  • Seborrheic dermatitis is acute or chronic inflammatory disease frequently caused by heredtary factor, endocrine abnormality, alcohol, etc. and characterized by red spots with clear boundary itching. It is similar to Myunyoupung in Oriental Medicine. I prescribed the Seungmahwangryun-tang(升麻黃連湯) and Zowiseunggi-tang(調胃承氣湯) to a patient with Seborrheic dermatitis. After taking above medicines. the patient was cured.

홍삼추출잔사로부터 항암면역조절 활성을 보여주는 홍삼산성다당체(RGAP)의 분리 및 이화학적 특성 (Isolation of Immunomodulatory Antitumor Active Polysaccharide (RGAP) from Red Ginseng By-Product and Its Physico-chemical Properties)

  • 홍삼으로부터 홍삼알콜 추출물을 제조하고 부산물로 생성된 홍삼추출잔사로부터 한외 여과를 이용하여 홍삼산성다당체(RGAP, red ginseng acidic polysaccharide)를 대량으로 분리할 수 있는 방법을 개발하였다. 본 방법으로 홍삼추출잔사로부터 분리된 RGAP의 수율은 20.9%이었고, RGAP로부터 지표성분인 활성성분(GFP)의 분리수율은 39.4%이었다. 분리된 RGAP는 macrophage에 의한 NO(nitric oxide)를 생성하여 암세포를 사멸시키는 것으로 나타났다. RGAP를 BALB/c 마우스에 복강투여한 후 분리된 복강 macrophage를 P815 암세포(mastocytoma)와 함께 배양하였을 때 배지내의 NO 농도는 대조군에서 4.3 $\mu\textrm{m}$이었으나, RGAP 100, 300 mg/kg 투여군에서는 각각 9.8 및 25.3$\mu\textrm{m}$로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 아울러 암세포인 P8l5세포의 사멸율도 정상대조군일 경우 7.3%이었으나 RGAP 100, 300 mg/kg 투여군에서는 각각 22.7 및 31.8%로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. RGAP을 2M의 TFA로 10$0^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 가수분해한 후 당 표준품과 TLC로 비교한 결과 당 표준품과 Rf치 및 발색 색깔이 일치하는 4개의 spot, 즉 rhamnose(Rf 0.78, 노란색 ), glucose(Rf 0.61, 녹색), galactose(Rf 0.56, 녹색), glucuronic acid(Rf 0.36, 황갈색)를 관찰할 수 있었다. 가수분해된 RGAP 분해산물을 Gl(glucose)부터 G7(maltoheptaose)까지의 당류와 함께 TLC를 행한 결과 진한 색상을 나타내는 spot은 Rf 0.56~0.61로 G2(maltose, Rf 0.46) 이상의 단당류(monosaccharide)인 것으로 나타났다. RGAP의 일부 이화학적 특성을 조사한 결과 pH는 4.74, 건조감량은 4.72%, 조단백질 함량은 3.30%, 회분은 4.74%이었고 중금속인 Pb는 2.30 ppm이었다.

  • Respiratory diseases are common in swine industry and have great economic importance. Respiratory disorders cause substantial losses to the swine industry. Losses associated with respiratory disease vary considerably between herds and seasons. In a survey was carry out to investigate the lesion of red internal organs in slaughtered pigs and provided assistant data which are useful for each farm. From november 2012 to december 2013, 1,680 pigs out of 84 farms were sampled in Jeonbuk province. Gross lesions such as swine enzootic pneumonia (SEP), pleuritis, pleuropneumonia, pericarditis, liver milk spot were examined for the pigs. Overall prevalence of SEP was 55.7%. According to season, the incidence occurred higher in fall than winter, spring, and summer. The mean SEP score was 0.91, the highest incidence occurred in fall. The prevalence of pleuropneumonia, pleuritis, pericarditis, and milk spot was 36.4%, 49.7%, 2.3%, and 8.8%, respectively. The positive rate of PRRS and PCV2 was 2.9% and 70.0% by PCR analysis.

