Profibus-DP를 이용한 네트워크 기반 제어 시스템의 원격 퍼지 제어 (Remote Fuzzy Logic Control of Networked Control System Via Profibus-DP)

  • This paper investigates on the feasibility of fuzzy logic control for networked control systems. In order to evaluate its feasibility, a networked control system for motor speed control is implemented on a Profibus-DP network. The NCS consists of several inde-pendent, but interacting processes running on two separate stations. By using this NCS, the network-induced delay is analyzed to find the cause and effect of the delay. Furthermore, in order to prove the feasibility, the fuzzy logic controller's performance is compared with those of conventional PID controllers. Based on the experimental results, the fuzzy logic controller can be a viable choice far NCS due to its robustness against parameter uncertainty.

  • 일반 가전제품, 자동화장치등에 널리 채용된 원격조종기(리모콘)의 응용범위는 더욱 보편화되면서 기능이 다양해지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 기능에 대응할 수 있는 원격조종기의 새로운 송신회로를 제시하고 있다. 이 회로는 마이크로코드 방식을 채택하여 코드의 변환과 확장, 그리고 펄스폭을 프로그램할 수 있게 하였으며, 프로세싱 회로를 제거하여 소형차가 쉽도록 하였다. 이 회로는 FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)를 사용하여 구현하였고 성공적인 동작이 확인되었다.

  • As many sensors and actuators are used in automated systems, various industrial networks are adopted for digital control system. In order to take advantages of the networking, however, the network implementation should be carefully designed to satisfy real-time requirements considering network delays. This paper presents the implementation scheme of a networked control system via Profibus-DP network. More specifically, the effect of the network delay on the control performance was evaluated on a Profibus-DP testbed, and a GA-based PID tuning algorithm is proposed to design controllers suitable for networked control systems.

A Bilateral Teleoperation Control Scheme for 2-DOF Manipulators with High Reduction Ratio Joints

  • Since the dynamics of the slave manipulator with high reduction ratio joints is likely to be much slower than that of the master manipulator, the control input the slave manipulator is so frequently saturated. This paper proposes a bilateral teleoperation control scheme for 2-DOF manipulators with high reduction ratio joints, which can effectively compensate the control input saturation. In the proposed scheme, the controllers of the slave manipulator are designed with an anti-windup feature and forces caused by the saturation are reflected to the operator holding the operating handle of the master manipulator. When the control input of the slave manipulator is saturated, the master manipulator moves slowly file to tile reflected forces. In this way, the position tracking performance of the slave manipulator with high reduction ratio joints can be enhanced regardless of saturation. The proposed scheme is shown to give excellent position tracking performance through a series of experiments.

  • In this paper, a control algorithm of a stand-alone type photovoltaic/wind/diesel hybrid power system for operation in a remote island, is proposed in detail. Power controllers are used to combine two different power outputs of photovoltaic and wind-power generations into DC output, which is converted into AC power to meet load while charging the storage battery for later use. In the event that the whole power load cannot be met by photovoltaic and wind power only, power stored in the battery cell is supplied and if even this power run out, diesel generator will be applied. Certain portion of diesel power is used to cover the load and the other to charge the battery.

대형전동커튼 타임제어 시스템 설계 및 개발 (Design and Development of Large Electric Curtain Control System for Time Controlled)

  • The purpose of this paper is to design a curtain control system for centralized management of large curtains, which includes curtain structure, electric curtain controller, communication system, user interface and remote control. Curtain structure is designed to avoid using limit switch. The system is based on microprocessor, determined the stop position and complete running time of electric curtain through time control, and achieved remote control of curtain opening and closing through wired and wireless communication modes. By establishment of a mathematical model to calculate the inertia compensation time of the electric curtain, the electric curtain can be stopped ahead of time, and the curtain can be completely closed by the inertia. The result of test experiment of 32 electric curtain controllers shows the communication success rate reached 100%.

