녹지자원을 활용한 대구광역시 녹지연계망 구축방안 (A Study of the Establishment of Green Network in Daegu Metropolitan City Using Green Resources)

  • This paper has attempted to improve the quality of urban environment in terms of the management of urban green tract and suggest a way of coexistence between human and nature by proposing a plan to establish green network using an urban green zone based on 'linear concept' instead of point and plane concepts. The results have turned out as follows: 1. According to current status of forest functions, forest recreation area has reached 39.6%, satisfying citizens' needs. However, the space for living environment is just about 20% with a lack of a green zone. Therefore, it's been necessary to establish green network using roadside trees and take advantage of them as sustainable living space along with existing green tract. 2. With forest in the suburbs and Geumhogang which is the tributary to the Nakdonggang, Sincheon (stream) flows through the downtown. It connects mountains including Waryongsan from the south to the north around Duryu Park and Dalseong Park. Therefore, the water system that passes through Palgongsan (Mt.) and Biseulsan (Mt.) would make it possible to connect with the parks in the downtown. 3. According to this paper, it appears that it's necessary to establish green network through roof or wall greening by focusing on the existing green tract in the urban parks and suburbs and taking advantage of roadside trees and water system.

도시 비오톱의 자연체험 가치 평가모형의 개발과 적용 (Development and Application of an Evaluation Model for Urban Biotope Appraisal)

  • The purpose of this study is to construct an evaluation criteria based on the relative importance and various combinations of each evaluation index and then to appraise urban biotope in terms of nature experience and recreation. After the standard of evaluation had been developed through the review of existing literature, the relative importance of the evaluation index through expert survey was determined, and the evaluation model to assess biotope value was established. The results of this study are as follows; 1) We have constructed the seventeen evaluation criteria through literature reviews, and have provided relative importance to each evaluation index of the natural in biotope, the diversity of landscape patterns, the appearance-existence of water space, the special landscape elements, and the access based on the results of expert survey. and then we have constructed an evaluation system using the relative importance criteria. 2) To evaluate urban biotope using the evaluation system constructed, we selected 14 sites. The final evaluation results of each site is as follows; The first grade areas are the water space with semi-natural style in front of Gangchon Woobang apartments, the forest zone near Page Temple at Mt. Palgong, the edge area of Jisan and Gosan and the tendril yard against Anshim middle school. The second grade areas are Hyomyung elementary school, the farm land behind the third Anshim Jugong apartment, Ehyun put and the swampy land in front of the Kangchon and Anshim construction site. The third grade areas are Seohan and Hwasung high-rise apartments at Beummul-Dong, the Korea Manpower Agency in the Sungseo industrial zone, and the adjacent area of St. Tongil. The only fourth grade area is the commercial zone near Taegu Department Store. 3) It is highly useful to evaluate urban biotope using the evaluation criteria constructed for this research, the evaluation criteria we developed may be difficult to encompass all expert opinion and the period of space-formation is difficult to estimate urban biotopes. In the future, it is necessary to gather the basic data suitable to estimate biotope and it is necessary to develop detailed evaluation criteria applicable to estimate every biotope that has specific property.

Hemeroby 도면작성과 녹지계획에서의 활용 -대구시를 사례로- (Hemeroby Mapping and its Application in Open Space Planning -The Case of Daegu Metropolitan City-)

  • The purpose of this study is to assess naturalness of each and use type for Daegu and provide the basic data for urban green space planning. The results are as follows: 1) As a result of periodic analysis, It is known that in the 1400´s that the rate of a-/oligo-/meso-hemeroby was over 90% of that area, in which naturalness was very high. By the 2020´s, the population will increase to about 3,500,000 and the occupation rae of meat-and poly-hemeroby, where naturalness is very low, is expected to increase rapidly. 2) The recent land uses of Daegu are divided ito 17 types. In the survey of a occupation rate of each land use type, a forest are occupies 48.8% of the entire area. The military installation zone is lowest with 0.07%. 3) Investigation of a dominant hemeroby grade in each land use type showed that the urban complex area in characterized by meta-hemeroby : and the space for pavement and building construction where naturalness is lowest. On the other hand, oligo-hemeroby that is worth being preserved was surveyed to be dominant in woodlands and natural forests. 4) In the analysis of hemeroby mapping in the process of a green space planning, it is clear that hemeroby will be used a s a tool that assesses the suitability for recreation activity of each sample case. For example, it enables a poly-hemeroby region to be utilized as a near-natural recreation area including $\beta$-and $\alpha$-euhemeroby region in Daegu. Besides, hemeroby can provide basic data to make a value judgement of each sample case with a view to preservation of nature.

