analyzed the association of competency and goals. Results: Each course was operated by the goal from one to twenty two competencies of dental hygiene. Achieving one item of competency in a course required 13 hours on the average from minimum 2 hours to maximum 30 hours. More than 20 courses were operated and more than 900 hours were necessary for achieving the competency. The competency included the contents of 'Be able to utilize basic medical and dental knowledge in dental hygiene care and patient care' among the dental hygiene competencies. Conclusions: Competency based dental hygiene education will provide theoretical background for defining the identity of dental hygienist as a health care worker and to encourage professionals who contribute to the recognition of healthy society. Further research should be continued for improving the competency-based dental hygiene curriculum and education methods for implementing the curriculum within the paradigm of health care services.

컨설턴트역량이 프로젝트성과와 사회관계역량에 미치는 영향 : ICMCI 역량프레임워크를 중심으로 (The Effect of Consultant competency on the Project performance and Social-relational competency : focus on ICMCI competence framework)

  • 국내 컨설팅산업이 성숙해지면서 컨설턴트에게는 고객의 비즈니스와 컨설팅 비즈니스에 대한 통찰력이 필수적으로 요구된다. 이러한 통찰력은 해당 비즈니스 도메인에 대한 깊은 이해와 고도의 역량을 필요로 하며, 날로 치열해지는 컨설팅 시장에서 지속적인 경쟁우위를 유지하기 위해 반드시 갖추어야 할 역량 요소로 평가된다. 본 연구는 소규모 컨설팅사에 소속되거나 개인적으로 활동하는 컨설턴트가 갖추어야 할 모든 요소를 담고 있는 ICMCI 역량모델을 국내 컨설턴트에게 적용해 보고자 하였으며, 설문조사로 수집된 데이터를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 비즈니스역량과 기술역량은 프로젝트성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 가치 및 행동역량은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 반면에, 사회관계역량에는 기술역량과 가치 및 행동역량만이 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 프로젝트성과와 사회관계역량에 미치는 역량의 요소와 영향의 크기가 정반대로 나타나 프로젝트성과가 우수한 컨설턴트는 사회관계를 소홀히 하고 프로젝트성과가 약한 컨설턴트는 사회관계에 더 집중한다는 의미로 해석된다. 본 연구를 통해 전문적인 컨설턴트로 성장하기 위해서는 컨설팅 비즈니스에 대한 깊은 이해와 지각이 필요하다는 것을 확인하였으나, 적은 표본으로 모집단의 특성을 충분히 반영하지 못해 연구결과를 일반화 하는데는 한계가 있다.

미래사회에 대응하기 위해 초임 유아교사에게 요구되는 핵심역량 도출에 관한 연구 (A Study on Core Competency of Beginning Childhood Teacher in order to Correspond to the Future Society)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 미래사회에 대응하기 위해 초임 유아교사에게 우선적으로 요구되는 핵심역량이 무엇인지 유아교육현장 전문가의 요구를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 부산광역시와 경상남도의 어린이집 및 유치원에 재직 중인 주임교사, 원감, 원장 252명을 연구대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 초임 유아교사에게 요구되는 미래의 핵심역량에 대한 요구도와 우선순위를 도출하기 위해 PASW 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 대응표본 t-검증, Borich 요구도 분석, The Locus for Focus 모델 등의 3단계 분석방법을 활용하였다. 그 결과, 협업, 의사소통, 자기관리 및 개발, 직업윤리, 감성지능 등 5개 역량의 7개 하위역량이 미래사회에 대응하기 위해 초임 유아교사에게 우선적으로 요구되는 핵심역량으로 파악되었다. 이러한 결과는 예비유아교사를 양성하는 교원양성기관에서 현장중심 역량기반 교육과정을 설계하는데 기초자료를 제공해 줄 수 있으리라 사료된다.

  • 제 4차 산업혁명 시대에 필요한 핵심 역량 중의 하나로 디지털 역량에 대한 관심과 그 중요성이 점점 커지고 있다. 디지털 역량은 디지털 사회에서 주어진 문제를 해결하기 위해 다른 사람과의 협업과 소통을 통해 디지털 기술을 활용하여 필요한 정보를 탐색하고 분석하여 결과물을 생산하는 능력을 의미한다. 디지털 역량은 기술의 발전으로 인해 새롭게 요구되는 지식과 능력들이 요구되는데 최근에는 컴퓨팅 사고력을 포함시키려는 시도들이 있다. 본 연구에서는 제 4차 산업혁명의 시대에 요구되는 디지털 역량으로 어떤 요소들이 포함되어야 하는지 고찰하고자 한다. 이를 위해 국내외 디지털 리터러시에 관한 관련연구 분석을 통해 중요하게 고려되고 있는 요소들을 체계적으로 분류하고 이를 기반으로 하여 국내 현실에 맞는 디지털 역량 모델을 제안한다. 디지털 역량 모델을 설계하기 위해 먼저, 디지털 역량의 조작적 정의와 함께 세부 요소들을 정의한 후, 전문가들의 의견을 통해 수정 보완하였다.

Competency Level Evaluation for Construction Management in Southeast Asian Countries

  • Recently, countries in the South-east Asia are making efforts to enhance the construction industry system and introduce the construction management system. However, it is challenging to apply construction management in site due to lack of technology and professionals for CM. This can result in frequent safety accidents, cost overrun, schedule delay, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a clear evaluation of the overall situation regarding the level of technology and required competency. The objective of this research is to investigate on which management skills and items for CM are required to improve the construction management skills in South-east Asian construction industry. As a result of the questionnaire, most of the officials selected that the design phase and the construction phase are important works, and the engineers evaluated activities during the bidding phase, the design phase and the construction phase as important works for construction management. However, in most of the results, it was observed that the current competency of Vietnam construction is insufficient compared to the evaluated importance of the skills. This can be explained by the fact that they are not capable of managing construction projects effectively as compared to the importance. The results can help to realize the inadequate aspects of local construction industry, which will be the basis of improvements. Also, it is expected to be supportive to improve construction management in the countries and also provide indicators related to work stage or technology that should be acknowledged when establishing the advancing strategy for Southeast Asian countries in the future.

  • National Competency Standard(NCS) is a national organization that organizes the knowledge, skills, and quality required to perform duties at industrial sites by industry sector and level. As NCS was developed and adopted as part of the government's implementation of capability-oriented society, the construction industry is also fully applying NCS to the curriculum and training. This study investigated and analyzed the problems of NCS development in construction work field through prior research analysis and experts interview and derived problems such as discrepancies in classification system, lack of connectivity with curriculum, and lack of effectiveness in revising NCS in construction work field. Further research is thought to be necessary for the establishment of the development system reflecting the construction characteristics in the future and for the presentation of practical improvement directions.
