  • A novel neural network control scheme is proposed to identify the inverse dynamic model of robot manipulator and to compensate for uncertainties in robot dynamics. The proposed controller is called reference compensation technique(RCT) by compensating at reference input trajectory. The proposed RCT scheme has many benefits due to the differences in compensating position and learning algorithm. Since the compensation is done outside the plant it can be applied to many control systems without modifying the inside controller. It performs well with low controller gain because the operating range of input values is small and the output of the neural network controller is amplified through the controller gain. The back-propagation algorithm is used to train and simulations of three link robot manipulator are carried out to prove the proposed controller's performances.

  • H.264/AVC standard adopts multiple reference frames for motion estimation. This method improves coding efficiency, but it increases complexity of encoder. In this paper, we propose a algorithm that reduces the search range by using the correlation of motion vector. Consequently, motion estimation processing time is 47.5% when compared with standard of five reference frames, and SNR and bitrate are better than that of standard of three multi reference frames.

  • In this paper, a closed exact from and its approximation of the characteristic impedance of a lossy coaxial line with a thick outer conductor are proposed. It is also shown for 3.5mm reference air line that the proposed approximation is accurate over the entire operating frequency range of the line.

  • A reference range data base containing organ weight values on animals used in 4 week and 13 week toxicity tests is described. Data listed include the values of minimum, maximum, mean and standard deviation for each of the following organ weights. Organs: Brain, heart, liver, spleen, kidney, adrenal gland, testis, ovary. This study was undertaken to determine organ weight reference values of Ktc: SD rats

  • National Maritime PNT Office is operating 17 DGPS reference sites. Considering the relatively small size of South Korea, however, we thought that it is maintaining too many stations. For this reason, new algorithms were developed to effectively generate Pseudo-Range Corrections for the purpose of providing consistent DGPS accuracies throughout the country even with a minimum number of stations.

  • In this paper, the boundedness of adjustable parameters for the model reference adaptive control(MRAC) system using a constant reference signal is discussed. This analysis is motivated by that it is possibel to verify the existence, boundedness and bounded range of the parameter as well as the stability of the adaptive system with an alternative propoerty of Lyapunov function. For two adaptive laws; a general gradient mothod(GGM) and a least square method(LSM), unique solution set in parameter space can be estabilished by a new approach suggeste here. Computer simulation results to show the effect of parameter space analysis are also examined.

  • The minimum power supply voltage of a typical bandgap current reference (BGCR) is limited by operating temperature and input common mode range (ICMR) of a feedback amplifier. A new BGCR using a bandgap voltage generator (BGVG) is proposed to minimize the effect of temperature, supply voltage, and process variation. The BGVG is designed with proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) characteristic, and a feedback amplifier is designed with weak-inversion transistors for low voltage operation. It is verified with a $0.18-{\mu}m$ CMOS process with five corners for MOS transistors and three corners for BJTs. The proposed circuit is superior to other reported current references under temperature variation from $-40^{\circ}C$ to $120^{\circ}C$ and power supply variation from 1.2 V to 1.8 V. The total power consumption is $126{\mu}W$ under the conditions that the power supply voltage is 1.2 V, the output current is $10{\mu}A$, and the operating temperature is $20^{\circ}C$.

  • We have developed an alternative to the internal chemical reference based on a calibrated reference signal which is not a real NMR line but an electronically produced signal (HERETIC) and determined the phosphorus concentration using this method. The area ratio of HERETIC and sample peaks obtained from the standard samples was used to measure the concentrations of different samples directly. The analysis of phosphorus by this method showed the excellent linear regression coefficient ($R^2=0.9999$) for the concentration range from 20 ppm to 500 ppm with HERETIC peak as reference.

  • In this paper, a high precision track following control algorithm is proposed for micro electrostatic actuator considering of the application for hard disk drive. The micro electrostatic actuator proposed has nonlinear voltage-displacement characteristic in a working range of 0.8.mu.m and has uni-directional movement. Mid range reference and open-loop bias are proposed for the revision of negative position error, and inverse model for linearization.

This SRF Array gives mobile robot's circumstance information wider, processes and transfers them to the locomotion module to construct the modify path. In this system, 8 pairs of the 40 KHz ultrasonic sensors constitute the SRF Array, including a pair of reference sensors to correct the errors, 4051 analog multiplexer and demultiplexer swtch the sensor with time and 8031-on chip micro computer controls processes the data and communication the others.
