In order to improve the operational reliability, it is necessary to validate the measured sensor data, isolate any failed sensor and recover the failed critical measurement. This paper describes the use of estimating equation to identify failed sensors and to recover the feedback signal for control purpose when the sensor measurement is determined to be erroneous Simulation results show that the proposed sensor validation scheme can adequately identify the failed sensor and provide reasonable estimates for control purposes.

Recently, as a performance based design concept is introduced, assurance of expected performances on serviceability and safety in the whole span of life is exactly requested. So, quantitative assessments about durability related properties of concrete in early-age long term are come to necessary, Especially in early age, deterioration which affects long-term durability performance can be occurred by hydration heat and shrinkage, so development of reasonable hydration heat model which can simulate early age behavior is necessary. The micor-pore structure formation property also affects shrinkage behavior in early age and carbonations and chloride ion penetration characteristic in long term, So, for the quantitative assessment on durability performance of concrete, modelings of early age concrete based on hydration process and micor-pore structure formation characteristics are important. In this paper, a micromechanics based hydration heat evolution model is adopted and a quantitative model which can simulate micro-pore structure development is also verified with experimental results. The models can be used effectively to simulate the early-age behavior of concrete composed of different mix proportions.

A party who relies on a breach of contract must take such measures as are reasonable in the circumstances to mitigate the loss, including loss of profit, resulting from the breach. Appropriate measures are those aimed at lessing the loss as far as reasonably possible. Such measures will typically be a resale of the goods by the seller or a cover purchase by the buyer. The measures the injured party is expected to take in order to mitigate the loss must be reasonable in the circumstances. Article 77 will be applied to the difference between the amount by which the loss should have been mitigated under Article 77. A reduction of damages is the only remedy available to the party in breach in cases covered by Article 77. If the buyer has received the goods and intends to exercise any right under the contract or this Convention to reject them, he must take such steps to preserve them as are reasonable in the circumstances. If goods dispatched to the buyer have been placed at his disposal at their destination and he exercises the right to reject them, he must take possession of them on behalf of the seller. Article 86(1) requires that the buyer manifest his intention at the moment of receipt of the goods. Article 86(2) envisages that the goods have been dispatched to the buyer and that they have been placed at his disposal at their destination. Article 87 allows him to deposit them in the warehouse of a third person. It is not necessary that the warehouse by public, or that it be a general warehouse for storage. A party who is bound to preserve the goods in accordance with articles 86 may sell them by any appropriate means taking possession of the goods or in taking them back or in paying the price or the cost of preservation. If the goods are subject to rapid deterioration or their preservation world involve unreasonable expense, a party who is bound to preserve the goods must take reasonable measures to sell them. A difference exists between paragraph Article 88 (1) which grants the right to sell, and paragraph (2 )which imposes the duty to take reasonable measures to sell the goods. According to Article 88(2), the party who wishes to sell must give notice to the other party of such intention, to the extent possible.

The purpose of this study was to analyze which factors have had impacts on extension export insurance charge of Korean export insurance. In order to attainment of this study, an empirical study was proceeded. The export insurance charge was hired as the dependent variable and export insurance premium, insurance compensation charge, export insurance collection charge and export insurance fund were used as independent variables. Data was used for estimation are the annually data from 1969 to 2007. From results of this analysis, we find the hired variables have highly correlation among them and the most influential factor turns out to be export insurance fund. Main results of this study was as follows : i) The export insurance fund must be increased immediately. ii) It is necessary that Korea Export Insurance Corporation give their attention to the compensate amount of export insurance compensation on specific insurance item. iii) It is necessary that Korea Export Insurance Corporation extension the collection efforts of the export insurance. iv) A reasonable raising of export insurance premium need to be done.

In this paper we calculate the subgroup size necessary for detecting the change of percent defective with several detection probabilities for orginal population fraction nonconforming p, changed population fraction nonconforming $p^*$, and the ratio k=$p^*$/p in the usage of p control charts. From our calculation we can know the error level of normal a, pp.oximation in detection probability calculation and recommend the subgroup size with lower error levels of normal a, pp.oximation, and then we show the reasonable subgroup size necessary for p, $p^*$, k, and the detection probability of the change of fraction nonconforming in a process. The information that we here show in tables will be useful when p control chart users decide the subgroup size in the p control chart users decide the subgroup size in the p control chart.

The thixoforming process has been applied to forming of a joint node for the aluminum frame of a low speed electric vehicle. A joint node should connect three aluminum extruded chassis showing different profiles. The MHS(magnetohydrodynamic stirring) A357 billet was selected because homogeneous globular grains are necessary as the billet materials for thixoforming. A careful design of joint node has been performed by the considerations of structural demands and the simulation results for the thixoforming process using the MAGMAsoft. Optimum heating temperature for the A357 billet was between 580 and $585^{\circ}C$ corresponding to the semi-solid temperatures showing 20-30% of liquid fraction. An injection speed of around 100mm/s and preheating of die at temperatures of $200^{\circ}C$ were also necessary conditions to obtain reasonable thixoformed parts.
