  • As a evaluation method of combustion stability in a liquid rocket engine thrust chamber, external disturbance devices are used. In the paper, the study on pulse-gun ignition tests for a combustion stability rating test of a thrust chamber was performed. Charging volume of pulse-guns was determined by confirming the intensities of the pressure waves from the ignition tests in the cold-flow conditions. While using same injector head, combustion instabilities were not encountered during 14 hot-firing tests without pulse-guns but combustion instabilities were triggered by pulse-gun ignition during 2 hot-firing tests. The results showed that the pulse-gun ignition test could be the evaluation method and could reduce the hot-firing test number for the stability rating of a thrust chamber.

  • Bridge load rating calculations provide a basis for determining the safe load capacity of bridge. Load rating requires engineering judgement in determining a rating value that is applicable to maintaining the safe use of the bridge and arriving at posting and permit decisions. Load testing is an effective means in calculating the rating value of bridge. In Korea, load carrying capacity of bridge is modified by stress modification factor that is determined from comparisons of measured values and analysis results The stress modification factor may be corrupted by vehicle location error that is defined as the gap of test vehicle location between load testing and analysis. In this study, the effects of vehicle location error to structural response and stress modification factor are investigated, and a new method for evaluating stress modification factor is proposed. The random data analysis shows that the proposed method is less sensitive to vehicle location error than the present method.

  • Dynamic thermal rating (DTR) system is an effective method to improve the capacity of existing overhead line. According to the methodology based on CIGRE (International Council on Large Electric systems) standard, ampacity values under steady-state heating balance can be calculated from ambient environmental conditions. In this study, simulation analysis of relations between parameters and ampacity is described as functional dependence, which can provide an effective basis for the design and research of overhead transmission lines. The simulation of ampacity variation in different rating scales is described in this paper, which are determined from real-time meteorological data and conductor state parameters. To test the performance of DTR in different rating scales, capacity improvement and risk level are presented. And the experimental results show that the capacity of transmission line by using DTR has significant improvement, with low probability of risk. The information of this study has an important reference value to the operation management of power grid.

  • To predict combustion instability in actual full-scale combustion chamber of rocket engines, air-injection test is proposed with scaling techniques. From the data, damping factors have been obtained as a function of hydraulic parameter and the data give us instability map. Two instability regions are presented and it is found that they coincide reasonably with them from hot-fire test with full-scale flow rates. Accordingly, the proposed approach can be applied cost-effectively to stability rating of jet injectors when mixing of fuel and oxidizer jets is the dominant process in instability triggering.

Methods : We searched the recent date of the publication and paper in ADHD. Results : For Assesment and Diagnosis of ADHD, various method such as interview with parents, child and teacher, behavior observation, behavior rating scales and neuropsychological test are used. The structured interview consists of the restrictive questions and response, and then have diagnostic algorithm, consequently can be used by untrained clinicians. Of the structured interview, standardization of K-SADS in Korean version is finished. Behavior rating scales, the form of parent, teacher and self-report questionnaires, are used as diagnosis and treatment evaluation of ADHD. Behavior rating scales consist of both ADHD-specific scales and broad-band scales designed to screen for various symptoms (including ADHD symptoms). ADHD-specific scales are useful in differential diagnosis, discrimination of subtype, treatment evaluation, However, broad-band scales are useful in preliminary examination. The neuropsychological tests can evaluate attention deficit and effect of attention deficit on cognitive function and academic performance. The neuropsychological tests also used in diagnosis and treatment evaluation of ADHD. Conclusion : For Assesment and Diagnosis of ADHD, various method are used, especially behavior rating scales are both useful and simple tool for diagnosis and treatment evaluation.

  • Purpose: As improving the search performance of aviation security equipment is considered essential, this study proposes the need for research on how to find an optimized test sequence that can reduce test time and operator power during the search function test of explosive detection systems. We derive the weights and work difficulty adjustment factor required to find the optimized test order. Methods: First, after setting the test factors, the time of each test and the difficulty scale determined by the worker who performed the test directly were used to derive weights. Second, the work difficulty adjustment coefficient was determined by combining the basic weight adjustment factor and corresponding to the body part used by the test using objective rating. Then the final standard time was derived by calculating the additional weights for the changeability of the test factors. Results: The order in which the final standard time is minimized when 50 tests are performed was defined as the optimized order. 50 tests should be conducted without duplication and the optimal order of tests was obtained when compared to previously numbered tests. As a result of minimizing the total standard time by using Excel's solver parameters, it was reduced by 379.14 seconds, about 6.32 minutes. Conclusion: We tried to express it in mathematical formulas to propose a method for setting an optimized test sequence even when testing is performed on other aviation security equipment. As a result, the optimal test order was derived from the operator's point of view, and it was demonstrated by minimizing the total standard time.

  • The study was carried out to identify the relationship of patients' self-rating and nurses' rating on health literacy of hospitalized patients. Data were collected using the Korean Functional Health Literacy Test (KFHLT) which was revised for hospitalized patients and Single Item Literacy Screener. A total of 178 subjects, which consisted of 89 hospitalized patients and 89 nurses taking care of them, were recruited from medical and surgical wards of E university hospital. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 program. The results showed that the average health literacy score of the subjects was $11.45{\pm}4.22$ out of 17 and the average correct answer rate was 67.3%. Patient health literacy was significantly different by age, education, occupation and reading handouts. The patients' self-rating had significant correlation with health literacy measured by KFHLT while nurses' rating did not. There was no significant correlation between patients' self-rating and nurses' rating. The findings suggest that patients' self-rating might be available to assess patient health literacy in hospitals and a careful approach is required when nurses use a single-item rating.

  • In this paper, we propose a new idea to evaluate the prediction accuracy of user's preference generated by memory-based collaborative filtering algorithm before prediction process in the recommender system. Our analysis results show the possibility of a pre-evaluation before the prediction process of users' preference of item's transaction on the web. Classification functions proposed in this study generate a user's rating pattern under certain conditions. In this research, we test whether classification functions select users who have lower prediction or higher prediction performance under collaborative filtering recommendation approach. The statistical test results will be based on the differences of the prediction accuracy of each user group which are classified by classification functions using the generative probability of specific rating. The characteristics of rating patterns of classified users will also be presented.
