Hybrid fuzzing which combines fuzzing and concolic execution, has proved its ability to achieve higher code coverage and therefore find more bugs. However, current hybrid fuzzers usually suffer from inefficiency and poor scalability when applied to complex, real-world program testing. We observed that the performance bottleneck is the inefficient cooperation between the fuzzer and concolic executor and the slow symbolic emulation. In this paper, we propose a novel solution named EPfuzzer to improve hybrid fuzzing. EPfuzzer implements two key ideas: 1) only the hardest-to-reach branch will be prioritized for concolic execution to avoid generating uninteresting inputs; and 2) only input bytes relevant to the target branch to be flipped will be symbolized to reduce the overhead of the symbolic emulation. With these optimizations, EPfuzzer can be efficiently targeted to the hardest-to-reach branch. We evaluated EPfuzzer with three sets of programs: five real-world applications and two popular benchmarks (LAVA-M and the Google Fuzzer Test Suite). The evaluation results showed that EPfuzzer was much more efficient and scalable than the state-of-the-art concolic execution engine (QSYM). EPfuzzer was able to find more bugs and achieve better code coverage. In addition, we discovered seven previously unknown security bugs in five real-world programs and reported them to the vendors.
Conventional Support Vector Machines (SVMs) have been utilized as classifiers for binary classification problems. However, certain real world problems, including corporate bond rating, cannot be addressed by binary classifiers because these are multi-class problems. For this reason, numerous studies have attempted to transform the original SVM into a multiclass classifier. These studies, however, have only considered nominal classification problems. Thus, these approaches have been limited by the existence of multiclass classification problems where classes are not nominal but ordinal in real world, such as corporate bond rating and multiclass customer classification. In this study, we adopt a novel multiclass SVM which can address ordinal classification problems using ordinal pairwise partitioning (OPP). The proposed model in our study may use fewer classifiers, but it classifies more accurately because it considers the characteristics of the order of the classes. Although it can be applied to all kinds of ordinal multiclass classification problems, most prior studies have applied it to finance area like bond rating. Thus, this study applies it to a real world customer level classification case for implementing customer relationship management. The result shows that the ordinal multiclass SVM model may also be effective for customer level classification.
With the development and spread of 3D display, users can easily experience an augmented reality with 3D features. Therefore, the demand for content of an augmented reality is exponentially growing in various fields. A traditional augmented reality environment was generally created by CG(Computer Graphics) modelling production tools. However, this method takes too much time and efforts to create an augmented environment. To create an augmented environment similar to the real world, everything in the real world should be measured, gone through modeling, and located in an augmented environment. But the time and efforts spent in the creation don't produce the same environment as the real world, making it hard for users to feel the sense of reality. In this study, multi-scale 3D panorama content augmented system is suggested by using a depth-map. By finding matching features from images to add 3D features to an augmented environment, a depth-map is derived and embodied as panorama, producing high-quality augmented content system with a sense of reality. With this study, limits of 2D panorama technologies will be overcome and a sense of reality and immersion will be provided to users with a natural navigation.

Urban dynamometer driving schedule(FTP-75 mode) plays very significant role on automotive emission test, due to reference point. The overall system energy efficiency of a HEV(Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is highly dependent on the energy management strategy employed. An energy source is the heart of a HEV. In order to applicable to a vehicle component, it must be need to real world test result. But, the present state of things have numerous problems. In this paper, be studied performed based on HEV simulation software in virtual world and chassis dynamometer test in real world and the result make a comparative. Toyota Prius vehicle was adapted as a modeling and real testing to evaluate the hybrid components and energy balancing management. The point at issue is voltage and current analysis for HEV battery SOC(State of Charge), and verification for energy.

