  • In this paper, double encryption technique of binary image using random phase mask and 2-step phase-shifting digital holography is proposed. After phase modulating of binary image, firstly, random phase mask to be used as key image is generated through the XOR operation with the binary phase image. And the first encrypted image is encrypted again through the fresnel transform and 2-step phase-shifting digital holography. In the decryption, simple arithmetic operation and inverse Fresnel transform are used to get the first decryption image, and second decryption image is generated through XOR operation between first decryption image and key image. Finally, the original binary image is recovered through phase modulation.

  • The classification of the tablets recovered according to prescription changes is usually carried out manually by a number of pharmacists at the hospitals. Relatively high-wage pharmacists carry out the reclassification of the tablets, which results in a large loss of time and labor, and if the tablets are incorrectly classified, this can lead to medical accidents. In order to overcome these problems, a new automatic tablet classifying machine has been introduced. In the conventional automatic tablet classifying machine, tablets having various shapes, sizes, and colors are transferred to a classifying machine through the line feeder. Problems such as breakaway of the tablets from the line feeder, pilling of the tablets in the line feeder, and appearance contamination of the tablets occur. In this paper, we propose a system that automatically classifies the shape, size, and color of tablets through individual supply method by vacuum adsorption and image processing.

  • This paper estimated the container volumes for the Incheon port with univariate time series. As best suited models Winters' additive model, ARIMA model, and Winters' additive model were selected by import-export, coastal, and transshipment volume respectively, based on the data of monthly volume by October 2008 since January 2001. This study supposed the import-export container volumes would be decreased by 14% against that in 2008 and would have been recovered to the increasing trend of the volumes beyond the fourth quarter of 2010. The future import-export and transshipment volumes showed the increasing trend beyond 2011, while the coastal volumes would be on the stagnation. The yearly container volumes were finally forecasted as 1,705, 2,432, and 3,341 thousand TEU in 2011, 2015, and 2020 respectively.

  • In this paper, a new temporal error concealment method for the new coding standard H.264/AVC is presented, which uses the high correlation between the motion vectors of neighboring blocks. By using the motion vector of neighboring MB of the lost MB, the MV of the lost MB are recovered. It is shown that under FMO coding method of H.264/AVC, the proposed method increases PSNR gain up to 2.85dB compared to build-in algorithm in the H.264/AVC test model and 2.59dB compared to Lagrange interpolation.

  • There are many methods of obtaining butadiene described in the literature. In the america it is produced largely from petroleum gases, i.e., by catalytic dehydrogenation of butene of butene-butane mixtures. Butadiene can be recovered from the $C_4$ residue of an olefin plant by distilling off a fraction containing most of the butadiene, catalytically hydrogenating the higher acetylenes to olefins and separating the product from other olefins and isobutane by extraction. Also it can be obtained by cracking naphtha and light oil. Among the individual dienes of commercial importance, 1, 3-butadiene is of first importance. It is used primarily for the production of polymers. In the present paper, it was investigated for a effect of the formation and the growth inhibition of popped corn polymer in butadiene extraction unit. As a result of study, inhibitors, $NaNO_2$ and TBC were good effective for inhibition of the formation and growth in popcorn polymer. The rational formula of popcorn polymer obtained was $(C_4H_6)_x$.

  • This paper focuses on recovering systematic biases during LIDAR calibration, particularly using natural surfaces as control features. Many previous approaches have utilized all the points overlapping with the control features and often experienced with an inaccurate value converged with a poor rate due to wrong correspondence in pairing a point and the corresponding control features. To overcome these shortcomings, we establish a preventive scheme to select the pairs of high confidence, where the confidence value is based on the error budget associated with the point measurement and the linearity and roughness of the control feature. This approach was then applied to calibraring the LIDAR data simulated with the given systematic biases. The parameters were successfully recovered using the proposed approach with the accuracy and convergence rate superior to those using the previous approaches.

  • The genus Peloribates is comparatively species rich and distributed worldwide. More than 90 species have been assigned to this genus, but three species were reported in Korea. We recovered a new species, Peloribates barbatus Aoki, 1977 to Korean inventory in the family Haplozetidae (Acari: Oribatida) from the straw mat covering the cherry trees. This species was originally reported as inhabiting in lichens growing on tombstones in Japan. In this paper, we present a comparative account of morphological description of the species with other three congeneric species in Korea.

  • this paper presents the findings of a study in which throat cultures was ontained from all grade of primary school surrounding Seoul area. The number and percentages of children with positive throat cultures of streptococci were 181 cases (9.4%) among 1914 cases. Group A streptococci composed 4.3% (83 cases) of betahemolytic streptococci recovered. A total of 181 strains of group A streptococci were tested for susceptibility to 21 anibiotics in vitro. The strains were almost equally sensitive to most of the individual antibiotics : all of the group A strains were uniformly susceptible to bacitracin ; 93.6% to ampicillin ; 82.3% to erythromycin. The susceptibility to colymycin to colymycin and kanamycin were not found.

  • Most serious patients who have the paralysis of their ankles can't use of their feet freely. But their ankles can be recovered by an ankle bending rehabilitation exercise and a ankle rotating rehabilitation exercise. Recently, the professional rehabilitation therapeutists are much less than stroke patients in number. Therefore, the ankle-rehabilitation robot should be developed. The developed robot can be dangerous because it can't measure the applied bending force and twisting moment of the patients' ankles. In this paper, the six-axis force/moment sensor for the ankle-rehabilitation robot was specially designed the weight of foot and the applied force to foot in rehabilitation exercise. As a test results, the interference error of the six-axis force/moment sensor was less than 2.51%. It is thought that the sensor can be used to measure the bending force and twisting moment of the patients' ankles in rehabilitation exercise.

  • Computing the natural-looking interpolation of different shapes is a fundamental problem of computer graphics. It is proved by some researchers that such an interpolation can be achieved by pursuing the isometry. In this paper, a novel coordinate system that is invariant under isometries is defined. The coordinate system can easily be converted from the global vertex coordinates. Furthermore, the global coordinates can be efficiently recovered from the new coordinates by simply solving two sparse least-squares problems. Since the proposed coordinate system is invariant under isometries, then transformations such as global rigid trans-formations, articulated posture deformations, or any other isometric deformations, do not change the coordinate values. Therefore, shape interpolation can be done in this framework without being affected by the distortions caused by the isometry.
