According to each developing type, we study a concept, contents and a consideration about in oriental medicine industry. The divisions of each developing speciality are followings: Urban industry type - The development of urban industry type has difficulties; The lack of technical development and social adaptation, etc. If it overcomes these difficulties, it will be activated in the oriental medicine industry. Rural industry type - The oriental medicine industry of rural type needs the model of rural oriental medicine industry which leads an activity and an independence of the rural region. Within the industrialization of the oriental medicine industry, if rural resource makes a specialized brand, it can have great effects in the future industry. Resort industry type - When The resort type is related the characters of natural circumstances, cultural industry and health management, it has many effects. If we gain the clear direction which is activated the regional specialities, the oriental medicine industry of resort type can estabilishs the high value industry. Event industry type - The event type is a festival, an exhibition, etc. Within this event, the promoter must provide visitors the specialized sights, the food things, the enjoyable things. And using traditional image, we have the regional resource is recognized good things and the nomination of open place can inform.
There have been various flower exhibitions in many countries such as Netherlands, Japan and China so as to encourage the growth of flower industry since they recognize the value of flower as cultural goods. Chungnam Province government, also endeavoring to make the. regional flower industry into high valued agriculture and exporting industry, plans to open the international flower exhibition in Anmyon-Do from April 26th, 2002. This flower show, first held by local government and featuring mega-event tourism, is expected to contribute to initiating flower industry and related business in Chungnam region. However, the flower exhibition may not be said to succeed if it does not play enough to trigger the role in expanding its effect on post growth of regional flower industry. This paper aimed at suggesting strategies of maintaining festival boom of post Anmyon-Do flower fair and contributing to take off of flower agriculture and its related industry as follows; 1) inviting various flower business activities into exhibition places 2) establishing flower village town attracted by tourists 3) devising the flower R&D center 4) organizing helping center for infant flower business group.
Purpose The purpose of this study is to explore the pattern of user response and it's duration time through social media content response analysis. We also analyze the characteristics of content quality factors which are associate with the user response pattern. The analysis results will provide some implications to develop strategies and schematic plans for the operator of regional marketing on the SNS. Design/methodology/approach This study used mixed methods to verify the effects and responses of social media contents on the users who have concerns about regional events such as local festival, cultural events, and city tours etc. Big data analysis was conducted with the quantitative data from regional government SNSs. The data was collected through web crawling in order to analyze the social media contents. We especially analyzed the contents duration time and peak level time. This study also analyzed the characteristics of contents quality factors using expert evaluation data on the social media contents. Finally, we verify the relationship between the contents quality factors and user response types by cross correlation analysis. Findings According to the big data analysis, we could find some content life cycle which can be explained through empirical distribution with peak time pattern and left skewed long tail. The user response patterns are dependent on time and contents quality. In addition, this study confirms that the level of quality of social media content is closely relate to user interaction and response pattern. As a result of the contents response pattern analysis, it is necessary to develop high quality contents design strategy and content posting and propagation tactics. The SNS operators need to develop high quality contents using rich-media technology and active response contents that induce opinion leader on the SNS.

As creative city is increasingly considered as a paradigm of urban development, it was explored that some of major concepts consisting of creative city such as creativity, creative class and creative industry have an implication. Those concepts reveal a diverse meaning rather than universal one in the application depending on regions and countries across the world. This study tried to grasp the meaning of creative city in the northern region of Gyeongbook where the concept itself was not apparently distinctive. The result is that the inherent meaning of creative city was expanded to culture and athletic fields, though it was originated from taking advantage of nature, agricultural products in the region, and cultural and historical based tourism. On the other hand, the role of regional authority was examined to explore how the concept of creative city is realized in practice. There are some differences among the local authorities in the aspect of leadership. network system within the region, and social network with outside.
