점토의 2차 압축특성과 콘크리트궤도 수명과의 상관성 분석 (Analysis of the Relationship between Concrete Slab Track Life and Secondary Compression Characteristics in Soft Clay)

  • 최근 경부고속철도 2단계와 호남고속철도에 적용된 콘크리트궤도는 초기 건설비는 기존 자갈궤도에 비하여 불리하나, 유지관리비용은 유리한 것으로 검토되었다. 이와 같은 이유로 콘크리트궤도는 일반철도 신설구간을 중심으로 점점 더 적용구간이 늘어나고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 콘크리트궤도의 가장 큰 문제점 중의 하나는 침하로 인한 궤도 보수와 관계된 문제이다. 궤도의 하부 노반침하 및 이로 인한 궤도 안정성 저하는 콘크리트궤도의 가장 큰 단점이고, 고속철도 설계기준에는 허용잔류침하량을 25mm로 제시하고 있다. 콘크리트궤도의 안정성을 위해서는 2차 압축침하량을 기준치 이내로 관리하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 2차 압축침하에 대한 이론을 토대로 연약지반의 2차 압축지수 및 연약지반 층의 두께 그리고 궤도수명에 따른 2차 압축침하량을 산정하여 궤도구조 선정에 활용하도록 제시하였다. 또한 국내 연약지반의 2차 압축계수의 확률분포 특성을 분석을 통하여, 콘크리트궤도 부설이 불가능한 지역이 10% 이상 나타남을 알 수 있었다.

철도 궤도의 수명주기비용 분석 : 고속철도 자갈궤도와 콘크리트궤도 사례 연구 (Analysis of Life Cycle Costs of Railway Track : A Case Study for Ballasted and Concrete Track for High-Speed Railway)

  • 구조 형식이나 공법의 선정, 유지보수 시기, 보수방법의 결정 등의 의사 결정에서 수명주기비용(life cycle cost, LCC)의 평가가 중요하다. 철도 궤도구조의 경우 초기시공비 뿐 아니라 유지보수비가 총 비용의 상당 부분을 차지하고, 특히 자갈궤도일수록 그 비율은 더욱 높으므로 수명주기비용 평가의 필요성이 더욱 높다. 이 연구에서는 궤도 구조 형식, 연간 통행량, 축중, 열차 속도, 곡선 비율, 구조물(교량, 터널) 비율 등 다양한 설계변수를 고려할 수 있는 LCC 산정 모델을 개발하고, 각 비용의 산정에 필요한 기초 자료를 제시하였으며 구축된 모델과 자료를 바탕으로 주요 설계변수에 따른 고속철도 자갈궤도와 콘크리트궤도 LCC의 변화 경향을 분석하고, 이로부터 궤도 LCC 분석에 있어서의 고려해야 할 주요 변수를 검토하였다. 검토 결과 자갈궤도는 교체 및 운영 비용의 비중이 콘크리트궤도에 비해 현저히 높았으며, 연간 통행량과 자갈 탬핑 주기가 자갈궤도의 LCC에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 콘크리트궤도는 초기 시공비의 비중이 현저히 높았고, 연간 통행량이나 열차속도, 축중 등에 상대적으로 영향을 적게 받는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 국내 궤도 흙노반재료의 선정기준은 기초물성 값(입경, 200번체 통과량($P_{200}$), 4번체 통과량($P_4$), 균등계수($C_u$), 곡률계수($C_c$)등)을 이용하는 통일분류법에 의존하고 있으며, 선정된 궤도노반의 현장 다짐도는 들밀도 시험 및 반복평판재하시험 결과 $E_{v2}$에 의해 파악한다. 그러나 궤도노반의 변형 및 안정성에 미치는 가장 큰 영향요소는 강성(Stiffness)이므로, 노반재료의 분류특성은 기초물성 값 자체 보다는 다짐 후 변형계수를 활용하는 것이 보다 정확하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 궤도노반에 사용되는 국내 대표적인 흙 재료의 기초물성과 현장시험에 의한 변형계수($E_{v2}$, $E_{vd}$)와의 상관식을 도출하였다. 이와 같은 상관특성은 성능설계를 위한 국내 고유의 철도궤도용 전용흙분류기준수립을 위한 근거로 사용될 수 있다.

