l. Objectives To analyse gait disturbance of patient who was operated Total Hip Replacement Arthroplasty(THRA). 'This study is reported to emphasize on psychological stability and balance of vital dynamics. 2. Methods This patient was treated by the remedy of Soyangin, who was diagnosed as Soyangin. We used visual analogue scale(V AS) for the assessment of Rt. femoral pain. 3. Results The patients operated THRA are needed not only rehabilitation of gait, but also psychological stability and balance of vital dynamics. 4. Conclusions We suggest that patients operated THRA are needed not only rehabilitation of gait, but also psychological stability and balance of vital dynamics.

Most studies of failure analysis in ductile metals have been based on the classical plasticity theory using the local constitutive relations. These frequently yields a physically unrealistic solution, in which a numerical prediction of the onset of a deformation localization shows an inherent mesh-size sensitivity. A one way to remedy the spurious mesh sensitivity resulted in the unreasonable results is to incorporate the non-local plasticity into the simulation model, which introduce an internal (material) length-scale parameter into the classical constitutive relations. In this paper, a non-local version of the modified Gurson constitutive relation has been introduced into the finite element formulation of the simulation for plane strain compression of the visco elastic-plastic void material. By introducing the non-local constitutive relations we could successfully removed the inherent mesh-size sensitivity for the prediction of the deformation localization. The effects of non-local constitutive relation are discussed in terms of the load-stroke curve and the strain distributions accross the shear band.

Password typing is the most wifely ued identity verification method in computer security domain. However, due to its simplicity, it is vulnerable to imposter attacks Keystroke dynamics adds a shield to password. Discriminating imposters from owners is a novelty detection problem. Auto-Associative Multilayer Perceptron (AaMLP) has teen proved to be a good novelty detector. However, the wifely used 2-layer AaMLP cannot identify nonlinear boundaries, which can result in serious problems in computer security. In this paper, a nonlinear model, i.e. 4-layer AaMLP, is proposed to serve as the novelty detector, which can remedy the limitations of 2-layer AaMLP.

Dichloromethane, ethanol, and boiling water extracts of the brown alga Ecklonia cava were examined in vivo for their antipyretic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory activities in mice. These activities were evaluated by yeast-induced pyrexia, tail-flick test, and phorbol myristate acetate-induced inflammation (edema, erythema, and blood flow). Ethanol extract of E. cava (0.4 mg/ear) inhibited the inflammatory symptoms of mouse ear edema, erythema, and blood flow by 82.6%, 69.0%, and 65.4%, respectively. This extract also demonstrated potent analgesic activity. No acute toxicity was observed after p.o. administration of each extract (5 g/kg bw). These in vivo data are in agreement with the claims of the health care industry and indigenous medicine that E. cava is an effective remedy for inflammation-related symptoms.

In this study, Perilla frutescens wh~ch has been used as a folk remedy was investigated its antimicrobial activity. First, the Perilla frutescens was extracted with methanol at room temperatures, and fractionation of the methanol extracts from Perilla frutescens was carried out by using petroleum ether, chloroform, and ethyl acetate, respectively. The antimicrobial activity. of the. Perilla frutescens extracts was determined using a paper disc method and the growth inhibition curve was determined using methanol extracts of Perilla frutescens against Salmonella enteritidis and Bacillus cereus. The methanol extract of Perilla frutescens showed strong antimicrobial activity against Bacillus cereus at the concentration of 1.000 ppm. The 4,000 ppm of methanol extract from Perilla frutescens. retarded the growth of S. enteritidis and Bacillus cereus up to 72 hours.

Since a ductile coupled shear wall system is the primary seismic load resisting systems of many structures, a coupling beams of these system must exhibit excellent ductility and energy absorption capacity. In this paper, the seismic response of coupled shear wall system is discussed. It includes that the evaluation of the degree of coupling between the shear walls and the coupling beams. It is demonstrated through a review of experimental investigations of coupling beam behavior that often the coupling beam ductility demand exceeds the expected available ductility. As a result, it is possible that coupled shear wall system will not behave as desired in the course of a significant seismic event. Limits to the allowable degree of coupling are proposed as a remedy to this apparent deficiency.

New speech synthesis algorithms capable of flexible prosody (especially F0) modification are desired for a high quality TTS system. TD-PSOLA is the most popular synthesis algorithm. The algorithm shows very high quality when F0 modification is limited. However, the quality degradation due to pitch epoch detection error becomes severe as the F0 modification factor becomes large. On the other hand, the vocoder framework is very flexible in F0 manipulation. The synthesized speech quality from the vocoder is far from natural human speech and suffers from buzziness. To remedy the buzzy quality from the vocoder and make more natural synthetic speech, we propose a mixed phase vocoder.

To remedy both the degradation and saturation of the output voltages in the modified Dickson pump. a new multi-stage charge pump circuit is presented in this paper. Here using PMOS charge-transfer switches instead of NMOS ones eliminates the necessity of diode-configured output stage in the modified-Dickson pump, achieving the improved voltage pumping gain and its output voltages proportional to the stage numbers. Measurement indicates that VOUT/3VDD of this new pump circuit with two stages reaches to a value as high as 0.94 even with low VDD=1.0 V, strongly addressing that this scheme is very favorable at low-voltage memory applications.

1. Causes of SSHL are deficiency of kidney, pathogen of wind, meridian of soyang and sutaeyang, and pathogen of fire. 2. Four methods are used to treat SSHL, heath cultivation, herbal medicine for internal use, external remedy and acumoxatherapy. 3. Meridians, those are related with treatment of SSHL, are Kidney Meridian(Chok-soyin), Triple energizer Meridian(Shou-soyang), Gallbladder Meridian(Chok-soyang), Large intestine Meridian(Shou-yangmyong) and Small intestine Meridian(Shou-taeyang). 4. Pokrong, Jolrong and Gualrong, those are appeared some oriental documentary records, are not same with SSHL correctly. 5. In oriental medically, Yirong contains SSHL except slow progress. To teat SSHL, it is helpful to investigate method according to each symptoms and conditions in oriental medical documentary records.