The purpose of study was to test the effects of service quality of regional festivals showing the characteristics of convergence service and perceived value of visitors on intention of word-of-mouth, and the moderating role of perceived value between service quality and intention of word-of-mouth. For this empirical study, the data were collected and selected from 320 residents in Wonju province and visitors for Wonju Hanji Cultural Festival from all around from the South Korea by using structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed by hierarchical regression technique. The results showed that both of 7 factors of service quality of regional festivals and 2 factors of perceived value had a positive effect on visitors' intention of word-of-mouth. And also found out the only one out of two perceived value factors, namely 'non-monetary value' had the moderate roles between service reliability out of 7 service quality factors and intention of word-of-mouth. The results of study was summarized and theoretical implications of the findings with practical applications were discussed. After then, the directions for further study were presented based on the limitation of this one.

Urban landscape represents a city's internal identity as well as external form. Therefore, urban landscape and image planning has to involve marketing strategies to deliver the economic growth and regional revitalization through recreating the environmental and cultural value of the city. This study intends to develop practical city image management programs as city marketing tools which consider opinions of local authorities, related experts, and residents. To achieve this purpose conjoint analysis was applied on three components which symbolically reflects features of assets and resources in Anseong. This study can be summarized as follows: 1. The first consideration for Lake Geumgwang is to develop farm experience Programs on waterside fields. 2. The rot consideration for Bauduki Festival is to make efforts for public relations(PR) to be able to merchandise festival-related goods and develop unique products. 3. The first consideration for Anseong Grapes is to build leisure-oriented theme parks for local farm products. This study is meaningful to develop the efficient and quantitative management method of city image for marketing. The integrated approach to the management programs to reflect opinions of local policies, experts and citizens is expected to become a useful foundation in studying city images and marketing.
This study aims at proposing clear direction of tourism policy through analyzing the correlation between tourism resource, tourism system and activation of regional economic. A total of 283 samples were ultimately collected in survey of 300 researchers from the national and public institutes in provinces Chungchong-do and Kyungsang-do in July 2010 alone. SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 6.0 were used to test the model. Analysis showed that the more regional tourism resources have more significant effect on tourism system and tourist-attracting strategy, and that tourism system exerts influence on tourist-attracting strategy. So it was proved that the tourism policy effects meaningfully on vitalization of regional economic, and it was confirmed that the tourism system is more effective on the energization of regional economic than the tourist-attracting strategy. But the hypothesis has been rejected unexpectedly that tourist attractions have consequences for the activation of regional economic. It establishes the fact that it is useless for regional economy regardless of abundant regional tourism resources, if the tourism policy is not concretely in force. Therefore, Korean government must intercept overissue and overlapping investments on tourism development by the local government and induce qualitative growth of tourism sector through upgrading of development guidelines and the criteria for selecting tourism special zone, regional festival and cultural assets, and its continuous assessment and management. And it is desirable to enforce the connected cooperation projects between local governments and the 5+2 great-sphere economic blocs on government-level.
The ritual for community is a group ritual performed by the regional community of a village for the safety of the residents and abundant harvests. However, many ritual places have been destroyed by the anti-superstition movement, New Community Movement (Saemaul Movement), industrialization and urbanization since the 1960s. Under the circumstances, this study researched the status of use of the ritual place in Beommul-dong in Daegu where the ritual was revived in 2004 after having been suspended since the end of the 1980s due to urbanization. The revival of the ritual for community in Beommul-dong in Daegu, which had been maintained by the village people alone, is the prime example of the vitalization of local community as the recreation of local community, since the ritual has been transformed into a kind of festival involved with and financed by the local government. The study on analyzing the usage pattern of the ritual place may provide useful sources to come up with the modernized functions of the ritual place as a community place, where the heads of the ward office and cultural center, lawmakers and most of the residents perform the ritual, share foods and tread on the God of the Earth across the village at 11:30 in the morning on every January 16 of the lunar calendar.