수도권(首都圈)에 있어서 도시교통발생특성(都市交通發生特性)과 그 예측모형(豫測模型) (Characteristics and Forecasting Models of Urban Traffic Generation in Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • 본(本) 연구(硏究)는 도시교통계획(都市交通計劃)에서 장래교통발생예측시(將來交通發生豫測時) 항상 문제(問題)로 되는 설명변수선택(說明變數選擇)의 애매성(曖昧性)을 해결(解決)하기 위하여 교통발생(交通發生)의 설명지표(說明指標)를 제안(提案)하는 동시(同時)에 최량(最良)의 도시교통발생(都市交通發生) Model을 작성(作成)하였다. 제안(提案)된 설명지표(說明指標)를 사용(使用)하여 목적별(目的別) 교통발생중회귀(交通發生重回歸) 모델을 작성(作成)하고, 단일변수(單一變數)로 설명(說明)이 가능(可能)한 것은 교통발생(交通발生)의 비손성(非負性)을 확보(確保)하기 위하여 단회귀(單回歸)모델로 수정(修正)하였다. 그러나 다변수(多變數)가 도입(導入)되어도 설명(說明)이 불충분(不充分)한 목적별(目的別) 교통(交通)(등교집중(等校集中)과 자유목적(自由目的)의 발생(發生)모델)은 동질(同質)의 토지이용활동(土地利用活動)으로부터 발생(發生)하는 교통(交通)의 발생특성(發生特性)이 유이(類似)함에 주목(注目)하여 각(各) zone을 특성별(特性別)로 분류(分類)하고 zone 군별(群別)로 교통발생(交通發生) 모델을 작성(作成)하여 통계적(統計的)으로 유의성(有意性)을 검토(檢討)하였다. 그리고 장래교통발생예측(將來交通發生豫測)은 단순(單純)하면서도 예측정도(豫測精度)의 제고(提高)가 바람직하므로 토지이용활동별(土地利用活動別)로 교통발생원단위(交通發生原單位)를 작성(作成)하고 안정성(安定性)을 고찰(考察)하여 교통발생예측시(交通發生豫測時) 실용가능(實用可能)한 원단위(原單位)를 제안(提案)하였다.

랜드마크를 고려한 농업용저수지 최적정비모델의 개선 (Improvement to Optimum Equipment Model of Agricultural Reservoir Considering Land Mark)

  • Recently, the Yedang reservoir needs reflecting the demands of the public and administration, including change of reservoir status and paradigm shift of users, as well as planning programs to activate the area as a special health zone for tourism, leisure, recreation and experience at the local government level. Previous Optimum Equipment model (OEM) preferentially considers the creation of waterfront. This study shows the operation model for readjustment of water supply facilities according to the limit of the level of the beneficiaries. Results show the renovation cycle of Yedang tourist resort and the suspension bridge through developed model simulation. In addition to securing quantity for the supply of agricultural water and the function of water protection, the multi-function of the agricultural reservoir shall be re-evaluated to enhance the diverse availability of the agricultural reservoir. The county office should also boost various availability at various levels to revitalize the local economy, such as producing pleasant and safe places and offering safe food for people.

