The purpose of this study is to find methods for building the community in poor residential environments. We analyze the public art project, "The Rose of Sharon Blooms," in Daejeon. To understand the project we interviewed artists, curators, local residents, and visitors, about three aspects of public art: visuality, speciality, and communication with citizens. These stakeholder interviews yielded valuable knowledge and insights: First, artworks created from the residents' recycled junk effectively harmonizes and unifies the citizens and their environment. Second, managing a gallery in the neighborhood symbolically values and explicates the public art project and thus enhanced the local identity. Third, public workshops in the neighborhood provide a venue for local citizens to communicate with visitors about the public arts, which eventually led to the welcoming atmosphere of the community. However, we found relatively little awareness of the need for partnership aspects among our interviewees, which suggests the importance of ongoing cooperation with other arts institutions and researchers to build vital cultural linkages and introduce varied art forms.

The purpose of this study is to provide the entrepreneurs with positive entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurship education that meets the needs of founders related to cultural tourism products. In addition, the mediating effect of self-efficacy of founders was verified in the relationship between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intention. For the empirical analysis, this study conducted a survey on founders of cultural tourism products in Gwangju and Jeonnam. The results of the study are as follows: First, entrepreneurship education has a positive effect on self-efficacy and self-efficacy has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. Second, self-efficacy confirmed the mediating effect in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship intention. The results of this study are expected to provide basic data for stable and sustainable development of the culture and tourism industry.

This study aims to analysis the types of features of confucian values of China normal university students. To achieve this purpose, Q methodology is applied. This study was conducted at Sichuan Normal University in China. Total 42 students and 47 statements collected through literature research. The implementation were formed in four types, statism, traditionalism, nominalism, and naturalism. Through this study, from the perspective of international relations, family relations, and friendship, all four type of features were presented intellectualized intelligentiae. The common feature of the four types is gender role, and the cognition of gender role is changing, and women will becoming an independent individual. Although confucian values had made great contribution for the development of Chinese traditional culture, it is an undeniable fact that some ideas not according with the modern social demand for development are hidden in the back.And we should look at and appreciate confucian values from a comprehensive and dialectic view.

The world has rapidly become culturally diverse, and Korea has gradually grown into a multicultural society, mainly due to marriage immigrants and foreign laborers, whose number exceeds over one million nationally. Their adjustment and acculturation in Korea, however, dose'nt seem painless and untroubled, and public libraries are in duty to provide multicultural service for these population. Providing useful services on the homepage makes it possible for users to find the information they need without having to visit the actual library. A more detailed research will be conducted by examining the multicultural services provided by the public libraries in Australia, Canada, the United States, and Japan, the leading multicultural societies. The further examination will be conducted on these libraries in terms of four aspects, that is, information, literacy, education, and culture, as declared by Public Library Menifesto. In Korea, translation and interpretation services, homework help, child literacy are necessary services at the public library, Management of independent multicultural site, shared services between Regional Central Library and Community Public Library, cooperation with libraries, government and organization will be helpful to multicultural library services.

As an important visual element, color in animated films can not only depicts the reality, but also conveys emotion and meanings, which play an important role in shaping the space of animated films. As one of the most outstanding animated films, Coco uses bold and unique color language to shape the film space. It uses the national color to blend the Mexican culture into the story space making it full of Mexican regional and cultural connotation, uses color contrast to shape the physical space, highlighting the three-dimensional and deep sense of the physical space. And also uses color association to create the psychological space, leading audience into the spiritual world of the film. Based on the analysis of the Coco, we an see that when shape the film space of animation, the film maker should give full play to the characteristics and function of color, and apply different color language to shape different space according to the role of the film space, so as to expand and deepen the connotation and expressiveness of film space.

Due to the recent population decrease and urban decline, it has become increasingly important to induce qualitative changes in the city itself and create a differentiated development model. Local culture, based on its uniqueness and diversity, generates the expansion and ripple effect of various contents through creative utilization. In this study, we examine a new local content approach called "town-stay (village hotel)" that develops cultural content and creates a place-making in terms of creating a sustainable ecosystem with cultural vitality. While the uniqueness and creativity of individual content can make a region's attractiveness stand out, we have seen in the case of small-sized cities in Korea and Japan that content elements (place, story, people) can be materialized into area-level content called town-stay(village hotel). The local contents are densely presented in a specific area to increase visibility and expand into a variety of content that reveals regional connections. Local creators, who are the core actors, understand locality, induce active activities, and pursue sustainable development that promotes not only economic value but also community solidarity.