The Wonju Nongyo (agricultural work song) is geographically classified as eastern minyo (folk song) which has many distinctive, regional features such as tunes, forms and the use of a melodic line. There has been growing attention to the transmission value of the nongyo including the Wonju Eorirang of the Wonju Origol Nongyo and its region of origin. The Wonju Nongyo is of great value and worthy of preservation in the western part of Gangwon Province. For this reason, it seems fairer to say that a focus should be directed towards establishing the identity of the song and increasing the contextualisation of transmission. At the same time, the preservation association's efforts in passing the traditional song down and education activities fairly deserve equal attention. In addition to the way the folk songs are handed down, a discussion on the facilitation of their use will be required. An in-depth discussion about the restoration and use of the song will be encouraged in a multifaceted manner. Unfortunately, few of the previous literatures on nongyo has gone so far as to investigate Arirang as a separate research topic. In fact, the Wonju Origol Nongyo should be viewed as an intangible cultural asset that paved the way for performance artistry of the Korean agricultural work songs to be seen at a national folk art festival. From the perspective of regional characteristics (traditionally termed "tori"), the Wonju Eorirang represents the cultural value of the manners and customs of our locals which constitute unwritten and neglected literary property and musicality of the song. Particularly, a more attention should be paid to making a record of woodcutters and diversity of farmers' small cooperative groups. The existence of the Wonju Eorirang indicates that the melodies to which the song are sung in Nongyo are of infinite variety. A minyo-singer unfolds various journeys of life through various modes and structure of epic chants, ranging from first encounter, love to marriage, realistic problems to relationship with husband's family and death. The epic chant of the Wonju Origol Nongyo contains a rich variety of regional sentiments about life. In particular, the epic chants of the Galtteukgisor and Ssoeltteukgisori are a genius example of sexual satire and a sense of humor. In the past, the agricultural work songs were rhythmic songs served to synchronize physical movements in groups, coordinating tasks in upland farming and rice paddy with the usage of catchy, repetitive verses easy to pass down. The Wonju Origol Nongyo is a precursor of the work songs which took the farming activities a notch higher to be part of the excitement and festivals. In the context of transmission, a festival serves to demonstrate the value of history and life. The value of the Wonju Eorirang should be appreciated and a concerted effort should be made to find a way to facilitate the transmission of the folk song. A folk-singer is a traditional oral poet and a storyteller of minyo and the forms and species of melody solely depend on the signer. The combination of performance and witticism is shown by the singer freely expressing himself. The Origol Nongyo symbolizes ethnic arts cleverly combining playful effects such as tune, rhythm and old agricultural work of the region. It is to be hoped that much of the efforts is directed to designating such folk songs as the archetype of a cultural heritage. In terms of the foundation on which the folk songs are transmitted, the usage(Performance Content) of a community would be an alternative.

Most local governments make an attempt to attract tourists through the large-scale development projects or regional festival events. But, its possibility of success is actually low, so they must take care of ecotourism industry which has higher efficiency in comparison with investing expense. Seocheon area couldn't be focused greatly in spite of the excellent ecological and cultural resources. However, there are lots of possibilities to be a new center of ecotourism because of newly opened National Institute of Ecology and National Marine Biology Resource Institute. Therefore, the purposes of this thesis are to analyze several eco-cultural property all over Seocheon, introduce ecotourism, a main function of ecosystem services, and develop the program satisfying 3 elements of ecotourism; natural environment, visitors and residents. In Seocheon located in where the sea meets the river, ecological property could be reorganized into 4 areas in relation to existing famous tourist attractions. As a measure to let visitors stay, we induced them to lodge in the region through the field work. To realize slow life, we designed it so that they can enjoy each landscape slowly. we also suggested the program which can guide visitors onto the vicinity of habitat for migratory birds at the mouth of Geumgang River and Seocheon foreshore nominated as Ramsar wetlands by focusing on National Institute of Ecology and National Marine Biology Resource Institute which will be the Mecca of ecology research. Through this research, there will be an opportunity to satisfy visitors of Seocheon and enrich local residents' lives.
