Numerical method for analyzing the reading process in magnetic recording system is described. Hysteresis characteristics must be included in numerical analysis not only recording process but also reading process because of hysteretic behavior of recording media. Algorithm which is consisted of finite clement method for numerical analysis and Preisach model considered to be more appropriate method than Stoner-Wohlfarth model with spin curling mode for describing hysteresis characteristics is constructed. Equations to calculate waveform of reproduced voltage is proposed. Then, this is applied to perpendicular magnetic recording systems with pole type head and double layer media. Waveform of magnetic flux density and reproduced voltage induced in head coil is obtained. If the recording current increase in recording process, magnitude of reproduced voltage in reproducing process saturates. From this saturation curve, value of current which produce maximum voltage can be obtained.

The standards for instructional media and equipments imply an essential element for curriculum. In knowledge-based society, school libraries are an educational environment to assist curriculum, offer information literacy and reading services. Therefore the standards for school libraries instructional media and equipments are able to suggest the mission of school library media center, and it should contain suitable elements for educational roles. But the current standards are insufficient from quantitatively as well as qualitatively. The purpose of this study is to provide PR campaign strategies for revitalization of reading culture that are pertinent to Korean situation through analyzing successful international PR campaign cases of advanced countries in reading. For analyzing successful international PR campaign cases for revitalizing reading culture, this study selected four international PR campaign cases from Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania. In addition, this study analyzed the goals and objectives, strategies and tactics, and strengths and weaknesses of the selected PR campaigns in order to draw a way for establishing effective PR campaign strategies for expanding social support about reading culture and diffusing reading culture. According to the findings of this study, the selected PR campaigns are maximizing PR effect by getting attentions of news media and public through using unique and ingenious ideas, and utilizing convenience for public to participate PR campaign easily as a main PR strategy. Furthermore, the selected PR campaigns are improving public's participation in the PR campaign by targeting readers who usually like reading as a main target audience, and maximizing public's participation in the PR campaign by using interesting elements that are attracting attentions from the public.

An open domain machine reading comprehension is a model that adds a function to search paragraphs as there are no paragraphs related to a given question. Document searches have an issue of lower performance with a lot of documents despite abundant research with word frequency based TF-IDF. Paragraph selections also have an issue of not extracting paragraph contexts, including sentence characteristics accurately despite a lot of research with word-based embedding. Document reading comprehension has an issue of slow learning due to the growing number of parameters despite a lot of research on BERT. Trying to solve these three issues, this study used BM25 which considered even sentence length and InferSent to get sentence contexts, and proposed an open domain machine reading comprehension with ALBERT to reduce the number of parameters. An experiment was conducted with SQuAD1.1 datasets. BM25 recorded a higher performance of document research than TF-IDF by 3.2%. InferSent showed a higher performance in paragraph selection than Transformer by 0.9%. Finally, as the number of paragraphs increased in document comprehension, ALBERT was 0.4% higher in EM and 0.2% higher in F1.

A book review expands readers' choice of resources by providing them with the contents and bibliographic data of various books. It also functions as a reader support service designed to enrich their reading experiences. In particular, in the field of children's reading, literary devices are used to convey knowledge and information to children. Therefore, a review for a children's book should help children follow a book with further readings so that they can expand their literary imagination through comparative reading. In light of the above, this study looks into the case of a children's story entitled Little Red Riding Hood to identify the points that should be addressed in the "Literature Comparison" section of a book review in order to suggest further readings to readers. First, the review should provide an objective description of the content of Little Red Riding Hood. Second, it should explain the literary value of the reviewed book and the discourse that surrounds it so as to analyze its unique features that separate it from other literary works. Third, the review should provide bibliographic information on other works that use narrative structures adapted from those of Little Red Riding Hood. Fourth, it should broaden readers' choice and access by introducing, if any, works adapted from Little Red Riding Hood into other media.