After Dantzig and Rasmer introduced Vehicle Routing Problem in 1959, this field has been studied with numerous approaches so far. Classical Vehicle Routing Problem can be described as a problem of multiple number of homogeneous vehicles sharing a same starting node and having their own routes to meet the needs of demand nodes. After satisfying all the needs, they go back to the starting node. In order to apply the real world problem, this problem had been developed with additional constraints and pick up & delivery model is one of them. To enhance the effectiveness of pick up & delivery, hub became a popular concept, which often helps reducing the overall cost and improving the quality of service. Lots of studies have suggested heuristic methods to realize this problem because it often becomes a NP-hard problem. However, because of this characteristic, there are not many studies solving this problem optimally. If the problem can be solved in polynomial time, optimal solution is the best option. Therefore, this study proposes a new mathematical model to solve this problem optimally, verified by a real world problem. The main improvements of this study compared to real world case are firstly, make drivers visit every nodes once except hub, secondly, make drivers visit every nodes at the right time, and thirdly, make drivers start and end their journey at their own homes.

In this paper, we propose a new camera calibration method which is based on a fuzzy model instead of a physical camera model of the conventional method. The camera calibration is to determine the correlation between camera image coordinate and real world coordinate. The camera calibration method using a fuzzy model can not estimate camera physical parameters which can be obtained in the conventional methods. However, the proposed method is very simple and efficient because it can determine the correlation between camera image coordinate and real world coordinate without any restriction, which is the objective of camera calibration. With calibration points acquired out of experiments, 3-D real world coordinate and 2-D image coordinate are estimated using the fuzzy modeling method and the results of the experiments demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.

The augmented reality is a technology which expresses the information hardly obtained in the real world by synthesizing virtual objects in the real world. This study uses IR LED marker to obtain the coordination of real world for registration of virtual objects. Since the IR LED marker is inserted in target object thus it has properties of invisible markers. To realize the augmented reality, the existence of marker can be observed in camera input image. Therefore, this paper provides a method to give the properties of perfect invisible marker by using inpainting technology when realizing IR LED marker.
Logistics optimization problems related with vehicle routing such as warehouse locating, track scheduling, customer order delivery, wastage pickup etc. are very interesting and important issues to date. Many Vehicle Routing and Scheduling Systems (VRSS) have been developed/proposed to optimize the logistics problems. But majority of them are dedicated to a particular problem and are unable to handle the real world spatial data directly. The system developed for one problem may not be suitable for others due to inter-problem constraint variations. The constraints may include geographical, environmental and road traffic nature of the working region along with other constraints related with the problem. So the developer always needs to modify the original routing algorithm in order to fulfill the purpose. In our study, we propose a general-purpose platform by combining GIS road map and Database Management System (DBMS), so that VRSS can interact with real world spatial data directly to solve different kinds of vehicle routing problems. Using the features of our developed system, the developer can frequently modify the existing algorithm or create a new one to serve the purpose.
The solution of the environment problem is the common issue all over the world, for this reason the necessity of the environmental education of school has emphasized. On this a variety method for environmental education is needed, this paper planned and applied the 'ecology & environment' for high school which are based on GBS theory and presented a new model of environment education. GBS(Goal-Based Scenario) is that learners are presented with an end goal that is motivating and challenging. This goal is structured such that, in order to successfully meet it learners are required to build a predetermined core set of skills and knowledge by process mission and scenario. GBS is an active learning environment in which learners are trained in study that have a real-world context. When they are back in real-world they have increased ability to apply what was learned by reflecting on the GBS learning experience. This study was designed on GBS theory and taught a class by using internet Blog. As a result, when carefully reviewing the materials such as final presentation reflect journal, we conclude that the students' awareness of a learning environment is improved and the students seems to try to apply the learning outcome to a real life.
In this paper, we present an efficient tiled stereo display system for tangible meeting. For tangible meeting, it is important to provide immersive display with high resolution image to cover up the field of view and provide to the local user the same environment as that of remote site. To achieve these, a high resolution image needs to be transmitted for reconstruction of remote world, and it should be displayed using a tiled display. However, it is hard to transmit high resolution image in real time due to the limit of network bandwidth, and so we receive multiple images and reconstruct a remote world with received images in advance. Then, we update only a specific area where remote user exists by receiving low resolution image in realtime. We synthesize the transmitted image to the existing environmental map of remote world and display it as a stereo image. For this, we developed a new system which supports GPU based real time warping and blending, automatic feature extraction using machine vision technique.
