Administrative information datasets are a kind of record produced based on an organization's work performance. A dataset is evidence of the act of recording and contains a lot of information that can be used for work. Datasets have been neglected in Korea's records management system. However, as the law was revised in 2020, the management of administrative information datasets was legislated. Organizations that require management of administrative information datasets have already gradually begun record management. The core of managing administrative information datasets is the preparation of the Management Reference Table for the dataset. Regardless, there is confusion with the Records Management Reference Table for Dataset in institutions that work on records management, and it is difficult to work because the Management Reference Table for Dataset has a new concept. This study looked into the problems in the records management of datasets that appeared at the beginning of work. It isuggests a method to effectively settle records management for datasets. In that way, the Management Reference Table was selected as the research subject, and the problems discussed so far were summarized. In addition, the items of the current Management Reference Table were analyzed. As a result of the study, we have proposed the simplification of items in the Management Reference Table, the reorganization of areas in the Management Reference Table, the introduction of the concept of retention periods, and the preparation process of the Management Reference Table.

The study aims to analyze the records management reference tables currently being utilized and to provide directions on how should be redesigned in the future to operate as a appraisal tool for national archives. From the perspective of "what records should be the national archives", it was intended to analyze the records management reference tables, particularly in the environmental public authorities, and to propose future improvements. The main focus of the analysis is on appraising records that need to be preserved as national archives, and therefore, prior to analysis of the tables, it examines whether the archival selection criteria are clearly presented. Subsequently, the study is conducted how to implement this criteria through the records management reference table of each agency and how its implementation system will be constructed. The analysis will be focused on Ministry of Environment's records management reference table and records schedules or appraisal/selection tools of the central and federal institutions that perform environmental functions in U.S., Australia, and UK.

Recently, public organizations have been improving the classification in order to introduce records management reference table in accordance with the act on the management of public archives. However, there is no system to mount the revised records management reference table, and there is a problem in usability. The purpose of this study is to design a system function to manage the classification which is the foundation of records management for public organizations. In order to design the function, interviews with the records management specialists of the five public organizations were conducted. Based on this, we have designed a multi-classification system registration function, a hierarchical structure setting function of records, and a record management standard management function.

The study seeks to analyze the procedures and methods of preparing the records management reference table of the electronic human resource management system dataset, the roles of participating organizations, and the contents of each management reference table area from the records manager's perspective to help the person in charge of establishing the management reference table. Improvement plans were suggested based on the problems that appeared during the process of preparing the reference table. As a major improvement plan, a separate selecting policy at the level of the national archives should be designed for the national important dataset records in the government information system, which should be operated such that it preserves the entire dataset rather than a part. It is necessary to set the unit function-data table-unstructured data mapping data as mandatory items, and the selection and management criteria for unstructured data that significantly influence system operation should be additionally prepared. Regarding the setting of the disposition delay period, because there is an aspect of increasing complexity, it is deemed desirable to operate it by integrating related unit functions or setting the retention period longer.

This study aims to develop the records management standard table of the college of education through mapping transaction and records folder based on identifying the problems of the college of education. For these purpose, the study analyzed the records classification system of the all college of education. And then, drew out the business transaction items for records management standard table of the college of education based on the records management standard table of the local governments. Consequently, based on analysis, this study developed the records management standard table and suggested efficient management plan to apply Business Reference Model(BRM) to the college of education in 2017.

Currently, an implementation plan of administrative information dataset record management has been prepared; however, analyzing the specificity of various administrative information systems and preparing a reasonable level of management reference table by applying about 1.3% (EA portal registration system: 16,199, consulting system: 214) has its limitations. This study started by recognizing the importance of the records management environment in administrative information datasets. Based on the described information, the current records management environment was analyzed by dividing the six areas of the management reference table of the picture archiving and communication system (PACS) into three groups. Thus, a systematic environmental improvement model was proposed, enhancing the effectiveness of dataset records management in the field. Although there is a limitation in analyzing one of the dataset records management environments of various institutions, it is intended to help broaden the horizons of records management research.

BRM (Business Reference Model, hereinafter referred to as BRM) has been introduced with the objective to improve task-related information sharing among organizations, task processing speed, efficiency of organization management, and administrative services. Furthermore, a Records Management Reference Table, which is a business-based records management system, has been put in to operation. However, it is necessary to reidentify if the BRM is put into use according to its initial objectives and purposes after 10 years of its introduction based on the pending problems and matters of improvement. Therefore, in this study, the necessity for business transaction management has been reviewed based on the problems present in the "business transaction" operation, which is the lowest unit of BRM, and it proposes a business transaction identification plan through a business analysis. As a result, three major points to improve BRM management have been suggested.

According to the amendment of the Enforcement Decree of the Public Records Management Act in 2020, an administrative information dataset record management plan will be enacted, and the National Archives of Korea plans to establish an integrated administrative information dataset management system to support it. However, there is no specific service plan that considers the characteristics of the datasets and the Management Reference Table. Therefore, this paper compared and analyzed the current status of dataset services at 14 domestic and foreign public data portals and archives websites, derived implications, and proposed 6 service plans applicable to the integrated administrative information dataset management system. This study's results will lead to utilizing the administrative datasets and the activation of services.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status and causes of misclassification of school records and to suggest the directions to improve the School Records Management Criteria Table(general disposition authority for school records), which will lead to misclassification reducement. This study begins with analysing the records created or received in four schools sampled for one year to investigate the status and causes of misclassifications. A advisory group including four administrative officers and seven records managers was formed and group meeting was held twice to identify the causes of the misclassification and to suggest alternatives. In this study, 33 unit tasks(transactions) with frequent misclassification were identified, and the cause of misclassification was analyzed based on focus group interviews. The main causes of misclassification were categorized into two types. This study concludes with suggesting the improvement of the School Records Management Criteria Table for addressing the causes, including commentary reinforcement and the addition of workflow to complex tasks.

The relocation project of the US military base in South Korea is a large-scale national project aimed at ensuring a stable presence of US troops stationed in South Korea and strengthening the future-oriented Korea-US Alliance by relocating the US military base scattered across the country to Pyeongtaek. The purpose of this study is to examine the classification of records produced by various agencies involved in the relocation project, including the MND USFK Base Relocation Office that is the main body of the project, and provide basic data for systematic records management in the future. This study aims to ensure the people's right to know and achieve the objective of the transmission of the military documentary heritage at a macro level.