Study on collapse mechanism and treatment measures of portal slope of a high-speed railway tunnel

  • The slope of an open cut tunnel is located above the exit of the Leijia tunnel on the Changgan high-speed railway. During the excavation of the open cut tunnel foundation pit, the slope slipped twice, a large landslide of 92500 m3 formed. The landslide body and unstable slope body not only caused the foundation pit of the open cut tunnel to be buried and the anchor piles to be damaged but also directly threatened the operational safety of the later high-speed railway. Therefore, to study the stability change in the slope of the open cut tunnel under heavy rain and excavation conditions, a 3D numerical calculation model of the slope is carried out by Midas GTS software, the deformation mechanism is analyzed, anti-sliding measures are proposed, and the effectiveness of the anti-sliding measures is analyzed according to the field monitoring results. The results show that when rainfall occurs, rainwater collects in the open cut tunnel area, resulting in a transient saturation zone on the slope on the right side of the open cut tunnel, which reduces the shear strength of the slope soil; the excavation at the slope toe reduces the anti-sliding capacity of the slope toe. Under the combined action of excavation and rainfall, when the soil above the top of the anchor pile is excavated, two potential sliding surfaces are bounded by the top of the excavation area, and the shear outlet is located at the top of the anchor pile. After the excavation of the open cut tunnel, the potential sliding surface is mainly concentrated at the lower part of the downhill area, and the shear outlet moves down to the bottom of the open cut tunnel. Based on the deformation characteristics and the failure mechanism of the landslides, comprehensive control measures, including interim emergency mitigation measures and long-term mitigation measures, are proposed. The field monitoring results further verify the accuracy of the anti-sliding mechanism analysis and the effectiveness of anti-sliding measures.

  • Turnout is a mechanical installation enabling railway trains to be guided from one track to another at a railway junction. there are classified variously according to rail type, sleeper type, fastening system, track type. Construction of concrete track are on the increase recently to secure the safety of track structure as well as to reduce the maintenance cost. SFC fastening system used the plain track a lot and for those reasons, The fast clip turnout demand growing to improving efficiency of the maintenance cost by unification of fastening clip on whole line. in this study is about development of the fastening system for new turnout using fast clip. this fastening system assembled elasticity pad underneath a base plate. its can change stiffness how to adjust contact surface area of elasticity pad Developed fastening system have passed test according to rule of KRS-TR0014-09R (rail fastening system) and Performance Certification by KR.

  • Ceramic insert and anchor has many advantages compared with existing steel products, therefor widely applied for concrete bridge, tunnel, railroad and building etc. in Japan. Ceramic insert and anchor start-to-used in Korea is no longer, but the product has already been applied to various construction sites and have been recognized for excellence. But now in Korea, the ceramic insert and anchor are not yet widely use like in Japan. This paper was an introduction to the ceramic insert and anchor, and detailed explained the product excellent performance. Ceramic insert and anchor can be applied to many areas, but in this case the focus was the application of ceramic insert and anchor for railway structures. In this paper we detailed compared the ceramic products with existing steel products in their respective characteristic, and analyzed on their application in domestic and foreign.

  • This paper deals with the design of a microphone array to measure location and spectral characteristics of railway noise sources. A microphone array estimates the direction of a noise source assumed as a point source using the delayed-sum beamforming method and its performance is determined in terms of resolution and side-lobe level. A 48 channel microphone array was already developed to measure noise sources of KTX trains and a new array with 96 microphones has been designed to enhance the performance. This paper simulates the performance the microphone arrays according to the configuration of microphones and verifies it through on-site tests.

  • This paper is described that advanced study on network design of remote diagnosis system for power facilities of electric railway. In the field, it is very difficult for worker to diagnosis power facilities including catenary because workers should be maintenance on AC power supply. Therefore, to properly design on remote diagnosis system, we have searched the inside and outside of the country-related technology trends. Also we confirmed that required technologies to design interface technology required for the development of sensor devices and the USN network was designed in accordance with required skills. Throughout variety of requirements, we have development iRFS based ZA sensors and iRFM to receive data of sensor. Also CC2420 is applied as single-chip which used 2.4GHz IEEE802.15.4 compliant RF tranciver designed for low-power and low-voltage wireless applications for ZigBee communication.

  • This paper present adaptation method of rail potential test to verify DC railway system's performance and safety. For protection of person and utility caused by rail potential rise, international standard to limit rail potential rise is made and rail potential is tested at the time of plan and construction of DC railway system in foreign country. So, we need rail potential test at the opening time and prepare a continuous monitoring technique of rail potential and a limitation method of rail potential rise. For these, we describe cause of rail potential rise, international standard about rail potential, protection principle, an example of calculation and measurement, and adaptation method for performance test.

고속철도 수직구 터널구조물에 적용된 파형강판공법의 구조적 안정성 검토 (The Evaluation of Structural Stability of Corrugated Steel Plate Method applied in High-Speed Railway Vertical Tunnel Structures)

  • In this paper, structural analysis of High-Speed railway vertical tunnel structures was performed to verify the structural stability. The corrugated steel plate method was applied to the vertical tunnel structures for its simple construction method and low cost. The structural stability of Wall, Connection and Storage section was performed with LRFD and ASD design method at joint part, buckling, stress and plastic hinge. From the results, all of vertical tunnel structures shown the structural stability regardless of design method and structure types. So, the application of corrugated steel plate in vertical tunnel structures instead of cast-in-placed concrete was quite enough.