Comparison of Two Semi-Empirical BRDF algorithms using SPOT/VGT

  • The Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution (BRD) effect is critical to interpret the surface information using remotely sensed data. This effect was caused by geometric relationship between sensor, target and solar that is inevitable effect for data of optical sensor. To remove the BRD effect, semi-empirical BRDF models are widely used. It is faster to calculate than physical models and demanded less observation than empirical models. In this study, Ross-Li kernel and Roujean kernel were used respectively in National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) that are used to compare each other. The semi-empirical model consists of three parts which are isotropic, geometric and volumetric scattering. Each part contained physical kernel and empirical coefficients that were calculated by statistical method. Red and NIR channel of SPOT/VEGETATION product were used to compute Nadir BRDF Adjusted Reflectance (NBAR) over East Asia area from January 2009 to December 2009. S1 product was provided by VITO that was conducted atmospheric correction using Simplified Method of Atmospheric Correction (SMAC). NBAR was calculated using corrected reflectance of red and NIR. Previous study has revealed that Roujean geometric kernel had unphysical values in large zenith angles. We extracted empirical coefficients in three parts and normalized reflectance to compare both BRDF models. Two points located forest in Korea peninsular and bare land in Gobi desert were selected for comparison. As results of time series analysis, both models showed similar reflectance change pattern and reasonable values. Whereas in case of empirical coefficients comparison, different changes pattern of values were showed in isotropic coefficients.

  • Spark variance technique is melded the jagged spill-over-sonance status of the glitter-differentiation knowledge level (GDKL) on the spark knowledge gestalt. The knowledge level condition by the spark knowledge gestalt system is comprised with the spill-over-sonance system. As to search a spot of the glitter situation, we are obtained of the spark value with black-red dot by the spill-over upper structure. The concept of knowledge level is comprised the reference of glitter-differentiation level for variance signal by the spark sonance gestalt. Further presenting a jagged variance of the GDKL of the maximum in terms of the spill-over-sonance gestalt, and spark spot sonance that was the a spark value of the far variance of the Spa-kg-FA-${\rho}_{MAXN}$ with $17.68{\pm}2.22units$, that was the a spark value of the convenient variance of the Spa-kg-CO-${\rho}_{MAXN}$ with $7.55{\pm}0.59units$, that was the a spark value of the flank variance of the Spa-kg-FL-${\rho}_{MAX}$ with $2.70{\pm}0.48units$, that was the a spark value of the vicinage variance of the Spa-kg-VI-${\rho}_{MAX}$ with $0.48{\pm}0.05units$. The spill-over sonance will be to appraisal at the jagged ability of the spill-over-sonance gestalt with black-red dot by the spark knowledge level on the GDKL that is presented the glitter-differentiation gestalt by the knowledge level system. Spill-over knowledge system will be possible to restrain of a gestalt by the special signal and to employ a spark data of spill-over sonance level.

다중분광 위성자료를 이용한 김 양식어장 탐지 (Detection of Laver Aquaculture Site of Using Multi-Spectral Remotely Sensed Data)

  • Recently, aquaculture farm sites have been increased with demand of the expensive fish species and sea food like as seaweed, laver and oyster. Therefore coastal water quality have been deteriorated by organic contamination from marine aquaculture farm sites. For protecting of coastal environment, we need to control the location of aquaculture sites. The purpose of this study is to detect the laver aquaculture sites using multispectral remotely sensed data with autodetection algorithm. In order to detect the aquaculture sites, density slice and contour and vegetation index methods were applied with SPOT and IKONOS data of Shinan area. The marine aquaculture farm sites were extracted by density slice and contour methods with one band digital number(DN) carrying 65% accuracy. However, vegetation index algorithm carried out 75% accuracy using near-infra red and red bands. Extraction of the laver aquaculture site using remotely sensed data will provide the efficient digital map for coastal water management strategies and red tide GIS management system.

적외선 감지 센서를 이용한 점 용접부의 검사 (Inspection of the spot welding using IR sensor)

  • This paper suggests a monitoring method for the pulsed laser spot welding of the thin metal sheets using a point IR(InfraRed) sensor. A new criterion was introduced and the experimental results guaranteed the efficiency. The ideal radiation feature was derived from the mathematical model and was simulated. The radiation feature is robust to withstand the change of measuring condition and can be used to detect the absorbed laser energy. In an experiment, the radiation feature was examined for the differect laser energy. The pulse width and the laser power was variated and the radiation feature was examined. In the other experiment, the relationship between the weld strength and radiation feature was examined. Artificial Neural Network(ANN) was employed to find out the relationship. The correlation coefficient between the real strength and the estimated strength is high as 0.94 and the mean square error is low as 0.64 kgf learned parts. Another group of the welds was used to appraise the learning efficiency. The correlation coefficient between the measured and the estimated weld strength is high as 0.91.

