가속열화시험에 의한 폴리머애자의 신뢰성 평가 (Reliability Assessment of Polymer Insulators by Accelerated Aging Test)

  • In order to assess the long-tenn reliability of polymer insulators for distribution power systems, we have developed the accelerated aging test method which can simulate the operation conditions. In this study, 3000 hours aging test for 4 kinds of polymer insulators has been completed by the developed accelerated aging test. After 3000 hours aging test, visual inspection and electrical tests were carried for identifying a change of characteristics. Some specimens showed the surface erosion and the manufacturing defect. In the electrical tests, the wet flashover voltage was significant1y decreased by the accelerated aging test. In comparison with the field-aged polymer insulators, it can be concluded that the developed test method can evaluate the long-tenn reliability within short time and screen the manufacturing defect.

풍력 발전기용 요 드라이브의 가속수명시험 조건에 관한 연구 (A Study of Accelerated Life Test Conditions for Yaw Drive of Wind Turbine)

  • Wind turbine, which is attracting part of the renewable energy and is researching continuously, is going to be large size for high efficiency. There is a yaw system rotating the nacelle, weighted about 600 tons, to be perpendicular with the wind direction blowing in the large wind turbine. The wind turbine is focusing on the reliability improvement because working environment effect is bigger than any other points and specially, the reliability improvement of the yaw drive is required by the customer because it is the key component of the wind turbine. Because of this, the establishment of criteria for yaw drive is required because yaw drive system is the part of the wind turbine closely related with ensuring the reliability. So, this study did the failure analysis of the yaw drive system, which is consisted with 10 sets of yaw drives through researching and analyzing the site conditions. Also this study designed the life test method based on the failure analysis and working condition of the yaw drive. To design the accelerated life test of the yaw drive, this study reviewed the torque, lubrication condition, and frequency of use and etc. Finally, this selected the torque as the acceleration factor which is affected mainly to the system and also, the test equipment was developed based on the requirement of the life and performance test.

  • RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) system is recognition technology which can maintain various object's information. Reliability of RFID tags is the most important factor in RFID system. In this paper, we proposed ALT (Accelerated Life Test) method for UHF RFID tags. Temperature and humidity were adopted as stress factors and the accelerated life tests were conducted in three different conditions. We performed failure analysis for identifying failure mechanism and statistical analysis of test data. In the statistical analysis, we employed Inverse Power law for relationship between tag's life and stress. Through the statistical analysis, we proposed acceleration factor for several levels of temperature-humidity. The reliability qualification test plans were also designed for the tag's target reliability.

항공유도로등화용 LED 광원의 가속수명시험 (An Accelerated Life Test of LED Lights for Aviation Taxiway)

  • This paper presents an accelerated life test of aviation taxiway lights installed in the airport to help safe navigation of airplanes at night or in bad weather. Recently halogen lamps of taxiway lights are replaced by LED ones and their reliability needs yet to be verified. Thus, effective test conditions are designed reflecting the failure modes and mechanisms from the previous studies on LED, which include the accelerated degradation process. The test is performed under the temperature $70^{\circ}C$ and $90^{\circ}C$ for two types of LED lights, taxiway center line lights(TCLL) and taxiway edge lights (TEDL). The failure time data were analyzed using lognormal distribution and Arrhenius model to find the life-stress relationship, acceleration factor and life characteristics under the normal condition temperature $30^{\circ}C$.

  • This study is concerned with reliability technology. In order to achieve the quality level of items for consumer's satisfaction, tests for the item's reliability are essential. This article deals with a method and real field application to plan reliability testing. Especially the environmental conditions and methods such as screening test for electronic components will be shown. As well, we will explore methods and field applications with respect to mechanic destructive tests and non destructive tests.