Estimating the Air Temperature Cooling Effect of the Cheonggyechun Stream Restoration Project of Seoul, Korea

  • Urban stream restoration projects can improve water quality, wildlife habitats, urban landscape, outdoor recreation spaces, and urban microclimate. The objectives of this research were to investigate temperature cooling effect of urban streams by using satellite imagery, to evaluate environmental variables related to stream cooling effect, and to estimate the cooling effect of the Cheonggye stream restoration project of Seoul, Korea. Findings of this research can be summarized as follows. First, a method of estimating temperature distribution around urban streams by using satellite imagery was developed. Scatter plots of distance from stream edges and average temperature obtained through multiple buffering were used for the estimation. Second, urban temperature cooling effect of streams was estimated by comparing background temperature and temperature of each buffer zone. Third, environmental factors affecting stream cooling effect were also identified. Fourth, the temperature cooling effect of the restoration project was estimated based on three scenarios. An estimated cooling effect based on the average cooling effect of existing tributaries showed the most significant effect; $2.0^{\circ}C$ lower than the present level at the edge of the renovated stream. It was estimated that the temperature of the same area would be $1.4^{\circ}C$ cooler than the present level if the cooling effect of the Yangjaechun was used as the bench mark But the effect would be $1.2^{\circ}C$ lower than the present level if environmental variables related to the temperature cooling effect of urban streams were used as the bench mark.

인공어초시설사업의 경제적 효과에 관한 연구 -수우도 인공어초어장을 중심으로- (A Study on the Economic Effects of Artificial Reefs -In Case of Suwoo-do Artificial Reefs-)

  • Korean fisheries industry is surrounding by domestic and international difficulties due to the effectuation of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and declaration by many coastal states of 200-mile Exclusive Economic Zone and acceleration of ocean pollution in global recognition increasing of the importance of the ocean Resource enhancement policy in Korea fisheries industry is very important strategy fer the fostering of the fisheries resource and proper conservation and management of the coastal and off-shore living marine. Among resource enhancement policy, artificial reefs project has been the most effective strategy. The objectives of this paper are to find the economic effects of artificial reefs. The sampling artificial reefs is constructed at Suiido with 6~7m height. In order to analyze the fishing effect of artificial reefs, a few research have been conducted since 1975. For these analysis focuses on the side of scientific effect of artificial reefs, we analyzed on the side of economic effect. The results of the economic effects of artificial reefs are as follows ; First, the fishing effect analysis by using the NPV method in artificial reefs of Suiido ground prove to be economic feasibility. Second, the major socio-economic effect from artificial reefs include the increasing of recreation fishing, maintenance of fishing community, protection illegal fishing, conservation of coastal environment, and enlargement of advanced fisheries supply. Based on the above results, we conclude that artificial reefs project not only contributes to the welfare of fishermen by increasing of economic income, but enlarges to socio-economic gains by protection of illegal fishing and conservation coastal environment and so on.

유역시스템 정화력을 고려한 생태위해성평가 사례연구: Lake Texoma Watershed (TX&OK, USA)를 대상으로 (Ecological Risk Assessment based on Watershed System Assimilative Capacity in take Texoma, Texas-Oklahoma, USA)

  • Lake Texoma is located on the border of southern Oklahoma and northern Texas. It has 93,000 surface acres, and is a focus of the recreation, and farming industries in the region. There are potential stressors around the Lake Texoma watershed that may cause adverse ecological effects in the lake. System assimilative capacity (SAC) is the ability of abiotic and biotic processes to atteuniate the stressors. SAC Exceeded indicates potential of occuring adverse eco-effects. A number of representative chemical release sites and stressor sources in the surrounding watershed were characterized, and several impact sites having stressors sources, such as being near agriculture, landfills, housing areas, oil production fields and heavy use recreational activity, were selected for surface water, sediment, and groundwater monitoring. A paired reference site, having similar physical characteristics as its impact site, was also chosen based on its proximity to the impact site. Lake water samples were collected at locations identified as marina entrance, gasoline filling station, and boat dock at five marinas selected on Lake Texoma from September 1999 to December 2001. Paired water and sediment samples were also collected. Groundwater samples were collected at about 70 producing monitoring wells. Water quality parameters measured were inorganics (nitrate, nitrite, orthophosphate, ammonia, sulfate, and chloride), dissolved methane, total organic carbon (TOC) (or DOC), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) and BTEX, and a suite of metals. Biotic communities were evaluated at impact and reference sites. Five basic components were measured; two terrestirial components (plants and bird comminitires) and three aquatic components (benthic inverbrates, litteral-zone fishes, ecosystem attribures). Potential impacts to these comminites were evaluated.

