The thermo-hydro-mechanical (T-H-M) process is one of major issues in the performance assessment of a high level waste (HLW) repository. An engineering-scale test was planned and its experimental set-up has being installed, to validate the T-H-M behavior in the buffer of a reference disposal system. The experimental set-up consists of 4 major components: the confining cylinder with its hydration water tank, the bentonite block, the heating system, and the sensors and instruments. The monitoring and data acquisition system is employed to control the heater to maintain the temperature of $95^{\circ}C$ at the interface of the heater and bentonite blocks and to collect signals from sensors and instruments installed in the bentonite blocks.

Integrating database views is an important step in the conceptual database design process. This paper develops a view integration support system by using a semantic object model. In order to determine the order of the integration, affinities among views and objects are analyzed by employing the vector space theory. Semantic conflicts such as naming and structural conflicts are then resolved. The resolution results are stored in a view repository. Objects and views are integrated and stored in this view repository until all views are considered. A prototype for the system is built and can be used in a client/server environment.

Growing demand for traditional Korean housing, modernized Korean traditional housing (Hanok) was developed as a way of providing Hanok for the public. However, the standard cost data for Hanok has limitations, as it was developed based on single mock-up project actually constructed and verified by another mock-up Hanok. In order to meet these research objectives, daily report composition which is easy-to-use for on-site workers and managers and also easy-to-accumulate standard cost data was developed first. Secondly, access to the system was made easy through a web server. Finally, an automated calculation formula was inserted to allow the last inputted data to be automatically included for adjustment of standard costs. This system was designed from an industry perspective so that any unspecified and nonprofessional users can easily use. For the users, it has an advantage that on-site workers are provided with a daily report system through web server and also they are able to complete such reports through simple input and output without any additional forms.

중개기 기반 정보 통합 시스템은 서로 다른 지역 정보 시스템의 유연한 통합을 지원하나, 질의 처리시 최적화 측면과 지역 스키마 정보에 관한 메타데이터 표준화 측면에는 그리 큰 비중을 두지 않았다. 이러한 점을 개선하기 위해 제안된 분산 정보 통합 시스템은 질의 처리시 최적화 측면을 위해 질의 캐싱을 사용하며, 지역 스키마 정보에 관한 메타데이터 표준화 측면을 위해 ISO/IEC 11179 기반의 메타데이터 레지스트리를 사용한다. 이 시스템은 분산된 이기종의 비즈니스 정보 시스템들을 논리적으로 통합하여 사용자가 필요로 하는 통합된 정보를 웹 기반으로 제공한다. 이러한 시스템을 시스템 재사용성의 향상과 유지보수의 용이함을 위해 계층적 패턴을 사용하여 3계층 표현 방식 아키텍처로 표현하였고, 3계층 아키텍처의 핵심 요소들의 기능성과 흐름을 효과적으로 표현하기 위하여 UML 방법론을 확장한 EPEM 방법론을 이용하여 설계하였다. 또한 제안한 시스템의 구체적인 한 예로서, 공급망 관리 도메인에 적용하여 웹 기반으로 구현하였다. 따라서 분산 정보 통합 시스템은 질의 처리 속도 향상을 위해 질의 함수 관리기와 질의 함수 저장소를 통하여 질의 캐싱 기능을 제공하였고, 의미 이질성 해결을 위해 ISO/IEC 11179 기반의 메타데이터 레지스트리와 스키마 레파지토리를 이용함으로써 스키마 이질성과 데이터 이질성을 해결하였다.

본 논문에서는 이질 환경의 지역 데이터베이스 시스템(Local DataBase System: LDBS)을 분산 시스템 형태로 통합하고 전역 사용자에게 빠른 질의 처리를 제공하는 멀티 데이터베이스 관리 시스템(Multi-DataBase Management System: MDBMS)을 제안한다. 이를 위해 MDBMS의 구성 요소들의 기능을 정의하고 그들 간의 상호작용을 설계한다 또한, 구성요소 중 전역 뷰 관리자 관점에서 전역 질의에 대한 결과 정보가 전역 뷰 저장소에 모두 저장되어 있는 경우. 전혀 없는 경우, 그리고 일부 저장되어 있는 경우를 비교하여 객체간의 인터페이스 및 메소드 호출에 따른 시퀀스 다이아그램을 통하여 본 시스템의 기능을 정립한다. 마지막으로, 정립된 기능을 토대로 예제 질의를 이용한 각 기능들의 수행과정을 나타내어 구체적으로 설계된 모델을 제안한다.

EPCIS(EPC Information Services) system is a core component of EPCglobal Architecture Framework offering information of the freights, the time of awareness and the location of awareness on the EPCglobal Network. The role of EPCIS is to exchange information based on EPC. There are four kinds of event data which are object event data, aggregation event data, quantity event data, and transaction event data. These EPCIS events data are stored and managed in EPCIS repository. This paper leads to separate a in-out data overload of integrated EPCIS event and suggests the method to effectively manage EPCIS repository for exchanging data smoothly. In order to verify a effectiveness, we measure the performance of the system using a simple testing simulation by comparing existing method and suggested method.

In recent years. XML applications are being developed in diverse area. Especially, development of XML document repository system associated with database is carrying out widely. The previous researches of XML repository system have several defects which are update and retrieval limitations for the XML document, design limitation for a formal retrieval algorithm and data redundancy. In order to solve the above problems. in this paper, we suggest relational database schemes for overcoming limitations of updating, retrieving, and rebuilding document. And suggest query translation strategy using two-phase translation that consists of pattern analyzing phase and SQL generating phase.

Recently with the development of IT technology, the medical technology have been developed in various ways. Among them, WBAN can check the state of the patient in real time. However, the data generated by these techniques have a problem that they have heterogeneous properties depending on the type of sensors and devices. In this paper, we proposed a method using meta repository as a way to provide the sensing data of WBAN for the health care system by integrating along the HL7 standard item.

어느 나라를 막론하고 국가도서관은 정부가 설립 운영하는 국립도서관으로서, 자국에서 생산 유통되는 모든 유형의 정보자료를 수집 보존하여 당대의 국민에게 제공하고. 완벽하게 전수하여 후대의 접근과 이용을 보장해야 하는 책무를 가지고 있다. 이를 위하여 문화선진국은 석러 지역에 위치하는 분산형 국가도서관시스템을 운영하는데 비하여 한국은 서울중심의 완전 집중시스템을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 한국의 집중형 국가도서관 시스템을 집중-분산형으로 재편하기 위한 논거를 도출하고 그것을 바탕으로 국립 지역분관 건립을 위한 중장기기본계획을 제시하였다.