The present study selected female Japanese and Korean university students (a population that is assumed to be sensitive to the subject of fashion) as subjects. We investigated (1) their awareness of and attitudes about clothing styles, and (2) their relationships to fashion and various media. In both Japan and Korea, female students were highly interested in fashion and their major motive for adopting a given fashion was "style change" (the desire to change one's style by adopting a novel fashion) or "self-expression" (the desire to express oneself and achieve self-realization). They most frequently adopted a fashion during the acceptance phase (when the fashion has spread through the market and been shown extensively by the media). Korean students were more interested in and positive to fashion than were Japanese counterparts. Fashion magazines often served as the major source of information on clothing fashions. The frequency of buying magazines and the number of magazines bought were higher in Korea than in Japan. The time spent in reading these magazines was also longer in Korea. The frequency of buying fashion magazines correlated with the degree of interest in fashion and the time when a fashion was adopted. Students who adopted a fashion earlier tended to buy fashion magazines more frequently.

The method for analyzing the recording and reading process of magnetic recording system by numerical simulation is introduced. which can simulate the effect of elements of the magnetic recording system. During the whole simulation, hysteresis characteristics must be included. Preisach model and finite element method are used to construct the algorithm. From the wave of recording current, recorded pattern of magnetization in recording media is simulated in recording process, and then waveform of reading signal in head coil is obtained in reading process. To show the validity of this method, this is applied to perpendicular magnetic recording system. Waveform of recording signal and reproduced signal is obtained in several density. Pattern of reprocuced voltage magnitude according to increase of recording density shows roll-off curve.

The importance of church school education is becoming more emphasized. To maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of church school education, frequent utilization of instructional media is more desirable. Systematic approach to media utilization will be developed by the extabilishment of church media center. The purpose of this study was to review the concept and components of church media center and to survey the current status and hope for the facility of church media center. For the survey the 400 questionnaries were distributed to pastors or missionaries who are responssible for education, or personnels in church media center in Korea. The churches that they belong to have above approximately 500 church members. Among the distributed questionnaires, the 202 were collected. The results of the survey are as follows. The printed media and the AV media were managed separately in most churches. Many church media center was shared the space with other programs. The space was allocated mainly for storage. Most respondants hoped that they have a variety of areas in their churches. Many church media center have no separation between the area for the adults and that for children. However, most respondants hoped the separation of that areas. Followings are suggestions for the plan of church media center facilities. The space only for the church media center should be allocated. Church media center should be located in the first floor of the building as soon as possible. (If there is elevators in the building, it may be located above first floor). If enough space for the church media center is allocated, the areas for the adults and children should be separated by partitions or separate room. The space should consist of various areas like circulation area, reading area, working area for the personnel, production area, and storing area.

This study multilaterally explores South Korean YouTuber Winter Library's book-related contents uploaded on one's channel. As science and technology have developed, now the ordinary people can produce their videos and share them online. YouTube has been the most popular video storage service, and many Koreans use and enjoy it as well. This study investigates book-related contents produced by YouTuber user Winter Library, often called BookTuber (Book plus YouTuber). More specifically, it analyzes Winter Library's various contents by 1) Components of YouTube Channel 2) Contents of Components 3) Components that help to increase reading rates. This study is contributing as it focuses on book, which is not so common topic in YouTube. As a result, the study discovers unique aspects of YouTube contents, and also explores the book-related industry in South Korea. This YouTube channel could be functional for increasing reading rates, especially among adults.

Lip Reading(독순술(讀脣術)) 이란 입술의 움직임을 보고 상대방이 무슨 말을 하는지 알아내는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 MBC, SBS 뉴스 클로징 영상에서 쓰이는 문장 10개를 데이터로 사용하고 CNN(Convolutional Neural Network) 아키텍처 중 모바일 기기에서 동작을 목표로 한 MobileNet을 모델로 이용하여 발화자의 입모양을 통해 문장 인식 연구를 진행한 결과를 제시한다. 본 연구는 MobileNet과 LSTM을 활용하여 한국어 입모양을 인식하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 뉴스 클로징 영상을 프레임 단위로 잘라 실험 문장 10개를 수집하여 데이터셋(Dataset)을 만들고 발화한 입력 영상으로부터 입술 인식과 검출을 한 후, 전처리 과정을 수행한다. 이후 MobileNet과 LSTM을 이용하여 뉴스 클로징 문장을 발화하는 입모양을 학습 시킨 후 정확도를 알아보는 실험을 진행하였다.