GPR탐사를 통해 본 경주 월성의 유적 분포 현황 연구 (A Study of Disposition of Archaeological Remains in Wolseong Fortress of Gyeongju : Using Ground Penetration Radar(GPR))

  • 그동안 신라의 왕성이었던 월성에 대한 연구는 월성을 중심으로 한 도성제와 월성해자 발굴을 통한 월성 주변의 모습에 치중해 있었다. 그러나 2004년에 월성 지표조사보고서가 발간되고 시험적 성격으로서 GPR탐사가 월성 내에서 실시되면서 월성에 대한 학술적 관심은 성내부로 변화되었다. 다행히 경주 월성의 고고학적 기초학술 조사가 시작되고 사업의 일환으로 월성 전 지역에 대한 물리탐사를 2007년 3월부터 1년에 걸쳐 실시하게 되었다. 이번 조사의 기본 목적은 GPR탐사를 실시하여 시험탐사에서 확인된 매장유구를 월성 전체 지역에 대하여 영상화하는 것이다. 미리 설정한 격자망에 수많은 측선을 조밀하게 설치하여 3차원 GPR 탐사를 실시하였으며 총 조사면적은 $112,535m^2$이다. 분석은 Depth Slice를 실시하여 각 깊이별로 유구의 변화양상과 중복상황을 파악할 수 있도록 하였으며, Slice Overlay 분석법을 이용하여 각 깊이별 반사체를 하나의 도면으로 추출하였다. 또한 3차원 입체분석법인 Isolated Surface 영상화를 실시하여 유구 해석의 이해를 높였다. 그 결과 월성 내에서 총 14개의 구역으로 구분 지을 수 있는 크고 작은 건물지가 확인되었으며, 주목되는 곳은 월성의 서부(2구역), 중부(9구역), 동부(14구역)에 중요시설물일 것으로 짐작게 하는 대규모의 범상한 건물배치가 있는 3개의 구역이다. 본 연구결과를 통해서 3차원 GPR탐사는 광역적인 유적탐사에 매우 효과적이며 그 자료처리에 있어서 Slice Overlay 분석법은 지하 매장물에 대한 쉽고 뚜렷한 영상을 제공할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

철도개발지 선정을 위한 환경·생태적 가치 지표 평가 (Evaluation of the environmental and ecological value indicators for railway development area selection)

  • 최근 국토의 산악자원을 활용한 철도를 도입하는 등 산악관광 활성화를 도모하려는 움직임이 나타나고 있으며, 친환경 교통수단으로의 철도수송 분담률을 증대시키려는 정책이 수행됨에 따라 단선철도의 복선화 및 선형개량 사업 등 전국 철도망이 확대되고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 "환경친화적 철도지침"에 따르면, 철도건설 시 고려해야 할 주요 환경영향평가항목으로 대기질, 수질, 지형 지질, 동 식물상, 자연환경자산, 소음 진동, 위락 경관 등 7개 항목을 선언적으로만 제시하고 있으며, 특히 동 식물상과 자연환경자산 항목에서는 법제적 측면에서 환경보호지역의 유무만을 고려하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 환경 생태적 가치를 정량적 평가항목으로 고려할 것을 제안하였고, 이를 계량적으로 뒷받침하기 위해 평가 지표와 평가 항목을 선정하고 각각의 주제도와 철도망을 중첩하여 분석하였다. 주요 지표로 자연성과 다양성을 선정하였고, 각 지표별 항목의 평점을 산정하여 철도개발지 선정에 반영하고자 하였다. 이와 같은 평가 방법을 활용하여 추후 환경친화적인 철도건설에 적용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
