This study focuses on regathering the regional festival tourists through the reuse of Pyeongchang Winter Olympics facilities. It has a purpose of proposing directions to develop regional festival through the case analysis of successful domestic and international festivals. As a method of primary study, case analysis of domestic and international festivals and literature study were done. It was developed by data from the Statistics Office and Culture Tourism. This study suggests the Trout Festival and Snow Festival, to develop the following strategy using the facilities and make new, fused contents for the festivals. It expects the increase in facilities utilization and boom in regional economy to appear with the initiation of the unique strategy. This study to be used as a reference in the future for regathering the tourists and future studies on this specific topic.

From 1970, the concept of ecotourism is introduced, lots of studies in ecotourism appeared. Review these studies are necessary for future ecotourism studies. Some review studies on ecotourism are existed. However, these approach also limitation of subjectivities and some sorts of papers has not been reviewed. This study use keyword network analysis which is used as big data analysis to overcome the limitation. Foreign 2455 studies and domestic 163 studies which have ecotoursim in keywords, are analyzed for reviewing. As a result, 3 cluster('Sustainable tourism development', 'Ecological conservation', 'Ecotourist analysis' appeared, in ecotourism studies. In addition, this cluster has deep relationship with region. 'Sustainable tourism development' is related to Eurasia, Australia, Europe. 'Ecological conservation' is related to Africa. 'Ecotourism analysis' is related to North America. Especially 'Resident participation', 'Stakeholder' are appeared many times in Asia region. These results show that ecotourism studies are interpreted in regional contexts. It means that although only one word 'ecotourism' is used in different contexts, regional approach are needed for exact use. In Korea, the keywords are focused on ecotourists and developments. As Korea has lots of ecotour village, resident participation studies have to be supplemented.

According to the growing concerns of the public with efficiency and effects of regional policies, their assessment works have become an important issue. Up to now, several studies have been carried out on economic effects of policies using conventional cost/benefit analysis, while there have been few studies on assessment of amenity oriented policies. From the above consideration, this study tried to develop An Annual Expenditure Assessment Model (AEAM) for amenity-oriented policy-making in rural area. As a pre-work for model development, the hierarchical indices system for rural development and the classification system of expenditure were designed. Being based on high significant relationship between rural amenities and local government expenditure, a linear optimization model for maximization of regional amenity was constructed. Through a case study of Sunchang-gun, Chonbuk-province, the model applicability was ascertained.

According to the Fourth Assessment Report of the Inter governmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC), climate change is already in progress around the world, and it is necessary to start mitigation and adaptation strategies for buildings in order to minimize adverse impacts. It is likely that the South Korea will experience milder winters and hotter and more extreme summers. Those changes will impact on building performance, particularly with regard to cooling and ventilation, with implications for the quality of the indoor environment, energy consumption and carbon emissions. This study generate weather data for future climate change for use in impacts studies using PRECIS (Providing REgional Climate for Impacts Studies). These scenarios and RCM (Regional Climate Model) are provided high-resolution climate-change predictions for a region generally consistent with the continental-scale climate changes predicted in the GCM (Global Climate Model).

International arbitration as a dispute resolution mechanism in Asia is growing in popularity. Singapore has long been acknowledged as a regional arbitration center but Korea is now facing an increased demand as an arbitration center as well. As Singapore competes with Hong Kong and other international arbitration centers, and as Korea tries to become an alternative to Singapore, both Singapore and Korea have updated their arbitral laws and arbitration rules to reflect the current international arbitration trends. This paper examines the recent changes in the arbitration laws of Singapore and Korea, with an emphasis on recent changes in Korean arbitration laws that are designed to increase Korea's popularity as a regional arbitration center. Though Korea's reputation as an arbitration center is increasing, it is still not viewed as a major arbitration service provider. It is against this backdrop that Korea's international arbitration laws and rules will be viewed, with suggested changes to increase Korea's reputation as not only a regional hub but a center of international arbitration.

The United States of America is privileged in that social stratification is not directly linked to the division of powers. Nonetheless, America endured the devastating Civil War only to consolidate her national identity when a nation was not defined. In fact, state governments preexisted as a sovereign long before the federal government came into existence as a national government. As a consequence, intergovernmental relations have persistently been contested long after the Civil War ended. In contrast, the European Union was founded on the political will to establish regional integration such that her member states would never repeat the bloodshed in catastrophic wars. Since the principle of subsidiarity precipitated political endeavor in regional integration, the EU developed into a bifurcated system of transnational and international organizations. In this paper, I evaluate the US and the EU by applying the perspective of federalism in which separation and integration are perennially at tension.

The paper provides an appreciation and critical commentary on Stephen Keck's fictional product, the SEABOT. It examines the problems of regional definition, given Southeast Asia's diversity, and provides a positive gloss on this diversity. It also considers certain conceptual and methodological issues raised by SEABOT, and the advantages and disadvantages of this online platform.

本论文是首次以臺灣地域学研究为主题策劃进行的研究. 其研究不仅在韩国, 在近日掀起地域学研究热潮的中国也未曾进行过. 韩国各地方政府與大学属下的各地区地域学研究所, 正为地区发展而进行着廣範的研究, 竝举办與其他地区研究所间的交流活动. 而如今对于可充分参考的国外事例却无人问津. 臺灣的地域学研究现状與活动领域, 定会为韩国地域学的发展指明方向. 本论文在此问题意识下, 以介绍臺灣地域学的研究狀況于活动领域为目的而撰写完成. 臺灣的'地域学'以行政区为基本范畴, 是以综合各地区对历史, 人文, 社会等领域探讨的问题, 将其开拓发展为目标的学问. 其主要地区范围为县與市. 通过扩散式收集有关臺灣地方行政府與地域学研究所的相关资料, 本论文策劃对其进行综合性, 系统化的归纳整理. 以政府, 大学, 地方专科大学, 人民团体的劃分单位为次序, 本文涉览了臺灣地域学的发展过程與现状. 综上所述, 本文包括臺灣主要行政单位----省, 市, 整体调查了臺灣地域学的研究推进过程與现状, 竝以此为基础, 预测未来地域学研究单位的探讨方向, 同时对此进行综合评价.