미생물의 색소에 관한 연구. 제1보 (STudies on the Microbial Pigment(I))

  • The bacteria of red colonies isolated from soil were identified as Serratia marcescens. The best solvent for pigment extraction was n-buthanol and the pigment was identified as prodigiosene. The extracted pigment was stable on temperature and light but not on acidity. The redpigment color changed into red in alkaline solution. The maximum absorbancy of pigment was 466 nm in alkaline condition and 540 nm in acid condition. And the pigment formed single spot on the TLC(starch). By the result of infra red spectrum, the red pigment has the same absorption pattern comparing with, the prodigisin produced by S. marcescens strain Nima. It was confirmed that the pigment was secondary metabolite and that the maximal peak of production appeared at 30 hrs after the inoculation, when the bacterial growth was in statinary state. Referring to the effect of temperature, the pigment was not formed at $36^{\circ}C$ and the optimal temperature for both of bactrial growth and pigmentation was $30^{\circ}C$. The optimal range of pH for pigmentation was 5.0 and under the condition the bacterial growth was not affected at all. Examining the effects of light, the bacterial pigment ation was more increased in darkness than in visible light.

성덕대왕신종(聖德大王神鍾) 당목(撞木)의 수종(樹種)과 열화(劣化) (Species Identification and Weathering of Wooden Striker on the Divine Bell of King Songdok)

  • 성덕대왕신종 당목의 수종과 오랜 세월동안 외부적인 요인(태양빛, 수분, 온도, 공기)에 의한 열화를 조사하였다. 당목의 수종은 느티나무(느릅나무과, Zelkova serrata)로 밝혀졌다. 열화로 인한 변화를 육안으로 관찰하였을 때 표면변색, 할렬, 목재면의 거칠어짐이 나타났다. 미세형태학적인 변화는 열화형태에 따라 세 부분(I, II, III-spot)으로 나누어 관찰하였다. I-spot에는 재색으로 변색됨과 동시에 조직의 관찰이 불가능할 정도로 먼지층이 완전히 조직을 뒤덮고 있었다. 그와 달리 변색이 되었지만 조직의 관찰이 가능한 II-spot는 무수한 균사와 세포내강에 유입된 먼지 등의 오염물이 관찰되었다. 세포벽은 열화로 인해 물리적인 강도를 소실하여 약화되어 있으며 그로 인해 세포벽의 미세한 할렬과 찢김 등을 관찰할 수 있었다. 균사가 세포를 뒤덮고 있지만 그로 인한 목재 부후는 관찰되지 않았다. 표면에서 불과 0.5 mm 아래의 III-spot는 목재의 고유한 적갈색을 유지하고 있으며 세포벽은 건전재와 유사하였다. 이상의 변화들은 목재부후와는 구별되었으며 표면에서 불과 0.5 mm 이하의 지극히 표면적인 현상이라고 할 수 있다.

친환경자재를 이용한 인삼 점무늬병과 탄저병의 발병억제효과 (Suppressive Effects of Homemade Environment-friendly Materials on Alternaria Blight and Anthracnose of Ginseng)

  • 본 연구는 인삼점무늬병과 탄저병에 대한 친환경자재로 만들어진 친환경 살균제의 억제효과를 알아보기 위해서 수행을 했다. 인삼 점무늬병과 인삼 탄저병들은 인삼뿌리가 비대하기 시작하기 전에 낙엽을 시켜서 수확량을 크게 감소하는 주요한 병들이다. 천연칼슘, 녹차추출물, 홍삼박 술등은 A. panax에 의해서 유발된 인삼 점무늬병에 대해서 상당한 억제효과를 보였고 게 껍질 발효액과 익모초자연즙액은 C. gloeosporioides에 의해서 유발된 인삼탄저병에 대해서 큰 억제효과를 나타내었다. 이들 친환경 살균제는 치료효능보다 대체적으로 예방효능이 더 우수 하였다. 그러므로 이들 친환경 자재들은 인삼 유기재배포장에서 사용할 수 없는 화학농약을 대체하는 살균제로써 이용할 수 있고 그들의 억제효과를 극대화하기 위해 발병 전에 처리를 해야 한다.