농업용 트랙터 변속기의 가속 수명 시험법의 사례연구 (Case Study of Accelerated Life Test Method for Agricultural Tractor Transmission)

  • This study was performed to develop accelerated life test methods for agricultural tractor transmission receiving variable load. To acquire parameters for calculation of accelerated life test, endurance tests were performed under different torque conditions. Test results showed that the shape factor of Weibull distribution was 1.5 and fatigue damage exponent was 5.4. The calculated test time was 5,877 hours under the conditions of average life (MTBF) 3,000 hours and 90% reliability for one test sample. According to the linear cumulative damage rule, test time could be reduced using increased test load. Test time could be reduced by 252 hours when 1.2 times of the rated load compared with 0.67 times of the rated equivalent load calculated by load spectrum of the agricultural tractor. Calculated acceleration coefficient was 23.3.

예비수학교사의 교직 적성·인성 검사에서 분할점수 변화에 따른 다양한 신뢰도 탐색 (Investigation of Various Reliability Indices of Pre-service Mathematics Teachers' Teaching Aptitude and Personality Test based on Setting Cut Scores)

  • The purpose of this study is first to examine the relative influence of each error source and to investigate the optimal measurement conditions to ensure satisfactory multiple reliability coefficients based on the teaching aptitude and personality test for pre-service teachers. Participants were 33 students enrolled in mathematics education in a graduate school of education located in the Seoul metropolitan area from 2013 to 2017. The main results were as follows. First, the estimated variance due to residual was highest, followed by nesting of items within domains, graduate students, interactions of graduate students with domains, and domains. Second, total 96 items, with 12 domains containing 8 items in each domain, with cut score of 598, and original 210 items, with 14 domains containing 15 items in each domain, with cut scores of 615 or 716 were optimal measurement conditions to reach acceptable reliability levels based on the joint consideration of dependability coefficients, cut score dependability coefficients, adjusted dependability coefficients, and standard errors of measurement. Third, larger deviations between the arithmetic mean and the cut score indicated higher reliability coefficients of the test results. Finally, this study suggests ways for practitioners to consider how to apply generalizability theory for criterion-referenced tests and how to develop future research based on limitations.

시제고속열차의 신뢰도 목표 설정 및 평가 방안 (Reliability Target and Assessment of a Prototype High-Speed Train)

  • A train is subject to a series of reliability-related tasks through its entire life cycle. Among them the reliability demonstration is required for commercial trains and the test is performed during the commissioning period or the early stage of the commercial operation. On the other hands various test are carried out for prototype trains and hence their operational condition is quit different from that of the commercial trains. One should take account of these differences when reliability assessment is needed for the prototype trains. This paper presents a procedure and an analysis method to evaluate reliability of a prototype train. Reliability data have been obtained through test runs of the HSR-350x and operational conditions for the KTX and HSR-350x have been analyzed to compare the reliability targets of the prototype train.

단일입력 다출력 PTO 기어박스의 내구성시험에 관한 연구 (Study of a Durability Test for Single-input Multi-output Power Take-off Gearboxes)

  • This study analyzed a life test method for a power take-off (PTO) gearbox. An engine transfers mechanical power (rotation and torque) to a hydraulic pump through a PTO Gearbox with one input shaft and three output shafts. PTO gear box durability under high loads over long time periods was tested using dynamometers. In order to reflect the rated operating conditions, power must be distributed to each output shaft, and experiments were conducted under various conditions to verify the characteristics of the distributed power. An accelerated life test was designed using speed and torque as acceleration factors. Also, efficiency tests were conducted under various load conditions. Also, a lubrication oil composition analysis was performed to analyze gearbox wear status.

  • 유도탄은 일반적으로 양산 후 바로 사용하는 것이 아니라 장기간 저장을 거친 후 사용되므로 운용 신뢰도가 아니라 저장 신뢰도가 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 가속노화시험을 통해 유도탄의 엔진 조립체 및 부품에 대한 저장 신뢰도를 평가하는 방법을 제시한다. 엔진 조립체의 시험은 실제 저장 시간과 등가한 가속 시험조건에서 시험을 수행한 후 각 부품의 노화 상태를 확인한다. 반면, 부품에 대해서는 가속 시험조건에서 주기적으로 성능노화특성을 측정하여 고장시간을 예측한 후 여러 가속 조건의 시험데이터와 가속모델을 이용하여 사용조건의 수명을 결정하는 시험을 수행한다.