The purpose of this study is to examine the matter as to how the meaning of the physical therapeutic landscape by water, which is associated with physical, cultural, spatial, and economical aspects, appears in the space centering on women and is to look into the feminine factors in term of a rest area, consideration, and imagery for women. From a perspective of a rest area for women, the meaning of a physical aspect is remarkable and is materialized in thermal waters and bathing, atmosphere, subsidiary facilities and safe nightlife. According to these phenomena, female visitors are able to feel freedom, power, which can return themselves to the best condition by thermal waters, therapeutic equipments provided in a watering place continuously, safe protection and exchange with strangers with an open mind. And the cultural aspect of the therapeutic landscape by water is discovered in consideration for women. It is the fact that joins the Japanese culture based on consideration towards others to the traditional culture of hot springs by itself. For example, women can feel various pleasure, experience the protection or the support by someone and pursuit not only physical beauty but also mental or spiritual one through welcome bus, service of Okami san and Nakai san, decorations, funny installments and secure of private space. Lastly, the imagery of women can be identified in cultural, spatial, and economical aspects extensively somewhat and is embodied by advertising mediums, signs of hot springs, shrines, objets and products variously. It is made into healthiness, relaxation, comfort, familiarity and image that are realized to love or are connected to a happy marriage life. To sum up the results, the healing or therapeutic elements for women appearing in hot springs are gathered to some abstraction such as freedom, safe, effect beyond the body, pleasure, durability of healing or therapy, beauty and hope; furthermore, if these abstraction are combined each other closely, the effect of healing or therapy, which transforms anxiety into a stable condition, can be exposed externally.

In order for the science museum to play a role as a foundation for strengthening the national creative capability, which is the core of the advanced national development paradigm, it is important to gather the capacities of the nation's science museums and establish a platform to cooperate in a shared value system. Science museum is an independent operating system, and there is a lack of strong connections among national, public and private science museums. The existing integrated collaboration system of science museums-centered can be studied first and promoted to develop programs for the free school year according to a specific topic. The same system of science museum-inclusion which link local cultural institutions or cultural places as science culture program were also studied to do the same purpose. On the basis of problems drawn from studies of integrated collaboration systems of each participating science museum, we proposed a convergence integrated collaboration systems of science museum-centered and science museum-inclusion. To this end, data were collected from practitioners of 7 representing science museums including 5 national ones. In order to suggest improvements, we also contacted five international science museums to collect the exemplary cases. Considering the regional characteristics, science museum-inclusion integrated collaboration systems considering the cultural characteristics and the science museum-centered integrated collaboration systems for free school semesters, were developed and tried by practitioners who participated in this research. It was found that integrated collaboration system can be more activated for the community. This suggests that support from the national level or at the level of regional autonomy is essential and the connection with the curriculum is necessary for the integrated collaboration system program. Finally, professional experts such as program development or commentator can be a decisive role.

This study aims to enhance the family-friendliness of the region by examining the relationship between family relations and the community environment, and objectively comparing the local environment surrounding the family. To this end, we reviewed the areas of socio-cultural and economic sectors that affect the family relationship satisfaction, and in particular, analyzed the trend of changes in regional index by utilizing the Korean Family Happiness Composite Index (KFHCI) developed as a community indicators. This index utilizes community indicators published in the National Statistical Portal's "e-Region indicators," and these variables are related to family relationship satisfaction. Therefore, this study compared the seven areas of the Family Happiness Composite Index (Population Family, Health Culture, Education, Income Consumption, Employment Labor, Housing Transportation, Environment and Social Integration) by region, and examined the trends for 10 years. According to the study, the average score of KFHCI's entire region was rising from 2008 to 2018. Overall, the community environment that affects family relationship satisfaction is also improving. The regions belonging to the upper level were Jeonnam, Gangwon, Chungnam, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk. Areas belonging to the lower level are Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Incheon, and Gwangju. In almost sectors, the lower-level regions did not have sufficient physical infrastructure compared to population density and over-density, and improved little by little, but not enough to reflect the needs of local people and improve the quality of life. In the future, we should develop more regular and complementary indicators to develop customized policies for each region that can improve the quality of family relationships. It will also be necessary to study the impact of each index field when a socioeconomic crisis occurs due to social disasters, and try to change indicators

For investigation of anti-angiogenesis mechanism of Anthrisci radix, Psoraleae semen, Siegesbeckiae herba and Corni fructus, anti-cell adhesion experiment was performed. The adhesion of U937 cells to IL-$1\beta$-stimulated HUVECs was completely suppressed by 276% at 0.2 mg/L of Anthrisci radix, 220% at 5 mg/L of Psoraleae semen, 158% at 10 mg/L of Siegesbeckiae herba and 132% at 20 mg/L of Corni fructus, respectively. And the adhesion of PMA-chemical stimulated U937 cells to HUVECs, it was inhibited 139% at 0.2 mg/L of Anthrisci radix, 442% at 5 mg/L of Psoraleae semen, 720% at 10 mg/L of Siegesbeckiae herba and 664% at 20 mg/L of Corni fructus. Also, the adhesion of chemical stimulated U937 cells to IL-$1\beta$/chemical stimullated HUVECs, it was inhibited by 286% at 0.2 mg/L of Anthrisci radix, 146% at 5 mg/L of Psoraleae semen, 436% at 10 mg/L of Siegesbeckiae herba and 297% at 20 mg/L of Corni fructus, respectively. It would be a useful substance for anti-cell adhesion based on anti-angiogenesis for anti-obesity and anti-cancer.
