  • 광범위한 범위에서 사용되고 있는 실시간 시스템을 위하여 실시간 커널의 사용은 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 분야에서 사용될 수 있는 이식성이 높고, 목적 시스템에 필용한 커널 서비스만을 선택하여 커널의 크기를 조절할 수 있는 실시간 커널의 개발하였다. 이 커널은 병렬 커널로의 확작성을 고려하여 LINDA 개념을 기초로 하여 개발되었는데. 기존에 개발된 실시간 커널 HLINDA와 비교하였을 때 보다 좋은 성능을 보여주었다. 또한 시스템 기초화 부분과 콘텍스트 스위치 등, 몇 부분을 제외한 전 커널의 95%이상을 C-언어로 작성하여 높은 이식성을 갖고 있다.

  • Recently As the performance of the personal computer has been improving rapidly lots of research for the pc-based numerical computer actively progress in an easy repair maintenance and improving the performance with less cost. This paper presents the design using complex programmable logic device(CPLD). The CPU of Motion Controller that function as the real time control of the independent multi-axis motion the error-detect module and external I/O control made use of 80C196KC, In this paper The PC-NC effectively distributed to the load of NCK(numerical computer kernel) and have the advantage of high speed and precision.

  • In this paper a GPS receiver is developed using commercial chipsets. GP2010 RF front end and GP2021 Multi-channel correlator of GEC PLESSY are adapted in designing the receiver hardware. MC 68340 is used for controlling the correlator GP2021 and implementing the navigation processing. Also presented are some test results of the developed receiver whose software has an interrupt driven structure rather than common real-time kernel based structure.

  • In this paper for developing and implementing the realtime HD level video streaming transmitter which is operated on the multi-platform in all network and client environment compared to the exist video live streaming transmitter. We design the realtime HD level video streaming transmitter supporting the multi-platform using the TMS320DM386 video processor of T.I company and then porting the Linux kernel 2.6.29 and implementing the RTSP(Real Time Streaming Protocol)/RTP(Real Time Transport Protocol), HLS(Http Live Streaming), RTMP(Real Time Messaging Protocol) that can support the multi-platform of video stream protocol of the received equipments (smart phone, tablet PC, notebook etc.). For proving the performance of developed video streaming transmitter, we make the testing environment for testing the performance of streaming transmitter using the notebook, iPad, android Phone, and then analysis the received video in the client displayer. In this paper, we suggest the developed the Realtime HD(High Definition) level Video Streaming transmitter performance data values higher than the exist products.

DEVELOPMENT OF REAL-TIME DATA REDUCTION PIPELINE FOR KMTNet (KMTNet 실시간 자료처리 파이프라인 개발)

  • Real-time data reduction pipeline for the Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet) was developed by Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI). The main goal of the data reduction pipeline is to find variable objects and to record their light variation from the large amount of observation data of about 200 GB per night per site. To achieve the goal we adopt three strategic implementations: precision pointing of telescope using the cross correlation correction for target fields, realtime data transferring using kernel-level file handling and high speed network, and segment data processing architecture using the Sun-Grid engine. We tested performance of the pipeline using simulated data which represent the similar circumstance to CTIO (Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory), and we have found that it takes about eight hours for whole processing of one-night data. Therefore we conclude that the pipeline works without problem in real-time if the network speed is high enough, e.g., as high as in CTIO.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of library for real-time operating system Q+, that was developed for the internet appliance. The library in the real-time operating system should be defined according to the standard interface and support the functions that are adequate to the real-time application. To ensure the compatibility between application programs, the Q+ library follows industrial and international standards, such as POSIX.1, ISO 7942 GKS. And, to support the Q+ application, library provides C standard functions, graphic/window functions, network functions, security support functions, file system functions. The Q+ library was implemented using the Q+ kernel, Digital TV set-top box, and KBUG debugging tool.

  • This thesis presents MPU module, Base board and sensor module which are efficient industrial control through design and manufacture as developing S5PV210 CPU of SAMSUNG used by ARM Cortex-A8 based on Android which is Open mobile platform is installed to embedded system. Data for temperature and humidity which are received by sensor module proved the suitability and validity for the real time framework design as implementing application program employed the smart phone App with hybrid application based on DB of web server.

  • This paper presents the design technology of a Graphic Generator which drives the embedded aircraft display equipments such as HUD(Head-Up Display) and MFD (Multi-Function Display) those provide pilot with the most important mission information. The main issue of this design is how we can implement the real-time embedded graphic generator using a general purpose processor as a substitute for the obsolete the production of specific graphic processor in the military market. So we proposed two kinds of method that one is a software solution so called graphic kernel system, interpreting the display file, controlling the graphic system and pre-processing graphic primitives, the other is a hardware solution so called graphic engine, interpreting passed commands through the graphic kernel system, post-processing the looping calculation taking much of time as implemented by software. We have tested and verified the functionalities and the required performance of Graphic Generator.

A Study on Audience Counting Method in Auditorium Based on Pattern Comparison (패턴비교를 이용한 공연장에서의 관객 수 카운팅 방법에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose an audience counting method in an auditorium based on pattern comparison. The previous counting methods based on object detection can't exactly count the audience in real time because auditorium has coarse illumination condition and so many audiences. Therefore, in this paper, we count the audience in an auditorium with fixed seats by the method which the pattern from each reference seat is compared to the pattern from each input seat. Especially, to overcome limitations based on either illumination or noise, two pattern comparison methods are efficiently employed and combined. One is based on the amplitude projection, and the other is based on Walsh-Hadamard Kernel. Walsh-Hadamard Kernel has the characteristic which complements amplitude projection. Therefore, we ran achieve the accurate counting in the presence of coarse illumination and noise. The experimental results show that our method performs well on sequences of images acquired in an auditorium. We also verify a realistic possibility for other applications applying our method to the parking positioning system.