  • 사물인터넷을 이용하여 인간과 다양한 기기가 상호 연결되어 다양하게 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 ICT를 이용하여 원격지와의 동기 제어시스템을 구축하고 이를 활용한 보행자용 신호시스템을 구현하였다. 제어기 구현을 위해서 PLC 회로를 활용하였으며, 이를 통해 무선 제어신호 송신 및 수신, LED 램프 발광제어, 전원제어 등을 수행하였다. 제어기 및 보행자 전용 신호등 시스템 구축을 통해서 메인 제어기로부터 원격지의 서브 제어기와의 신호 동기가 가능함을 확인하였고, 도로 양쪽에 설치된 보행신호 등 시스템의 램프 신호 동기화를 구현하였다. 이 결과로 1:1 원격제어, 혹은 1:N의 원격 그룹제어가 가능함을 확인하였으며, 이 결과물은 다양한 분야에 활용될 수 있다.

안벽크레인 시뮬레이터 원격운전 시스템 개발 (Development of a Remote Operation System for a Quay Crane Simulator)

  • Quay cranes are considered core equipment for container terminal operation. However, unmanned operation systems have not as yet been announced due to the technological difficulties of implementation. In this paper, we developed a wireless controller to control a quay crane simulator remotely and conducted its performance test, a first step toward unmanned operation of quay cranes. The communication delay of a developed wireless controller was about 9.4ms on average while that of existing wired controllers was about 5.6ms. The same functions were implemented and tested on a smart phone where the average communication delay was 7.3ms. In addition, to apply the developed system into a real environment, we proposed a network architecture based on IEEE 802.11ac and carried out its performance evaluation. When the distance between two nodes was 50m apart, the throughputs of the TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and UDP (User Datagram Protocol) were 57Mbps and 189Mbps, respectively. The communication delay of the control data was 9.1ms through the TCP channel. These results reveal the proper working of remote quay crane operation if we adopt the IEEE 802.11ac network.

중등학교의 교육 기자재 및 콘텐츠 통합 관리 시스템 (An Integrated Management System of the Educational Equipments and Contents of Secondary School)

  • 현재 중고등학교에 교과교실제의 도입으로 학교 내에 교과전용 교실이 마련되고 교실 내 실물 화상기, 전자칠판, 교육용 촬영기 등 다양한 첨단 교육 기자재들이 비치되어 수업에 도움을 주고 있다. 이러한 기자재의 증가에 따라 각 교육 기자재의 리모컨 개수도 증가한다. 이로 인해 리모컨을 관리하는데 번거로움이 발생하고 기자재의 성격에 따른 운용법도 익혀야 한다. 이에 본 시스템에서는 하나의 리모컨으로 교육 기자재를 통합관리 하는 원격 제어와 강의 보조 기능을 지원한다. 제안하는 리모컨은 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 두 부분으로 나뉘어져 있고, 하드웨어는 일반 리모콘과 유사하지만, 소프트웨어는 교사용 PC에 설치되어 운용되어 원격 제어, 강의 녹화, 판서, 기자재 자동 종료 등을 지원한다. 본 시스템을 도입함으로써 교과 교실제를 시행하는 학교에서 교사가 교육 기자재 제어로 인해 소요되는 시간을 줄이고 필요 없는 전력 낭비를 줄일 수 있었다.

  • The chargers for DC power supply of the contro1lers, which have been installed in the relay rooms in 345/154kV substations of KEPCO, lag in both aspects of technique and performance. Moreover, as they are SCR-based, they dont meet the performance requirements of todays digital and automated controllers. Now two controllers are running in pair and one of those is for reservation. There are lots of troubles because the patrol engineering team has to replace them manually whenever they are out of order. So it is expected to bring convenience if the charger replacement is automated. Also, the existing chargers take much space, weight and cost - which have increased the need of development to make them smaller, less expensive, and have high quality. We will develop a charger system which has one fifth of the weight of the existing system by double-integrating the volume. The new system will be ready for a future full unmanned system with integrated pores for remote control, state-of-the-art digital features, and more than 90% efficiency/power factor against 80% efficiency/power factor of the existing system.
