  • The purpose of this study is to predict the fracture energy in accordance with the combination variables by applying the mix design nomogram in ready mixed concrete products. In terms of the experiment for drawing up Mix Design Nomogram, the beam is manufactured based on the mixture table described in the specifications of ready mixed concrete manufacturing company and a three-point bending test suggested in RILEM 50-FMC Committee is performed. As a result, this study makes sure the possibility to apply the mix design nomogram that is possible to predict the fracture energy in ready mixed concrete products and enables one to achieve the automation of the design of mixture for the production of ready mixed concrete products with the development of program using it.

  • Quality control of ready-mixed concrete is most important in the production step because, the performance of hardened concrete is revealed due to ready-mixed concrete. Hardened concrete has several properties physically. Above all things compressive strength of concrete has a greate effect in the design of structures, analysis, and durability. Compressive strength is simple predicted by w/c up to date, but there are some limits because different compressive strengths can be revealed in the same w/c. Therefore this study contributes to the quality control of ready-mixed concrete through statistical analysis for the relation between mix factors in mix design and compressive strength, predictable equation for compressive strength.

  • The properties of ready mixed concrete are affected largely by quality of cement, grading and adhesive surface area water content of aggregate. The amount of variation must be found as soon as possible to minimize the variation of concrete properties. In this paper, a computer program is presented for fast and accurate calculation and modification of mix proportion according to property variation of concrete materials. The program calculates specified mix proportion, job mix proportion and batch weight of ready mixed concrete.

  • This study aims at analyzing the Mix & Match fashion trend expressed in the Ready to Wear collections shown in 27 collections of 3 designers(Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier, Comme des Gar$\c{c}$ons) over the past five years from 2007S/S to 2011S/S, and the results are as follows. 1) The characteristics were a combination of past and modern, the past and past prominent fashions combined at a different time, these styles and details were seen in Alexander McQueen's collection. 2) The properties of combination were expressed as a clash of cultures, such as East and West or African and European. 3) The characteristics of the combinations were expressed by differences in purpose, such as outer garments or underwear. 4) Artistic combinations of Mixing & Matching happen through a component confusion of art and garments. 5) The characteristics of Mixing & Matching fashion were expressed in images, especially in the case of Jean Paul Gaultier.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigarte the mix design method and the mechanical properties of High stength Lightweight Concrete (HSLC). In the experment, concrete mixing was conducted to select the optimum mix design for HSLC in laboratory. Also, concrete mixing in ready mix design. As a result, it is possible to establish the mix design of HSLC according to the using these experimental results ;the estimate equation for unit weight of HSLC. the relationship between W/C and compressive strength of HSLC and the fluidity of HSLC in the view of workability

  • In this Application Study based on the result of the Basic Study, the field test was performed to compare the quality of Ready-mixed shotcrete with that of the existing field mix shotcrete, and the long-term durability was evaluated as tunnel supporting. The plant manufacturing system was also designed to produce standardization materials, and the prototype products were produced with that system. The All-in-one silo mixer was designed and the field construction system using the All-in-one silo mixer was proposed to be most effectively applied Ready-mixed Shotcrete in construction fields. And the application of Ready-mixed Shotcrete was confirmed that more superior to the field mix Shotcrete by evaluating the Constructability and Economics.

  • In recent years, the large-scale shaft have been appling in domestic mine for mass production using a large machine, the safety of mine also have been increasing. And the new trial that shotcrete of tunnel field was apply to mine support was progressed. But, the conditions of domestic mine was different from that of tunnel, so, the batch plant of tunnel could not be installed in mine field because of low economical efficiency and difficulty for selection of site. Ready-mixed Shotcrete that mixed with high quality materials and could be controled shotcrete quality is producted in plants and transported to field, so do not need to batch plant. In this study, The Field test of the Ready-mixed Shotcrete was performed in the large-scale mine and was compared with the quality of Field mix shotcrete. As the result of the Field test, compressive strength and rebound of Ready-mixed Shotcrete were superior to these of Field mix shotcrete.

  • This paper presents the findings of an investigation of the fiber content variations in concrete being discharged from a ready-mix truck at the construction site. Concrete samples were extracted from the truck drums at the beginning, middle and end of discharge. Subsequently, fibers in each sample were separated from the concrete, and weighed. Presumably, synthetic macro fibers will float towards the top, i.e. towards the drum opening, of the inclined, revolving truck-drum, while, on the other hand, steel fibers will tend to gravitate towards the lower parts of the mixer drum. Accordingly, the discharge batch, containing synthetic macro fibers, will contain a higher amount of synthetic fibers per unit volume at the start of discharge than the average unit volume fiber content of the mix, and the content will gradually decrease further down the batch. The discharge batch of steel fiber concrete will contain fewer fibers per unit volume at the start of discharge than the average unit volume fiber content of the mix, and the content should gradually increase further down the batch. The correctness of the foregoing is partly confirmed. A certain percentage of the truck loads did not comply with the proposed requirements, mainly steel fiber reinforced batches, indicating the necessity of a code or guideline amendment. A change in the Norwegian shotcrete directive was made in 2011, based upon experimental research work (2010), which, in combination with the subsequent University of Life Sciences report (2012), constitutes the foundation of this article.

  • A new innovative composite material is textile reinforced cementitious composite (TRCC). To achieve high flexural performance researchers suggest polymer modification of TRCC matrices. In this study, nine ready mix repair mortars commonly used in construction industry and the production of TRCC elements were examined. Mechanical properties such as compressive and flexural strength, drying shrinkage were studied. Being a significant durability concern, alkali silica reaction tests were performed according to related standards. Results showed that, some ready repair mortar mixes are potentially reactive due to the alkali silica reaction. Two of the ready mortar mixes labelled as non-shrinkage in their technical data sheets showed the highest shrinkage. In this experiment, researchers designed new matrices. These matrices were fine grained concretes modified with polymer additives; latexes and redispersible powders. Two latexes and six redispersible powder polymers were used in the study. Mechanical properties of fine grained concretes such as compressive and flexural strengths were determined. Results showed that some of the fine grained concretes cast with redispersible powders had higher flexural strength than ready mix repair mortars at 28 days. Matrix composition has to be designed for a suitable consistency for planned production processes of TRCC and mechanical properties for load-carrying capacity.
